Hey there! Another small patch to address a few issues: Reworked the scene loading logic to prevent softlocking the game Made one puzzle a little bit easier in one of the Hyperdrive levels. Happy gaming!
Cheers! Here's the first update post-launch. The update fixes several bugs, so do update the game. Fixed a code input bug on the restaurant level Fixed a logic issue on the second ending regarding a puzzle Fixed an issue with a hotspot on the first nomad level Fixed an NPC visibi
Hey everybody! It's less than a month before the doors of our infinite hotel open. Here's some live material from the game to get you exctited!
Greetings from the debugging hellhole. The game is almost finished, but I still have my work cut out for me. Majority of bugs are now squished, and every single piece of content is in place. To celebrate the upcoming launch next month, here's the first 30 minutes of the game for
Hey! I haven't been posting new videos for a while now. I've been neck-deep in family stuff & game development, and there has been a lot of stuff going on in the past few weeks. The biggest piece of news if course the release of a new demo, which adds a ton of new content for
Greetings! Although Next Fest kicks into gear officially next Monday, we wanted to start the festivities early. We have just released a massively upgraded demo, which includes a whole lot of new stuff. Your feedback has been extremely valuable, and we’ve taken that to heart while
Cheers! This week we achieved a very important milestone as all the levels of the game are now in place. This means that the game can be now completed from start to finish, which is pretty damn crazy! It's been pretty intense couple of months, so I'm very, very happy (and also re
Cheers! In this week's devlog I'll give you another sneak peek to the ending of the game, but I'll also talk a bit about the reworked user interface of Hyperdrive Inn. We didn't originally intend to have inventory puzzles in the game, but I'm very pleased to tell you that now we
Phew, the end is getting near, as we're currently working on the epic finale of Hyperdrive Inn! Check out the weekly devlog below for more details & small sneak peek on what's to come.
Cheers everyone! I'm super excited to announce that we have now completed all the levels of the game! Well, except the ending, but that's exactly what we're going to deal with next. This week's devlog features a very compact level, my thoughts on puzzle design & family news!
Cheers everyone! One of my subscribers asked last week why does Hyperdrive Inn look like it's a work in progress. Well, that's because it is. We're launching the game in October, so we're still neck deep in the development work, and we're not focusing our efforts on polish before
It's winter holiday here in Finland, so I've been hanging out with the kids a bit more. The gamedev train can't be stopped, though, so we did make good progress despite having a bit more lighter week. The game is slowly starting to come together, but I still have a massive boss e
Cheers everyone! We made good progress this week, and there is light at the end of the content tunnel. We're already preparing for the next tasks, because once the content is done, the real work starts. What do I mean by that? Check out the video below to find out!
Hey everyone! I wanted to cover something different in this week's devlog. Game development is mentally straining at times. You have to wear a lot of hats, and there usually are so much things that require your attention. This is how I cope with those things.
One of the key aspects of Hyperdrive Inn hasn't been covered in previous devlogs, but that's about to change. Meet Juhana Lehtiniemi, our extremely talented composer, who's in charge of Hyperdrive Inn's amazing soundscape.
Nuclear reactor is a great setting for a puzzle-focused level, don't you think? We're currently working on the last level set before the epic ending, so we really want to put those brain cells of yours to the test. Check out the fresh devlog for more!
This week I've been doing some moderate debugging and there's been quite a lot of other stuff that has required my attention. After putting in some overtime I was able to complete this pretty cool restaurant themed level. Check it out from the video below!
This week has been very productive and certainly a lot better one than the week before. I had a lot of fun while making this concention-themed level. Check out the video, download the demo and wishlist the game if you haven't already!
Last week wasn't one of the best, or one of the good ones either. The project suffered the first real setback, so check out the devlog & see what's going on.
