100 Steps is a roguelite tower crawler that throws you into the role of a hero trying to top the Tower. There’s not much known about why the Tower exists or who built it, but plenty have tried to conquer its highest floor to snatch up eternal glory.
You kick off your quest with just 100 moves. Everything you do matters, from cracking open chests to eyeballing your foes. So, how do you plan to reach the 100th floor with those moves? That's where the fun begins.
The game eases you in, but as you go along, you'll need to get clever with the resources you find to make it through. It’s all about figuring out the game’s mechanics to either bend or break the rules to your advantage.
Pick a hero that vibes with your playstyle! Start as the Adventurer, but soon you'll get to choose from 10 unique characters, each with their own stats, weaponry, and passive skills.
Your mission is to climb through the levels to the pinnacle of the Tower. Each floor introduces tougher enemies. Fight them or race to the Gate to bypass them—the choice is yours. Every so often, you’ll need to take down a boss to move up.
Always check the chests you find; they have timers showing how many moves you have before they disappear. They're packed with weapons, health potions, and gear that boosts your stats for a bit or for the rest of your run.
Trinkets are cool little items with special perks—if you meet certain conditions, they give you extra moves to push further upwards.
Now and then, you'll bump into a Vendor and a Forge. Buy items with your collected gold at one, and fix up your gear or upgrade your trinkets at the other.
If you trip up and have to start over, make sure to leverage your Feats and Power-ups. Feats help you unlock more heroes and gear for your runs, while Power-ups are upgrades you keep no matter how many times you restart.

You'll navigate a hexagonal grid board where every action—movement, attack, even opening a chest—depletes your step counter. So think carefully before making a move. 💭
Thankfully, you'll find support in chests containing valuable items like better weapons, area-of-effect spells, and trinkets that directly affect your stats and movement range. Strategize to climb the Tower efficiently. Along your journey, you'll encounter the Vendor and Forge, where you can purchase items or repair and upgrade your existing ones. 🛠️
As you progress, a wider array of items will become available. Completing Feats will earn you new items that may spawn during gameplay, while points collected from each run unlock permanent power-ups, facilitating your ascent.
Did I mention you can break the one rule? There are ways to outsmart the gods and gain extra steps. But beware, exceeding 100 steps will corrupt the world around you, spawning stronger foes in your path. However, you'll gain access to corrupted items whose power surpasses all others. ⚔️
