Today we are bringing you a few more teasers and work in progress screens that we have tinkered with recently.
Let's begin with an essential ones: shop improvements. You might think this is something developers only take so much care about because they want to make money, but it is never that simple. One of the reasons we have to make shop be its best version possible is that without figuring out all the proper items, pricing, gacha systems and drop rates we just can't open new regions (and Steam too).
Each country has its own laws that we have to abide by and some other underlying bureaucratic work to go through. Only then, after all is set and done, we can expand the horizons and invite new players into the world of Lust Kingdom.
Another system we worked a lot on recently is player collection, specifically scenes gallery. As we mentioned before, we want to make sure players can easily figure out how to get all the desired content and also enjoy their time going through the collection.
Gallery UI we had previously was already doing everything we wanted but we saw some opportunities for improvement and went for it. The immersive concept of visiting a picture gallery was expanded on with fancy looking frames and warmer palette to set the mood.
Finally, we have some early concepts for what is called the merge system. Every heroine in the game can be upgraded by combining her shards. This process adds one more star to heroine rating which in return allows her to be upgraded to higher levels.
How do you get said stars? We have a few ways in mind, including participating in special sequences, but the system itself is in its early stages so we won't promise it is going to stay the same when implementation comes around.
