This year, Santa wanted to bring you a Frog-ot update! Complete with bug fixes, a winter re-skin, and new lore! I know I told many of you I was never planning on revisiting this game but, peer pressure is a wonderful motivator lol. This will probably be the final patch this game gets. I know it’s not a perfect game, and it never will be, but it was the first video game I ever made! I learned how to use unity and code along the way, and I have no intention on ever making this polished and perfect. Instead, I am using my new found love for game making to work on a sequel (Something that WILL be polished and perfect!) So please, until I can give you more, enjoy the following new features :)
Quality of Life Improvements
- A mouse sensitivity slider in the main game
- No more motion blur
- Photosensitivity warning
- Overall optimization (to help with crashing)
- No more yeeting horror house objects (rip)
- Horror house objects easier to find
- Tried to look into the mysterious stairs glitch. Could not recreate, but I tried to fix colliders anyway. PLEASE let me know if anyone still experiences this!
New Content/Lore (for those who have already played the game)
- New paintings
- New notes
- New super secret cutscene after disobedient ending
- Winter re-skin (very important, much lore)
While I would love to do more with the game, I really do want to spend my energy towards working on the new game. It has already been in production for almost a year now, and I would be lucky to finish it by 2026 (tough to make games when I have like, a regular job too lmao). So!
