Added new game mode Curated Battles, basically a bunch of set piece battles or generated skirmish battles. You can and should save whatever you like from them to use in your own skirmish battles.
Added a bunch of changes to hopefully make the game more new player friendly. Such as locks in the calibration campaign, so players have to beat easier difficulty levels before advancing. And a recommend unit button for the arcade mode, that will create a unit and shot for you to beat the stage. The recommended unit is very basic but should get you through the arcade, you are of course encouraged to customize the unit to your heart’s content should you feel like it.

Added Mage spectator, now whenever you died or press the possess key, you possess a mage spectator from which you can either watch the battle or possess another one of your teams units.
Added Player Auto Aim. While not recommended, its preferable to stack health in your favor, it allows you to fire at targets using the same method the AI uses. Useful if your fighting against harder AI’s without using the laser shot.
Added more Animations. Anything with a 2D at the end means it only has animations for a 2D plane, namely forward back and left and right. The character with a 2D animation will not react changes in height. Whereas a 3D animation changes the position of the legs when going up or down.

And the maximum power level of the arcade.
Why Magocracy Experimentation is no longer in early access.
When I made the early access page last year I didn’t realize how far I would get by this time. If you remember the early access description, my future plans for development were basically finishing up the arcade mode. Which is now done with the release of Version 0.8.
Added the ability to select your own custom colors using a color wheel to all parts of the character in the character customization screen. Added various pauldrons. Added basic color choices to new meshes.

Fixed sound not changing tracks correctly. This was caused by the construct in the music player having a fixed album and track number which overrode the spawned values, so I was stuck with the same music all the time.

Biggest changes: Added a 3d radar to the upper left of the player screen. The radar extends to 10x the unit speed and tracks friendly and enemy positions. Added a selected target direction to the upper middle of the screen. This only shows up if the target is not on screen. It should help players keep track of the target during high speed fights.
Minor changes: For large projectiles changed from a shaded transparent material to a Tron like material where the edges are emitters but the center is clear. Hopefully will help players see the target better when using projectiles larger than 1 m radius.
