The game's gone through a lot of changes.
If you've been with us since its early days on our devlog, you'd probably remember how the game evolved over time. We tried really hard to bring something fresh to Steam. Check out our digital art book for more details on how the concept was developed from the beginning.
But, the most exciting part of 1.0 is Multiple Endings
A lot of you might have wondered how this game will play out. Enjoy making choices that leads to different endings. And every time you replay the game, you'll get a better idea of the individual stories connecting the dots in the major plot.

TOBOR is an experimental story-based surveillance simulation game where the player plays as Tobor, a spy robot of RA Corporation, and explore ‘Undercroft’ using a surveillance system. Depending on the many choices that the player makes, players can enjoy not only changing the sto
TOBOR is an experimental story-based surveillance simulation game where the player plays as Tobor, a spy robot of RA Corporation, and explore ‘Undercroft’ using a surveillance system. Depending on the many choices that the player makes, players can enjoy not only changing the story inside the surveillance feeds, but also experience multiple endings.
The game was inspired by New York experimental theatre “Sleep No More”.
While the objective of Tobor is to observe the inhabitants, there is much revealed along the way of what connections undercroft has with a character named Dr. Goralini. The gamer gathers intelligence by eavesdropping and scanning objects and uses their wits to make choices throughout the game leading to a different ending. The player is given 6 days to accomplish their given mission. The official release will reveal all the endings of the game.

- New Intro Cinematics We've got a lot of feedback that the old intro didn't give a sense of what was happening, so we've basically redone it! Check!
- Enhanced Onboarding Experience We've noticed that many players had difficulties in understanding how the game works early on, especially with changing channels and also turning on the TV broadcast run by Stella. Hence, we've made improvements to facilitate the early game experience with better elaborations of the basic controls. Check!
- Separating Spy Journal & Spy Manual(Tutorial) We've noticed that we had too much information in the file folder. Pretty much everyone skipped through it. So, we've taken measures to separate it into a Spy Journal and a Spy tutorial. The Spy Journal will keep track of the activities the player experiences as a log. The Spy Manual will focus more on learning how to use the surveillance system with simple instructions of the short-keys that will help you learn the game early on. This way, we hope that players can hop on and focus on your mission as a spy. Check.
- New Mechanism for Interventions We've created a new puzzle game for those instances where you can interfere with the events inside the surveillance camera. During these moments of intervention, now the player can explore the actual rooms with a lot more to click and solve. Check.
- Improved Storytelling We've taken actions to improve the storytelling inside the surveillance camera. We noticed that there was just too much information for the player to digest while the feeds were running simultaneously, so we've made it easier for you to distinguish between the information that is important and the information that can be disregarded. This includes improved text dialogs, scan objects and the keywords associated with the information that is required to derive conclusions you want to report back to HQ. Check.
- VO's Finally, we had the time to implement the VO's played by amazing actors and actresses. We are really happy how the voices make the game more interactive and way more fun to play delivering so much more concept and vibe. You'll get a better feel of the characters like the contact, phone calls and Stella's morning news! Check.
- Of Course, Minor Bug Fixes! We've fixed minor bugs, including camera issues, SFX, and animations.
