Season Features
Face the Prime Evils in the Seasonal Questline
It is clear that we are facing an Evil difficult to comprehend, let alone combat. There is only one Horadrim sage, schooled in the most arcane history and lore, who can advise us. — Akara
Amid the dead rising from Pandemonium, the lost soul of the legendary Horadrim Deckard Cain returns with dire news. Three dark wanderers have returned, each leaving a trail of death in their wake. Confront them and delve into the nightmares of their horrific past. Only there can you defeat the Prime Evils that torment them and lay their souls to rest.
Complete the Seasonal Questline to collect the three Splinters of Evil by defeating echoes of Diablo beneath Tristram Cathedral, Baal at Arreat Summit, and Mephisto within the Durance of Hate. Choose which Prime Evil’s power to bear, build reputation through the activities associated with that Splinter, and unlock modifiers and upgrades through War Plans. When you’re ready to pursue a different path, return to the largest Waking Nightmares to change the Splinter you wield.
While bearing a Splinter of Evil, you become a dark wanderer yourself. An Iconic Power associated with that Prime Evil will periodically erupt from you during combat, dealing Fire damage for Diablo, Cold damage for Baal, or Physical damage for Mephisto. The Splinter also makes you more vulnerable to its associated Prime Evil. Be warned: what you hunt will stalk you in return.
There will be eight activity modifiers in each rep track, along with six upgrades to the Iconic Power:
Diablo's Splinter of Terror modifies Helltide and Infernal Hordes
Baal's Splinter of Destruction modifies The Undercity and Lair Bosses
Mephisto's Splinter of Hatred modifies The Pit and Nightmare Dungeons
All three modify the Tree of Whispers
While you can only bear one Prime Evil Soul Splinter at a time, there is a mechanism to change. To choose a different Prime Evil reputation track and rewards, acquire another Splinter from the largest Waking Nightmares.
Battle Iconic Enemies in Waking Nightmares
Why did I follow him? I don't know. Why do things happen as they do in dreams? All I know is that, when he beckoned, I had to follow him. — Marius
Waking Nightmares are three types of encounters showing memories and nightmares from key events from Diablo's past. While veteran players will find the settings and encounters familiar, these have been rebuilt with updated visuals and encounters designed for Diablo IV.
The largest Waking Nightmares are multi-level, Capstone-type dungeons that recreate events from historic showdowns with the Prime Evils. You will first encounter these in the Seasonal Questline and will be able to replay these for rewards afterward on Torment levels. Like all Capstones, these have a fixed difficulty level. These will be also available as pinnacle Capstones at Torment 10+, for greater risks and bigger loot.
The second type of Waking Nightmares can also appear as standard-length dungeons that also recreate familiar moments from Diablo's past, such as the Den of Evil from Diablo II. These have fixed locations across the world, just like normal dungeons.
The third and smallest type of Waking Nightmares appear suddenly in the open world. Enter them for a one-room encounter with a past boss like giant spider Queen Araneae, or waves of memorable monsters such as dagger-wielding Flayers.
Bear the Duplicitous Soul Splinters
We are either terribly brave or terribly stupid to be doing this. — Lyndon the Scoundrel
Soul Splinters are special gems for the Season of Hell's Legacy, each associated with powerful demon or artifact. Being demonic in origin, Soul Splinters offer a powerful boon but also carry a liability. You can equip up to three Soul Splinters among available Jewelry slots.
Splinter of Anguish (Andariel)
Splinter of Sin (Azmodan)
Splinter of Lies (Belial)
Splinter of the Black Soulstone
Splinter of Pain (Duriel)
Splinter of the Mother (Lilith)
Splinter of Hellfire (Na-Krul)
Splinter of Damnation (Skarn)
Splinters drop as Magic, Rare, Legendary, or Unique. You can use Amalgamation in the Horadric Cube to upgrade Soul Splinters of the same type and rarity to the next highest rarity.
Endgame Updates
Streamline Progress with Shared War Plans
Chart the course. Where do we strike? — Tyrael
Ever since War Plans were introduced in Lord of Hatred, players have asked for a way to share earned War Plans reputation points across their characters. Starting in Season of Hell's Legacy, points you earn in War Plans for one character will be shared across alts on your account that exist in the same partitions within these categories:
Eternal/Seasonal
Non-Hardcore/Hardcore
Normal/Solo-Self Found
As long as two characters on your account match states in each of these three partitions, they will share War Plans progress. For example, they will share if both are Seasonal Non-Hardcore Non-SSF, but will not share with a Seasonal Non-Hardcore SSF.
Each character sharing War Plans points will have separate planners where they can allocate points, similar to how shared skill or Paragon points work. While they will share War Plans reputation levels and progress, characters each have their own plans to fit their own goals and try out new options.
Your War Plans progress from Season 14 characters will carry over to Eternal when the season changes on September 15. All accumulated War Plans reputation points you've earned on characters within the same partition will carry over to corresponding Eternal characters. These will add together to give you accumulated War Plans progress.
Hardcore players need to be aware that only the War Plans progress of living characters at the end of Season 14 can transfer War Plans points. Season 14 Hardcore characters who die before the Season 15 changeover cannot transfer their War Plans points to Season 15, so only existing live Hardcore characters can transfer their own War Plans progress. It will not pick up War Plans points from deceased characters.
Starting in Season 15, if you want a dead Hardcore character's War Plans progress to transfer to Eternal at the end of the season, you must have one other living Hardcore character in that same partition to go through the seasonal change. It can even be a level 1 "storage" Hardcore character. Once that living character moves to Eternal, it will safely deposit the accumulated points into your Eternal Hardcore War Plans progress.
Customize with Mythic Unique Crafting Updates
I shall make weapons from your bones! — The Smith
While the methods to create Mythic Uniques remain the same, the outcomes are far more deterministic.
Mythic Uniques can be created three ways:
Horadric Cube: Upgrade Direct Item to Mythic
Jeweler: Rune Crafting > Mythic Uniques
Blacksmith: Forge > Mythic Cache
Upgrade Direct Item to Mythic in the Horadric Cube will be more expensive than the recipes through the Blacksmith or Jeweler, but it will also be a total 1:1 transfer. As the name implies, this is a direct transfer to a Mythic state: the random factors are gone. Put in a Tibault's Will with ideal affixes and dialed-in Tempering and Masterworking, and you'll get a Mythic-ized version of that Tibault's Will with all affixes and modifications retained.
The only restriction is that you cannot use this recipe on an Unmodifiable item, so beware of Transfiguring your precious Mythic Unique candidate!
Mythic Uniques created using the powerful Horadric Cube Upgrade Direct recipe will have a Crafted tag. You will be able to equip only one Crafted tag item, but only Mythic Uniques crafted using this recipe will have this tag.
Mythic Uniques created using the Jeweler's Rune Crafting or the Blacksmith's Mythic Unique cache will not have a Crafted tag. Even with having one Crafted tag for Upgrade Direct Item to Mythic, this leaves many options to equip multiple Mythics from both crafted and dropped sources.
Hone Your Gear with New Horadric Cube Crafting Recipes
You have quite a treasure there in that Horadric Cube. — Deckard Cain
Two new recipes are coming to the Horadric Cube in Season 15,giving you more control over unwanted affixes while protecting the traits you want to keep.
Affix Value Reroll allows you to reroll all base affixes on both equipment and Talisman items (Charms and Seals) -- while protecting desirable traits like Greater Affixes, any Enchanted affixes, Tempers, and Transfigurations (as long as that Transfigured item is not Unmodifiable).
Horadric Reroll is a second option for rerolling Charms and Seals, with a few differences. Available for Legendary+ Charms and Seals, Horadric Reroll fully randomizes all base Affixes on Charms and Seals, without touching Set Bonuses or Unique/Mythic charm powers. Unlike Affix Value Reroll, Horadric Reroll will not change the Charm Set Bonus Affixes on Seals – just base Affix.
Legacy Uniques
I used to have a nice ring; it was a really expensive one, with blue and green and red and silver. Don't remember what happened to it, though. — Farnham the Drunk
Season of Hell's Legacy introduces nine legacy Uniques, based on fabled relics of the past. Wield Messerschmidt's Reaver, the axe said to have been borne by Prince Aidan himself when he first drove back Diablo. Bear the fabled Stone of Jordan, a ring so coveted it once served as currency. Or become the caretaker of Henri's Perquisition, the magical focus formed when a cat's curiosity collided with a magical ritual of old.
The following legacy Uniques are being introduced during Season 15, but these are permanent additions to the game available on both Seasonal and Eternal realms. Those marked with (*) are also available as Unique Charms.
All Classes:
Leoric's Crown (Helm)
*Nemesis Bracers (Gloves)
*Stone of Jordan (Ring)
*Squirt's Blouse (Chest - Squirt's Necklace incorporated into a Chest piece)
My dearest Haedrig, Do not feel despair, my love. You did everything you could. — Mira's Letter to Haedrig
The Horadric Post is a new way for the Diablo IV team to deliver rewards and messages directly to your account.
The Horadric Post will occasionally contain important deliveries carrying rewards, supplies, and commemorative items.
This system is one-way, a blessed postal box straight from the ether.
Continue Your Legacy with Rebirth
When I woke up alone, I did not know what had happened. I wrote about it a little. You may read more if you wish. — Eirenna the Enchantress
Rebirth allows you to convert characters from Eternal to Seasonal states, transferring that character to the Seasonal realm and resetting to level 1. Instead of having to create a new character at the start of each season, you'll be able to select an Eternal character to continue their adventures in the Seasonal realm. You will also maintain a running tally of hours played across all that character's Rebirths.
Rebirth keeps all of the following:
Class, name, appearance, and state (Normal or Hardcore)
When saved as part of an ensemble, cosmetic preferences including transmogs and pigments, mounts and accessories, pets, portals, and headstones can also transfer.
Before using Rebirth, move all gear and items from that character into your Eternal stash for safekeeping. You'll receive a warning before you click Rebirth that any retained items will be lost on Rebirth, giving you the option to remove all items or destroy them instead. You won’t be able to use Rebirth until your character has no items left equipped or in personal inventory.

Помимо стандартного издания в Steam доступна Diablo IV: Age of Hatred Collection. В отличие от базовой версии, сборник продаётся по стандартной цене и в текущей распродаже не участвует. В его состав входят Diablo IV, первое дополнение Vessel of Hatred и Lord of Hatred.
Lord of Hatred
Vessel of Hatred.
