we're not gonna beat around the bush. Recent post on our social media was true and Tonda (Producer of Last Holiday) is leaving the team. But we're not dwelling on the past and focusing on the future to start a new phase of Boomer Games and Last Holiday.
We firmly believe that even after a not-so-successful start, we can pull the game into the form that was intended from the beginning. This of course involves repairing the reputation and trust that has unfortunately been tarnished by our lack of communication and internal problem solving. For this and the state of the game at launch, we sincerely apologize,we did the best we could, but it was not enough.
We are currently getting our act together, preparing the next steps and then we will get to work. We will communicate this process regularly as it gets underway and will strive for maximum transparency.
That's all from our side for now. We believe that in the future we will get the game back on its feet and that all the fans who have put their trust in us will eventually be able to enjoy a great game from a rural setting.
Keep your fingers crossed for us, we believe that we'll get the reboot right and we'll do our best to make it happen!

It's here. We too have succumbed to the summer sale madness on STEAM. Currently, Last Holiday is available at a 33% discount as part of the STEAM SUMMER SALE, which runs until July 13. And it's worth it.
As Slávek would say, if you don't buy during the sale, you won't save. That makes sense, doesn't it?
On the day of release, the game wasn't in the best condition. We acknowledge that. But we've worked hard to not disappoint our loyal fans. Since the release, we have released three major patches that fixed numerous bugs and focused on optimization.
What's next? Within the next few weeks, another optimization and bug-fix patch will be released. And then? Then we'll finally start adding content to the game as promised. We already have about 7 additional missions recorded, and we'll gradually release them. Additionally, we'll introduce new gameplay mechanics. You really have something to look forward to. The game will be awesome, that's for sure!
And now, here's a list of fixes, features, and optimizations we added in the past month through three major updates.
Optimizations
- TLDR: We worked on reducing RAM consumption, resulting in a decrease of 1-5 GB depending on the graphics settings. We also increased draw distance, FPS, and stabilized the game.

- Smaller items falling through the floor in the garage
- Loading the game erased the left candle
- "Continue" or "Continue in Main Menu" button after death didn't load the latest save
- Saves were not sorted correctly on the LOAD screen
- Fuel tank and arm disappeared after loading the game
- Wheels and wheel caps disappeared after loading the game
- Box with candles disappeared after loading the game
- Player's position was not saved during loading, resulting in appearing at Demeter's place without a tractor
- Occasionally unable to talk to grandpa after delivering groceries to grandma

We're nearing the release of Last Holiday in early access and have a few little things to say. Firstly, we are extremely grateful for the interest and support many of you have shown for our game. The entire team is eager to continue the development of this game and wants all of you players to experience it in its full glory when it's finished.
With that said, this will be early access and since this is the first game we've ever worked on, it should be noted that it's going to be a bit of a bumpy start. We've attached a roadmap below that outlines our studio's future steps and a roadmap for the game's gradual expansion.
We also attach a link to a feedback form, which you can use to communicate your feelings about the game and report bugs directly to the development team. Don't be afraid to mention anything you have to say, as this is how you can convey your hopes and wishes for the game to be the best it can be!
We hope that you enjoy everything we currently have available and that you satisfy your desire to return to the year 2000 in the village and experience the story of a young "good sage"

It's been hinted and teased for a long time, however D-Day is coming and with it not only the reveal of the release date, but also the Last Holiday trailer. The whole team already has calluses on their fingertips, but we're hanging in there and finishing early access as best we can. You can now watch the trailer on hopefully all social media including YouTube and of course here on Steam. The game will be released on 18.5 in Early Access at 18:05 and we hope you will enjoy the whole game immensely!
You can see a lot in the trailer. From sipping specific beer, smoking cigarettes, exploring the village, to building a car... What more can you ask for from a relaxing game that doesn't want to annoy anyone and will definitely hold you by hand throughout the game. For the whole team, this is just the first step of Last Holiday, and of course we're planning lots of bombastic stuff and ways to get the community fired up after the early access release.
Of course, we'll also be releasing more news that will bring the rest of the game's aspects closer to EA's release, so be sure to keep an eye on our social networks!

As we are gradually approaching Q2, you can probably expect some announcement of release date and trailer. Definitely don't worry about being left out! Everything is on track, and we'll make the announcement in true style on twitch.tv on Herdyn's channel, who invited our boys straight to the WOLE show!
The schedule is going to be really packed and right in the WOLE show we'll show the full trailer, announce the release date and probably even let Herdyn play one of the missions so you'll see some real gameplay already! All this action will take place on April 6, 2023 HERE.
On our social media we are now posting and introducing the different characters. Only a few characters have been shown so far and we want to show the visual style of the game, which was carefully built under the influence of Braník and Drownings (Czech treat for big boys). As a preview, we're adding Demeter, who will be working in the local collection center. Players will not only be selling iron at his shop, but also buying parts for the troublemakers!
However, keep in mind that we are releasing in early access and the whole game is not yet final. We'll be gradually adding content, story, gameplay mechanics and beautifying the whole game to make it a real blockbuster that will delight domestic players!

The development of Last Holiday continues and we have some news to share that might be of interest to players. One of the updates we are working on is the inclusion of the V3S poop truck and the voted Felicia and Skoda 100 cars in the game. These cars have been selected by the community and will be added to the game.
As we are also getting closer to release, we need to fine tune all aspects of the game beyond the basic gameplay. Over the past few weeks we have added achievements to steam that sometimes have quite interesting names and substance. Without spoilers, you can look forward to achievements such as Aquackman, HE'S TURNING!, He Who Does Not Play Does Not Live, and Point Master. Some of the achievements will require not only skill, but also a good dose of luck and time, so even collectors of these virtual awards have something to look forward to!
The second new feature will be more of a gamer's experience, and those who remember the legendary races in the GTA:SA series will not be disappointed by the village-style racing. It's not for nothing that they say that domestic DIYers can create anything, anywhere, and it's no different in Bzhany. Of course, the races won't have traditional horses and jockeys and we'll just hint that apart from the fat winnings from betting, the last racer will be quite hot.
Finally, we include a little teaser. As we're gradually approaching the second quarter of 2023, we're going to release another video preview of the game. So keep an eye on our social networks to make sure you don't miss anything!

As many of you may have already noticed, a closer release date for the Last Holiday Early Access has been announced! After much deliberation, the second quarter of this year, between April and June, has finally been decided. We don't want to reveal the exact date yet in case of industrial sabotage, a meteorite crashing on Europe, or contact with an alien civilization.
As for the current development, we have dubbed all the characters and are gradually starting to implement the voiceovers into the game. The game as such is already taking shape, despite the fact that in recent weeks there have been a lot of sports broadcasts that have fallen victim to several bass beers.
