CONCEPT
The concept for Interstellar Impact was to create a straightforward game that everybody could enjoy. You can play without devoting much time, but there will still be a challenge.
After considering the aforementioned information, we began to consider possible creations. After considerable deliberation, we chose to pursue the idea of creating a lighthearted adventure game. We chose to create a space game in which the player begins as an asteroid. To expand, you must collide with nearby items that are smaller than you. By doing that, you will gradually advance through several stages—from asteroid to planet to sun—until the sun explodes and transforms into a black hole.
We choose to let the gamer select their preferred playing style. The game keeps track of your time as you play, whether you're searching for something to pass the time during a break or you're aiming to beat the challenge to reach the finish line as quickly as you can. Your time will appear on the screen if you succeed in finishing the game.

After the concept for the game was developed, we got to work on the prototypes for all the required 3D models. We required 3D representations of the planets, suns, and asteroids in order for the game to function.
We were looking for a design aesthetic to use when we first started working on the assets.

We started setting up the scene and testing everything after the prototype was finished.
SCENE TESTING

After the prototype stage, we got to work on giving the assets their final appearance. We chose to integrate geometry nodes, conventional sculpting, texture work, and VFX inside the engine to achieve the greatest results.

In the end, we are pleased with how everything came out, and we are eager to inform everyone about Interstellar Impact.
