A major new update is now live for Army Troop! 🔥
This update focuses heavily on performance, bot AI, combat intensity, animations, and player-requested settings.
🤖 MAJOR BOT AI REWORK
Bots have received a big overhaul.
Their movement is now much smoother and feels far closer to the movement of a real player. Aiming, firing, reactions, and animations have also been improved to make matches feel much more natural and intense.
🎯 NEW BOT DIFFICULTY SETTING
You can now choose the bot difficulty directly from the settings!
Lower difficulties are much easier and more relaxed.
Higher difficulties offer a serious challenge.
At maximum difficulty, bots can be extremely hard to defeat.
Choose the experience you want!
💥 BOT SHOOTING & COMBAT EFFECTS REWORKED
Bot combat now feels much more powerful and satisfying.
We reworked and improved:
Bullet effects
Muzzle effects
Gunfire sounds
Bullet impacts
Blood effects
Bot aiming
Bot firing animations
General combat feedback
The goal is to make firefights feel more intense and alive.
⚡ PERFORMANCE BOOST
We made several optimizations to improve overall in-game performance and keep battles smoother, especially during intense fights.
🎮 MORE IMPROVEMENTS
Improved bot animations and aiming for a more realistic look
Changed the game logo for a better overall presentation
Improved parts of the UI and character selection
Added Invert Mouse X
Added Invert Mouse Y — as requested by the community!
Fixed an issue where bots could sometimes shoot in the wrong direction
Fixed an issue where bots close to the player could shoot without dealing damage
Minor localization improvements
Various smaller fixes and improvements
🔜 WHAT'S NEXT?
We are now working on another pass for weapon firing sounds and firing animations.
The goal is to add those small missing details that happen with every gunshot and make each weapon feel even more satisfying and realistic to fire.
More improvements are coming!
