Alpha Update 3

Alpha Update 3 for AlterSpace is now live! This update primarily includes modifications to gunplay and combat, but also some QoL fixes/updates. The full patch notes for this update can be found here:

Starter weapon has now been modified to be fully automatic instead of semi automatic
Increased fire rate for all NPCs
Scrolling through and equipping/dequipping guns can now be done with the mouse wheel
Main Menu splash screen can now be skipped with ESC
Medkits now heal 50hp instead of only 20hp
Consuming food now restores 35 hunger instead of 25
Drinking water now restores 35 thirst instead of 25
Modified scale of certain celestial bodies
Added hover effects to Main Menu buttons

Hello everyone!
It's been around a year since the last update, but now we're back! We apologize that we haven't released any updates in such a long time, but it was mainly due to issues with corrupt game files that we had to solve. We've also upgraded the game engine version so that we'll be able to use new methods to adding new features and improving the graphics of the game.
This update is just a small one, containing mostly optimization and some bug fixes:

Minor graphic optimizations
Decreased mouse sensitivity
Modified scale of some items to be more realistic
General, smaller bug fixes
We expect to start rolling out updates more consistently again now, and we hope to be able to release a bigger update within a week or two. If you have encountered any certain bugs as well that you see haven't been fixed in this patch, please let us know in our discussion forum!

Hello all space travellers!
We wrote in the last announcement that we planned to release the next major alpha update for AlterSpace in the end of this month, but however, due to some technical difficulties that will not be possible.
We aim on getting this update out as soon as possible. During the development process we've found more bugs that needs to be fixed as well, which we plan on doing before we release the next update. if you've noticed any major - or minor bugs that you would like fixed in the next update, please make a post in our community hub.
We do have some more information about the things that will be included in this update however. Except for the already mentioned stuff in the last post we plan on including:

Fixes of scale of items (especially crates) on planets to be more realistic
Improved character customization
Improved moveability in air, when jumping on low gravity planets
Fixing some issues with audio and music
and more!
We will get back with more information about when we'll be able to release this update as soon as we can.

This patch contains:

Fixed bug where tritium prices wouldn't appear at first in trading hub
Increased jump height for starter map
Balance changes to the trading system
Balance changes to the food and water system
Fixed bug where disabling music doesn't work

We're happy to release the second alpha update for AlterSpace - mostly containing bug fixes, but also preparing for the release of a brand new ship as well as some new features!
This update includes:

Fixed cursor not appearing on ship selling console
Balance Changes
Fixed not being able to use food and water after warning had appeared
Added text indicator that displays which system you're in, in the Galaxy Map
Pop-up's for loot box content
Fixed bug where no asteroids spawn in a certain system
Fixed having to click twice on inventory items for it to register the click
Added so you can access the settings menu from the pause screen
Preparations for the release of a new ship in the next update
Added option to disable music
Improved visuals in the City
Minor other modifications to star systems
Fixed bug where you can have several menus open at the same time

We've gotten some feedback since the release yesterday, and in a few days we aim to release an update adding some new features.
Here's a list of some of them:

Adding sensitivity settings for mouse and headbobbing
Decreasing default headbobbing intensity
Adding so you can board ships, loot them, claim them and sell them
More missions, and adding missions you can perform in space

Early Access Release
We're happy to finally release the early access version of AlterSpace, today on the 23rd of October. We expect the game to remain in Early Access for around 1 year, but we can't tell as of right now. Since the last development update of the game we have additionally added: Improv
