Hello everyone, we are the developers of Captain Goose and today we have a small announcement for our dear players.
First of all, we would like to apologise to those who encountered problems while playing the game. Some bugs slipped out of our sight and ended up in the finished version of Captain Goose, which we sincerely regret. We have been working on the bugs for the last week and are ready to provide a report on the work done...
What's changed?
- Fixed a bug with items in inventory, when there was confusion among purchased items...
- Expanded the tutorial, now the goose instructor introduces players to the basic mechanics in more detail.
- The dialogue with the merchant Hornworm could be easily skipped without noticing the button. Now the Hornworm will speak to you himself when you visit him on the deck (up arrow in the hold). He will tell you many interesting things about the world of the game.
- First mate Rick will immediately suggest you to put on board cannon, so that the first level doesn't become too difficult (arrow to the right and "Hull" tab). But the choice, of course, is up to you)))
- Levels became a bit shorter, and the progression can be recognised by the location of the island on the horizon. The closer the island is to the ship, the closer the end of the level!
- Picked chests now give more coins, so players can try out new projectiles every level and not feel the lack of resources. Just don't forget to pick them up)))
- Fixed the flaws in the work of perks that are given when installing nasal figures. They are also bought for pearls, which can be lifted from the bottom.
