The Miracle gives birth to a new child, as The Game Kitchen and Laced Records bear forth the hallowed soundtrack for Blasphemous II on blessed vinyl.
All music has been specially mastered for vinyl and will be pressed to heavyweight discs. The first three discs cover the complete base game OST, while the final disc contains curated selections from the Mea Culpa and The Third Sin DLC soundtracks. Bespoke slipcase cover artwork is by illustrator Álvaro Jiménez, while inner sleeve artwork is by The Game Kitchen’s Jesús Campos "Nerkin".
The music of Blasphemous II does more than just colour the setting: it breathes life into it. Rousing marches, elegiac laments, and processional dirges echo out from crumbling cathedrals and across blasted landscapes, creating the sense of a world that feels truly lived in.
Throughout, composer Carlos Viola filters his own experiences of visceral Flamenco performances and devotional music through the lens of gothic fantasy. “Corona de Siete Azahares” soars from the parapets of high towers, buffeted by dueling guitars and propulsive snare rolls. “Del Santo Nombre” in contrast provides a moment of quiet introspection, forlorn piano melodies creeping across flagstones while looming strings cast long shadows.
Perhaps the most surprising moments come in the form of Viola’s choice of boss fight themes, for instance with the Lynchian ambience of “Cante Desde Lo Profundo”; or the ever-increasing percussive intensity of “Súbita Caligrafía dºe Plata”.

Greetings, Sinners!
Repent. The path of penance stretches ever onward. Return to Cvstodia today in a FREE new expansion for Blasphemous II!
Blasphemous II: The Third Sin takes place within a huge and foreboding gothic castle that’s a quarter of the size of the entire Blasphemous II and Mea Culpa world maps combined.
The Third Sin Free Expansion Adds:
📿 New map/area to explore (¼ size of the entire Blasphemous II map, including Mea Culpa)
📿 One new Boss
📿 New enemies
📿 New weapon – Blade Tipped Whip
📿 New prayers
📿 Unlockable outfits
📿 Boss Gallery
📿 New gameplay experience – three Familiars
📿 Six additional music tracks
📿 Five new achievements/trophies
Blasphemous II: The Third Sin challenges you to explore and overcome a part of Cvstodia that once served as a refuge for the nobles, until The Miracle wrought devastation within the castle walls.
Set across the fortress’s meandering halls, twisting towers, cavernous library, and dank crypt, the expansion also features a gallery allowing players to replay previous bosses, and introduces a new gameplay experience in the form of three Familiars - magical entities that accompany The Penitent One, supporting them in both combat and exploration.
Added to your armoury is a new weapon, a blade-tipped whip, enhancing The Penitent One’s move set with a series of standard and special attacks to vanquish foes into dust.
Blasphemous II: The Third Sin also includes new prayers, unlockable outfits, *five new achievements/trophies, and an additional six music tracks by series composer Carlos Viola to further immerse players into the castle’s uneasy ambience.
Available to download now on PC (Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store), XBOX Series X/S and Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch. Coming to PlayStation 4 at a later date.

Greetings Sinners! It is truly a most blessed day, as the Balance and True Torment Patch has arrived! Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this patch!
The main focus of this patch is adjusting the way that the True Torment Mode works. Ascending your save file and starting again will let you keep your weapons (including Mea Culpa), Figures, Prayers, Rosary Beads (with minimal exceptions) and a small number of other items. This will only work on saves that are Ascended after the new update. Existing saves will instead be updated to automatically include the new Ultimate Torment challenge.
Ultimate Torment is a new challenge that is selectable when you Ascend your save. Selecting it will remove your weapons, Figures, Prayers and Rosary Beads, as it did by default before the update. This challenge cannot be turned off midway through your playthrough, so choose carefully!
We have also added further file selection options when you Ascend a save, so that you are less likely to delete your save data.
As we have changed the way that True Torment works, we have significantly rebalanced enemies, bosses and individual challenges when playing on an Ascended save.
Here are the other bugfixes and adjustments introduced in this patch:
Fixed a softlock that triggered when the player would try to hand in more Lumps of Gold than was required
Fixed an issue where the player would sometimes receive damage multiple times from one source
Fixed an issue where defeating certain bosses and dying at the same time would cause softlocks
Adjusted the hitbox of several bosses to better reflect their visual attacks
Fixed some typos and mistranslations in Chinese languages
Fixed an issue where the Consummate Collector achievement would not trigger when it should do in certain circumstances
Adjusted the text for the Consummate Collector achievement to better explain how to obtain it
Fixed a crash on Steam Deck when viewing the tutorial videos for the Mea Culpa
Fixed an issue where the Golden Bile Flask would not work as expected on an Ascended save
Fixed an issue with The Flagellant’s effects not happening straight away
Fixed some overlapping issues with the Dyslexia font
Fixed an issue where hitting a Bell of Resonance would not trigger its effect in some instances
Fixed an issue with the Cherub counter not updating as it should do
Fixed an issue where True Torment challenges would sometimes not save their difficulty values
Fixed an issue where the Lump of Gold tracker image would stay on the screen if you teleported away whilst it was displayed
Fixed and adjusted numerous damage values with all weapons
Fixed an issue where the Silver Nail could trigger earlier than intended
Fixed an issue where you could “float/hover” using Mea Culpa’s abilities
Fixed an issue where the players could sometimes escape the map in certain areas
Fixed a consistency issue with Martinete of Forge and Thunder
Fixed an issue where opening the map after loading a save file would sometimes cause the player to lose input
Fixed an issue where you would not be able to obtain your Guilt Fragment in certain rooms after dying
Fixed several animation issues when triggering abilities at certain times
Fixed an issue where some SFX and Music would not trigger when Ascending a save file
Fixed an issue where SFX and music would not play when fighting Odon of the Brotherhood of Salt
Adjusted some of the resonances so that their categories match up more appropriately and trigger as expected
Fixed an issue where the Screaming Widow’s attack would stay on screen after it was defeated
Fixed an issue where the cost of upgrading your Altarpiece capacity was not shown to the player
Fixed an issue where the Piercing Retribution counterattack may miss the enemy
Adjusted the placements of the Lamp Ghost enemy
Adjusted the locations of certain options in the main menu
Fixed an issue where Chisel-Engraved Wounds would emit sounds in rooms where it shouldn’t do so
