What is new?

Level editor translation was updated to include every language from the base game
What was fixed?

Workshop level browser no longer shows incorrect number in the N out of total level amount counter
Workshop level browser filters of Subscribed or My Levels should now work as expected
No more invisible trains for a client of a multiplayer game

The Workshop and Level Editor update is out, and we hope you're already onto new ways to use all the level objectives, industries, stations, goods and resource types, gameplay mechanics and level settings we've been working on.
To celebrate, we are hosting a dedicated level design contest from 1 November to 1 December of 2024. Any completable level can enter and win a prize - one out of three.

Try setting your level completion timer around 60 minutes.
Any other design choices are entirely up to you

The second big update for Train Valley World is finally here, and here's a list of what's inside:

Added Workshop support: level browser, uploading your own levels, sorting system🛠️
Level editor is now accessible through the Workshop menu - with a complete set of features, mechanics, props and multiplayer levels support✍🏻

Three new levels made by our level designers are now available through the Workshop🗺️🗺️🗺️
You can continue playing any level after reaching Victory screen by pressing the Just One More Train... button▶
Trains can now start from any platform of a station if several were built
Added red highlight for objects that will be demolished during rail construction🚩
Signal mode train crashes now leave behind totaled trains that can be either repaired for half the locomotive price or destroyed. Repaired trains retain their order list and hired Specialist, but lose all cargo👨‍🔧
Save / Load system rework
Fixed escaped tutorial messages appearing during wrong levels
Fixed looping animations played when they shouldn't be
Numerous other bugfixes
Find a new button in your game's main menu and don't forget to tell us what you think.

We are uploading another update for Train Valley World today.
What is new?

Signal/Normal mode choice greets you before every campaign session - old toggle at the top on campaign level selection is available too
Turning trains around at stations is now a separate toggleable setting that is available in both modes and can be changed anytime - including mid-level Find a new checkbox under Settings - Gameplay
Campaign levels were rebalanced to address economy changes
Various bugfixes based on your feedback

Firstly, we want to thank you all for your feedback and suggestions on Train Valley World, after reading multiple comments here and on our Discord, we've decided to add a new difficulty level with several gameplay-changing mechanics that you will all be able to experience in our latest update, available right now! Head on over to your library to update!
What is new?

Signal mode: Rail signals, train explosions, and mandatory U-turns at every station.
Both campaign and multiplayer levels were updated for Signal mode compatibility.
Signal mode can be enabled with a toggle on the campaign map. Doing so will disable train ghosting, turning trains around at stations without additional rail loops, and enable train collisions and signal building.
A separate signals tutorial will be available at all times with the '?' button next to the signal placing mode toggle.

This past week since the release was a bit of a wild ride with all your feedback and suggestions :) We've decided to address most pressing improvements we could address in that limited time and are uploading an update for Train Valley World today.
What is new?

We've rebalanced most Tier 1, 2 and 3 locomotives as well as Ohio and August
Right mouse button as well as touchpad are now supported as a way to move your camera
You can now invite your friends to a multiplayer game through Steam
You can now see in-progress games in multiplayer menu
What was fixed?

Camera zooming is now easier to set up and use - it is not FPS-dependent anymore
Scrolling your level with WASD while pressing Shift/Ctrl buttons will not make your camera stuck moving in that direction anymore
Linux users with Proton and SteamOS users now have Steam services working while playing
Technology tree and The Great Stink tutorials should now properly track your actions
You will no longer get stuck in the first tutorial by completing it with 0 stars
Fixed some destructible objects that stopped blocking you when building rails in the first tutorial level
We've added a hint to make the process of saving Curupira (level 6) more transparent
It is no longer possible to assign the same button to two different actions
Yardmaster specialists now work as intended - reassigning them to another train removes additional cars immediately
Multiplayer games will now display chosen player colors instead of defaulting to red and blue
