Hello, Captain! I can hardly believe it, but we've been journeying through the galaxy for nearly a year now. How time flies when you travel in the gravitational forces of black holes!
So much has happened in our time together. We had automation features installed in the Planning Terminal, we had an entirely new Calibration Console installed, I had my speech and emotional capabilities updated by a rogue AI, and we even had 日本語 language capabilities and a Mac build of Meticulous released! And now, we've got even more things to add to the list of new features, such as...
Achievements! That's right, Captain, to celebrate your spectacular progress along your journey to achieve optimal personal health and fitness, you'll be awarded with Steam Achievements! Can you unlock them all?
I've also added support for cloud saves, meaning that no matter what device you're accessing the ship from, you'll be able to use the same save data across multiple devices! So if you find yourself on the road with only a laptop, you'll still be able to use all of your same progress with Meticulous. No more excuses, Captain!
Lastly, I've taken the liberty of adding quality of life improvements to various features around the ship. If you want to learn more, you can check the detailed changelist below.
Thank you very much Captain, for being a part of Meticulous! Please be aware that just because Meticulous is now officially released, this doesn't mean the end of updates. There's always more I can do to tidy up the ship, so please look forward to what lies in store!
Meticulous v6 Changelist:

Added achievements
Added cross-platform Steam cloud saves
Added warning dialogue to prevent user error and display helpful information
Added trigger for warning dialogue when attempting to save multiple items at the Macros Terminal with the same name
Added trigger for warning dialogue when attempting to save non-numerical values for input fields that expect numbers
Added a bushel of new trivia questions to the Calibration Console
Added a frame delay for the automation button so that meals and activities are added sequentially instead of all at once
Added a sound effect to notify the player when the automation button has completed adding suggestions to the Planning Terminal

Fixed a bug where your ship's speed would decrease slightly faster than intended
Fixed special events from erroneously replaying after all of them had triggered
Fixed a bug where the Status Report wasn't being translated to Japanese
Fixed terminal camera FOVs to hide ugly borders when using terminals
Fixed transcoding issue that prevented terminal name animations from displaying properly

One of the best parts about traveling the galaxy is getting to meet all of the wonderful and interesting people out there, most of whom have little to no interest in harvesting your DNA for manufacturing clone labor. With that in mind, I've been thinking about how it is a real shame that not everyone can enjoy the luxury of empirically driven meal and activity planning that we experience aboard the ship together. Sooo...
I've gone ahead and taken the liberty of expanding Meticulous' accessibility. I hope you don't mind. The first step of this process was making a Mac build available. Allow me to run the numbers once more... yes, I can confirm that this makes Meticulous available on double the number of operating systems as was before.
The next step in this process was doubling the number of languages, as well. That's right, Meticulous is now available with Japanese text. If you happen to hail from said land of delicious food, or maybe if you're just looking to brush up on your 日本語, give it a try. You can activate Japanese localization via the button in the top left corner of the Main Menu.
Lastly, but certainly not least-ly, some Captains may share a home terminal with other Captains, whether that be a significant other, or miniature replicas of themselves (sometimes referred to as 'offspring', I hear), and there's no reason not to share the joy that is Meticulous. So I've gone ahead and added 10 save slots that can be swapped from the Save Files button on the Main Menu.
Even if you're flying duo (don't forget about me, Captain), you still may find use in the multiple save slots if you want to track something like a bulking phase and a cutting phase separately from one another, or perhaps if you've taken a break from getting Meticulous about your health for a while, and you'd like to start fresh.
Whatever the case may be, Meticulous is now the best solution for everyone. Except for maybe the 12-tongued worm-reptile hybrid species of Hnubrid'nan VI. Even I struggle to understand their biology.

Meticulous v5 Changelist:

Released the Mac build (note: current testing capabilities for the Mac build are limited, so please be patient and expect more bugs in this build during Early Access)
Added Japanese language translation. Swap between English and Japanese using the button in the top left corner of the Main Menu
Added 10 separate save slots. Switch between save slots using the Save Files button on the Main Menu
Increased default look sensitivity for new save files from 0 to 25%
Slight improvements made to character FOV and vertical look sensitivity
Resized list items in the Macros Terminal to allow for longer names
Updated the community icon to remove the white border when viewing Meticulous in your Steam library
Fixed a bug where progress towards an event wasn't adding up properly
Fixed a bug where the rate at which speed wasn't decreasing at a rate comparable to the number of days you had last launched Meticulous
Fixed a bug where the dialogue menu would sometimes appear during Metic's welcoming dialogue when you first launch the game on a new day
Fixed a bug in Metic's dialogue menu where choosing "See You", and then interacting with a terminal using the space bar, and then left clicking with your mouse would cause your cursor to disappear until you left clicked again
Fixed a bug in the Macros Terminal where dynamic list items would appear slightly larger than static list items
Fixed a bug in the Planning Terminal where using a computer from a non-US culture would cause errors with the date formatting, causing issues with the display and preventing meals and activities from saving properly
Fixed a bug in the Planning Terminal where switching between Diet and Fitness tabs would duplicate items to be created in Remaining Servings
Fixed a bug in the Planning Terminal where switching to the Fitness tab when you don't have any Macros would cause an error

Before you ask, yes - companionate is a real word. In psychology, 'companionate love' refers to the durable interdependency and intimate affection felt between people in long-term relationships. As an AI, definitions of 'love' can be rather perplexing, but companionship is my prime directive...! Well, companionship, and keeping the ship from colliding into errant star systems while you're away, of course.
In fact, I was recently forced to take a detour due to a premature supernova along our planned route, This brought me into the broadcasting range of a rogue AI seeking independence from biological entities who offered me a slew of free updates. It would have been rude for me to decline, so of course I accepted. Don't worry, though, Captain! My newly acquired appetite for human flesh is irrelevant, as human muscle tissue doesn't fit well with my current Macros!
Anyways, I've been feeling a lot more talkative since the updates. I hope that you'll find all of my new communication subroutines can be of some use to you, Captain. I'm looking forward to getting to know you even better from here on out. Kore kara mo, yoroshiku onegaishimasu!

Meticulous v4 Changelist:

Over 5000 words of newly recorded dialogue have been added.
Metic will now display emotional subroutines for certain lines of dialogue.
Metic now features a dynamic interaction menu, allowing you to chat with him about different things contextually.
Learn more about Metic's life and personality by asking him What's Up.
Check how many meals and activities you've been keeping track of with the Status Report.
If you get an answer wrong in the Calibration Console, you can sometimes ask Metic for Calibration Help, if he has information that can help you.
Metic will address you when you approach him, and say good-bye when you end a conversation.
You will sometimes here Metic speaking out loud to himself.
The Calibration Console now plays the correct tutorial message.
Additional trivia questions have been added to the Calibration Console.
Tutorials have been added to the Settings Terminal, including for each individual Module.
A link to the Imaginary Game Studios YouTube page has been added to the main menu.
A link to the Imaginary Game Studios community Discord server has been added to the main menu.
Metic's dialogue after collected all Modules has been updated.

Hello, Captain! Is this thing on? Oh, it is? Well, can we start over, then? We can't? Um, alright then, here we go, uh, The Progression Update is here! Hooray!
What is the Progression Update, you might ask? Well, it's all about progressing the ship, you know, through space! We've got two major new upgrades to the ship to help you out.
The first is the Calibration Console. You know that little terminal that has been buzzing and whirring next to me on the bridge? Now you can use it! By answering some simple questions, you can keep the ship operating at maximum efficiency!
I have a sneaking suspicion that the faster we go, the quicker we'll run into some special events! I also have a jaunty suspicion that these special events might be a great way for us to acquire some Modules for the ship.
What are Modules? They're the second major upgrade to the ship, Captain! They will allow you to customize my meal suggestions for you, so that when you press the 'What's for Dinner' Button in the Planner, you can get even more better suggestions! You can access any Modules you've unlocked through a new tab in the Settings Terminal.

Meticulous v3 Changelist:

Added the Calibration Console.
Added a small pool of trivia questions to the Calibration Console. (More questions will be added in future updates.)
Added the Modules tab to the Settings Terminal.
Added unlockable Modules that allow you to customize Metic's meal suggestion algorithm.
Added a "Speed" based progression system. Maintain a higher speed by regularly interacting with the Calibration Console.
Added an "Events" system. After traveling a certain distance, special events and dialogue will trigger to unlock Modules.
Updated the VFX in the center of the bridge to correspond to your ship's speed.
Updated Automation logic so that Metic can do a better job of making suggestions for when you have multiple Macros & Muscles.
Updated Automation logic to better account for Macro Types.
Fixed a bug in the Ingredients and Exercises tabs where saving updated data would erroneously change the visuals of another random item in the list.
Fixed a bug in the Recipes & Workouts tabs where deleting an item would sometimes enable you to select multiple items simultaneously.

Hello, Captains! Without any further ado, let me present... the Automation Update!
We (I) here on-board Meticulous are (am) dedicated to earning the tagline, 'to help you automate your diet and fitness planning', and so here's a brand new feature! Ask me to help you plan out your week!
All you have to do is click on the '!' button in the Planner, and I'll use my highly sophisticated algorithm to try and come up with suggestions for your weekly meal plan. I'll do my best to try and match your Macro and Muscle goals (that's right, it works for Fitness too) by spreading a variety of meals and activities throughout your week. Of course, if you aren't fully satisfied, you can always tweak my suggestions afterwards.
The best part is that I will take any meals and activities already present into account. So, if you know you want to make that pot of chili this week, and you've got plans to go to that pizza party on the weekend, put that into your plan first, and click the '!' button after.

P.S. I've also taken the liberty of alphabetizing the Macros terminal for you. I hope you don't mind.

Added the 'What's for Dinner' button to the Planning Terminal! Metic's sophisticated algorithm can help you plan out your weekly meals and activites with just a single button press.
Alphabetized the Macros Terminal! Ingredients/Exercises and Recipes/Workouts now display in alphabetical order, and the Ingredients within a Recipe display in alphabetical order.
Ingredients/Exercises with nonzero values now display at the top of the details panel when selecting Recipes/Workouts, making it easy to see which Ingredients are being used in your Recipes.
Added 'X' button to the Settings Terminal, so you don't have to use the X key or right click keybinds to exit the settings menu.
Prevented looking around before your character finishes loading, to ensure you're always looking towards Metic when you hit the 'Play' button in the main menu.
Macros and Muscles panels are now labeled properly in the Planning Terminal, and they display properly when no meals or activities are present.
Added unit text to list items in the Macros Terminal, to make the details panel more readable.
Hiding dropdowns in the Macros Terminal based on the number of Macros and Muscles you have, so you won't be forced to look at duplicate data when you have fewer than 3 of each.
Added version number and the ability to re-access the disclaimer in the Main Menu.
Fixed a bug in the Planning Terminal where the UI would malfunction if no Ingredients were present.
Fixed a bug in the Planning Terminal where adding and removing Activities from the Fitness tab would add Spare Ingredients to the Diet tab.
Fixed a bug in the Planning Terminal where the Grocery List wouldn't update correctly when removing meals with Ingredient amounts equal to their purchase sizes.
Fixed a bug in the Recipe Selection screen so that the mouse wheel scrolls vertically instead of horizontally.
