With the Varmint Update you can:
Collect special Varmint furs that transform you into different critters! Become a Cat With A Gun, a Raccoon With A Gun, a Possum With A Gun, and many more!
Do battle with sentient Trash Monsters that appear around the neighborhood.
Explore 4 new bunkers with 10 golden acorns and exotic Varmint Furs. Please note that some of these are outdoor bunkers.
Play a deadly game of Red-Light-Green-Light, climb a gigantic stone squirrel statue, or run around a rat's giant cage that's more sinister than it appears.
Go on a neighborhood-wide egg hunt for another fabulous furry prize!
New Game Plus is now also available, too! You can replay cutscenes with any outfit and level up your Reload Wheels beyond a single play through's limits. Additionally, every New Game Plus you start will gives you an extra max bullet for every gun. Try out our venerable Varmint Update today!

Which means it's time for surprise DLC!
The DLC includes:

A new unlockable neighborhood area called "Pride Street"
8 new pride-themed garments! (5 are T-Shirts with different patterns)
A rainbow car spawner. This is not a new item per se, but the rainbow car was previously only accessible as a very rare spawn, or in the Super Platforming challenge!
A new driving challenge on a rainbow road which can only be driven on with the rainbow car.
A pride-themed tank, unlocked after the rainbow road challenge is completed.
Unlocking the tank leads to a gauntlet of agents to defeat.
PLUS:
A button that can activate "pride mode" which:

Opens the pride street neighborhood area.
Allows access to the tank.
Changes the flags around the neighborhood to various pride-themed flags.
Gives your throwing reticle a rainbow effect.

Tackle the new Super Platforming Challenge as you reach new heights navigating the cyclone debris to take on the new boss. But keep a sharp eye—those pesky agents are very motivated to take you out before you get there!
The fight against Ratatoskr is quite unlike the vehicle-based bosses you've faced before. The mythical squirrel moves fast, has a variety of ranged and melee attacks, and is a considerably smaller target! Fortunately, you will be granted a special SMG with a magazine of infinite bullets for the occasion.
Though it is a disputed feature among historians, we wanted our adaptation of Ratatoskr to make use of a horn/tusk in combat. It can use the horn/tusk as a devastating frontal attack, or drill into the ground and burst out from under the player. It can even grow in size and be used as a melee weapon.
Our hero squirrel is not one to comprehend intricacies like blocking and dodging, but it definitely knows a thing or two about shooting! Using the gun and quick reflexes, you will be able to block and even deflect attacks back at Ratatoskr.

Cauldron outfit (a la Getting Over It) as a reward for beating the Super Platformer with less than 5 deaths

Divine Norse Squirrel, awarded for beating Ratatoskr 3x and then a 4th time, where he will be gold and more difficult

Introducing the all-new Photo Mode!
Squirrel With A Gun's Photo Mode allows players (Squirrels) to take a screenshot of whatever zany situation you have managed to pause. In "Cam Adjust" mode , you will be able to freely move and turn the camera and even give it a "dutch" angle for dramatic effect. Players can also
Squirrel With A Gun's Photo Mode allows players (Squirrels) to take a screenshot of whatever zany situation you have managed to pause.
In "Cam Adjust" mode, you will be able to freely move and turn the camera and even give it a "dutch" angle for dramatic effect. Players can also zoom in/out the camera's Field of View (FoV) to fit your needs.
In "Focus" mode, the player can adjust the camera's focus to emulate professional photography.

By default, focus is disabled and everything is sharp.
When the focus is set to "player," the camera will automatically focus on our squirrel hero, as it does during gameplay.
When the focus is set to "manual," the player has full control over the focal distance. This is useful for shots where you might want a citizen in focus and the squirrel blurry.
In "Filter" mode, the player can add silly photo filters to the scene, which can change the color, or put an effect on nearby human and squirrel faces (and you can toggle this effect for player only, NPC only, or both). There are 15 photo filters to collect around the world....can you find them all?
Photo mode is a free update for all, so be sure to update and play today to show off all your Squirrel lewks!

Patch Notes 1.0.2:

Fixed the cause of some random crashing that was related to hint boxes
Game will auto-save when grabbing important collectables like the Golden Acorns. Currently, auto-save will only function in The Neighborhood!
Added 1 Reload Wedge to the Neighborhood, so the total number of Reload Wheels is a whole number.
Fixed bug that was ejecting players out of water slides before they reached the end.
Various smaller bug fixes and optimizations.
Our team at Dee Dee Creations has been hard at work on this game for over two years now, so you can imagine how exciting this week has been seeing the game finally get into your paws. Go nuts!
