We’ve been under the hood. This one is about making the game nicer to live in: a brand-new Settings menu, better controller and keyboard support, audio that actually listens to your volumes, and a pile of “why did my bucket do that” fixes.
What’s new
Optimisations: We've improved in a number of places the performance of the game.
A rebuilt Settings menu: Categories for General, Audio, Display, Graphics, Accessibility, and more, with smoother open/close animation and shortcut buttons so you can jump around without digging.
Controller and keyboard navigation: Settings and the main menu work with a pad or keys again. Vibration can be toggled. Mouse look sensitivity and invert Y now live in General.
Audio, properly: Master mute plus separate sliders for music, SFX, and the rest. Mop swipes, hoover, monsters, traps, Rumbi, Lucy, and grade stingers now go through the mixer, so your volumes actually apply. Credits music is back too.
Accessibility: Turn text animations off, and pick higher-contrast colours for highlighted UI text.
AFK dimming: The screen can fade if you step away. Timeout is now a setting.
Language: We improved some translations.
Fixes
Buckets should no longer fall through the floor, vanish forever, or get wedged inside colliders.
Bucket water, dirtiness, and position save and load more reliably.
Coin counter shows 0 when you’re broke, instead of going blank.
The game no longer crashes if the online servers are down. You can keep playing solo.
Save data is more robust after the engine update.
This is a quality-of-life patch. No new maps or gadgets in this drop. If something still feels off after the Settings swap, send a report from the menu and we’ll keep mopping!
