It's been a while, hasn't it? We're well into the new year and working hard to bring improvements to the game. At the moment we've brought in the following changes:
Localizations
We've added support for Simplified Chinese and Japanese languages. * Please be aware that text-based VFX in the multiplayer modes have not been translated. Audio as well.
Tutorial Update
The tutorial has been reworked to players a more cohesive experience.
Game Progression
Levels are initially locked and are now only unlockable through chronological gameplay (I know, duh!)
Additional Fixes
- Added physics to round butt in the menu's - Updated the controls asset in the solo tutorial to reflect the solo controls - Fixed an overlapping issue on a Heart Butt skin - Fixed an issue causing the text in the level select to overlap on specific languages - Fixed an issue causing text in the pause menu to appear at different sizes in specific languages - Fixed an issue resulting in the title in the shop appearing stretched in Chinese (Simple) - Fixed an issue causing the coin counter to display an incorrect value - Fixed an issue causing the death box in the tutorial not to spawn - Fixed an issue causing the inverted butt to have transparent skins

After months of withstanding slander, Mr. Stepper has taken it upon himself to clear his name. At one point, the non-believers had dubbed him Mr. Step-Aside and he just couldn't take it anymore.
Now back to reclaim his glory in the land of Buttopia, Mr. Stepper embarks on a journey of self-discovery. How will he rise back to the top when Mr. Studdley refuses to face him in the ring again? Watch him go against his colleagues and possibly put them to shame or will the rumors of his downfall be proven true?

We’ve heard your cries and we know it gets pretty lonely in Buttopia, but fear not. HotBunz has gone multiplayer!
That’s right, you’re now able to fart it off against other people with our spanking new VS Mode! While not necessarily a big secret, the mode’s been available for all to see on our Home Screen but has been inaccessible. The guys here at SpaceSalad have been slaving away, joyfully so, ensuring they deliver all the multiplayer thrills.
This comes with a barrage of other updates, such as *checks notes*:
A King of The Hill Update. Get The Key, and survive as long as you can while others try to steal it from you.
A new level.
An infamous store known as The Booty Hole (working title),

We’re excited to announce that we’ll be participating in the upcoming Steam Next Fest. Yeah, we know - “But there’s no demo available yet”. Well *tsk tsk*, we’ll be launching a Steam exclusive demo just in time. Not promising anyone anything here, but… the team’s been promising me a VS mode and I thought I’d let you know (the things I do for you guys).
We’ll talk more about VS mode another time, but we’re also looking into a whole lot more features in anticipation of Steam’s Next Fest.HotBunz is a beaut, a beaut we know you’ll thoroughly enjoy. That’s why being a part of Next Fest is so ideal for us. We’ll get to have you guys play and hopefully give us valuable feedback (personally? I’m begging you guys).
