July is always a bit of a weird one, especially here in Denmark, as we have a lot of summer vacations taking place during this month. As a result, the monthly is a little different this time round, as we look at a new trailer and a minidoc that was released recently! But I don't
I'm super pumped for Dinolords, because it brings together some really interesting gameplay mechanics - the latest trailer shows some of it off. Read the full article here:
Woah, June came and went faster than a Epidexipteryx can eat a Cerambycinus beetle. We are just in the tail end of a big heatwave here in Denmark, and it seems most of Europe has been feeling pretty hot over the last week - I hope everyone is doing all right and remember to drink
One day eats the next, and before you know it, it's time for a new edition of Dinolords Monthly! Fresh off the press (or, well, my keyboard I guess), this time we will be talking about construction and destruction of buildings, some cool tech in Entities/DOTS, and ending with som
Welcome to the April edition of Dinolords Monthly! This time we are going to talk a little in-depth about level design and what considerations are important for making a good map for Dinolords, and a quick look at two of the newly updated Dinosaur models that are making their way

Hello everyone, Michael here. I’m the CEO of Northplay and Game Director on Dinolords. Frederik/panxter usually writes our Steam updates and he is a much wittier writer than me, but most of the team is taking a well deserved holiday after an eventful year. This, however, gives me
To paraphrase Mariah Carey, all I want for Christmas is to ride a velociraptor into battle against a legion of Vikings trying to assault my precious fortress in Ipswich. Thanks to the magic of Father Christmas (and developer Northplay), my Christmas wish has come true. Time-trave
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! And that means the page of the calendar has turned and it's time for a Dinolords Monthly! We were so busy with the big test that we skipped last months edition, so hopefully we can share some cool stuff in this one to make up for it. A
We’re thrilled to finally open the gates to the Dinolords Closed Alpha! The response to our latest trailer has been incredible. Nearly 20,000 people have signed up to help us test the game, which is far more than we can accommodate at once. We’ll be inviting players in waves , so
Dinolords is one of those ideas that sells itself the second you hear about it, a colourful blend of RTS and ARPG that sees medieval knights and marauding Vikings take to battle on the backs of roaring, stomping, terrible lizards. I've been eager to try it ever since it was annou
Is there a single videogame that wouldn't be improved by the addition of dinosaurs? Counter-Strike with dinosaurs would be brilliant. GTA 6 would sell an extra bazillion copies if it simply included a velociraptor or two. Rollercoaster Tycoon with dinosaurs is already a thing wit

With fall rapidly approaching, September has arrived, and with that another edition of Dinolords Monthly is ready. In this one, we talk a little about Gamescom, how to command and control units, and look at some new assets that have made their way into the game. Gamescom 2025 Jus
Nearly two years ago now, Dinolords was announced with one of the all-time great videogame trailers. 55 seconds of seemingly straightforward, medieval strategy and city-building, suddenly interrupted by the arrival of a viking riding a T rex while heavy metal music plays ... Read
It's summer, the sun is out for the three days of summer we get in Denmark, and a bunch of different things are happening in Dinolords. This month we are revisiting and expanding a little on the subject of basebuilding, we are looking at some more cool art, and then we are scratc
