v1.0.4 - Sticker update
I noticed that the stickers in 5050 looked a bit... generative… Most of them seemed ok, but there were a few details that caught my eye particularly, like the unusual shaping on the camera, or the strange "pocket" on the plant pot. But the more I looked, the more they all started
I noticed that the stickers in 5050 looked a bit... generative… Most of them seemed ok, but there were a few details that caught my eye particularly, like the unusual shaping on the camera, or the strange "pocket" on the plant pot. But the more I looked, the more they all started to look a bit suspicious.
So to be on the safe side, I reached out to one of the main artists from my “I commissioned some” series to redo them.
I was going to ask them to make entirely new ones, but that’s not ideal for people that have already spent time grinding for them, so instead I opted for reimagining them. And I think they’ve done a wonderful job.
I’ve now replaced the suspicious sticker assets with these proper ones:
Where were they from?
They were originally assets that I had commissioned for a new style of hidden object game I was making. The idea was that the screen would get completely plastered with stickers, but you had to look for a specific one. So I commissioned a few hundred of them, but the project got abandoned. I needed some stickers for 5050, so I figured I’d reuse a few of them.
