This update readies the main questline seasonal rewards. We’ve worked hard on improving the accessibility of the quests this season and believe this season should be the most straightforward to accomplish. We’ve added fun and quirky new rewards to give that extra motivation to cross the finish line.
This update also brings bug fixes, additional polish to the recently added QoL updates, and several cleric balance changes in hopes of increasing their build diversity. We are cooking up some stuff for the upcoming weeks and will have news very soon. Thank you and see you in the dungeons!

Fixed an issue where the server could crash if a prop the player was standing on was destroyed.
Fixed an issue where other characters could intermittently disappear or flicker.
Fixed an issue where Spells could travel in an unintended direction.
Fixed an issue where the interaction speed for corpses killed by a party member could be too slow.
Fixed an issue where the visual effect of Fighter Veteran's Instinct could fail to dissipate.
Fixed an issue where Wizard's Teleport could be used consecutively without cooldown.

The selection cancel area in the center of the radial menu has been reduced to help prevent accidental selections.
The Ping system has been improved.
Added a shortcut to remove Waypoint Pings. (Alt + Delete)
Ping shortcuts are now displayed in the map legend.
Item swapping is now available in the Trading Post and Expressman inventories.
The position of the Tutorial start button has been changed.
Added a sound effect for the "Defeat" emote in the Lobby.
Additional information about Communication has been added to the Tome of Knowledge.
Balance Updates:
Classes
Warlock
Dark Offering's Sacrifice Maximum Health per stack has been reduced from 10% to 9%, and its Magical Damage Bonus and Physical Damage Bonus have been reduced from 5% to 3%. The duration of the effect has been increased from 60 seconds to 100 seconds.
Cleric
Advanced Healer's healing effect has been reduced from 5 to 4.
Veil of Judgement has been changed from Tier 5 to Tier 4.
Blessed Fare has been changed from Tier 5 to Tier 3.
Divine Barrier has been changed from Tier 6 to Tier 5.
Cleanse has been changed from Tier 2 to Tier 1.
Locust Swarm has been changed back from Earth Magic to Divine Magic.
Sacred Flame can now stack on the same target only once every 0.7 seconds, and its cooldown has been removed.
Confession can now also remove healing reduction effects. The amount of Health restored per removed effect has been increased from 5 to 10, and its cooldown has been reduced from 24 seconds to 10 seconds.
Barefoot Pilgrimage's casting time has been reduced, and its cooldown has been reduced from 45 seconds to 40 seconds.
Excommunication's cooldown has been reduced from 45 seconds to 40 seconds.

Game Updates:
Improved the anti-cheat system.
Added a skin system for summons and shapeshift forms.
Added new Golden Goblin-themed cosmetics to the Shop.
Added a tutorial. The tutorial guides players through the game's core mechanics in sequence, including movement, combat, interaction, healing, skills, magic, and extraction. New players must complete the tutorial before creating an account. The tutorial can be replayed at any time through the ESC menu after completion.
Added new Perks and Skills for the Ranger.
Added the Servant Control System. When you have a beast tamed with the Ranger's Taming Shot, hold the E key to open the command wheel and give it orders. One of six options can be selected: Attack, Follow, Hold, Aggressive, Defensive, and Passive.
Changed the behavior of the Rogue's Wall Ride. Players must now press the Jump key while holding the W key to perform Wall Ride.
Added network latency compensation. Damage from hitscan spells targeting players is now determined based on the position of the target as it appeared on the attacking player's screen.
Improved the ping system.
Party member name colors displayed in chat now match each party member's ping color. Accordingly, the text of ping and radial messages, as well as player names, is now displayed in white, while highlighted ping messages remain red as before.
Ping information can now be checked regardless of distance. When multiple pings overlap, only the closest ping to the center of the screen is displayed.
Hovering over a ping icon on the full map now displays the same ping information shown in-game.
The ping color assignment system has been improved to prevent duplicate colors among party members. Assigned colors are now retained after reconnecting, party members leaving the party, or moving between floors.
Updated some ping messages.
An item swap feature has been added. Dragging an item onto another item swaps the positions of the two items, but gold storage items and stackable items of the same rarity cannot be swapped. This feature applies to inventory and utility slots both in-game and in the lobby, but is not supported in the Trading Post or Merchant UI.
Added a new Unique-grade monster, the Loot Goblin, to all dungeons.
Improved the blocking sound effects for Tear of Hrímthurs.
Increased the size of the trade window in the Trading Post from 5x5 to 6x6.
Added a confirmation popup when blocking a player. This applies to all locations where the block option is available, including the player list, chat, and trade menus.
Balance Updates:
General
Emberwing's Impact Power has been slightly reduced.
The difficulty of certain attack patterns of the Magma Wyvern has been reduced.
Classes
Ranger
Added a new Skill, Taming Shot.
Added a new Perk, Feral Resonance.
Wizard
Reduced the Burn Multiplier of Meteor Strike from 1.0 to 0.5.
Warlock
Reduced the all-stat reduction effect of Curse of Weakness from -25% to -20%.
Sorcerer
Apex of Sorcery now grants 30% Magic Penetration while casting spells, and its Magical Damage Bonus has been reduced from 50% to 30%.
Increased the damage of Glaciate from 3 to 5.
Removed the Magic Penetration effect from Mana Flow.

We're excited to announce that the EA Season #10 Warlord Tournament will be held this October!
Full details are still being finalized, but here's some preliminary information to get you started.
APPLICATIONS
Applications are open to players who reach and hold Warlord rank as of September 6 23:59 UTC and the applications will open shortly after this deadline.
You must register with one of your Warlord-ranked classes, and every match must be played on that registered class.
Applications must be submitted as a Trio of 3 Warlords. It doesn't matter whether your Warlord rank was earned in Solo/Duo or Flex queue.
A player may only belong to one team. Players entered on multiple applications will be disqualified.
FORMAT AND QUALIFIERS
*The schedule is tentative and subject to change. Any updates will be announced later.
Brackets will be drawn from the applications received, and the Qualifiers will be held separately for each region.
Qualifier matches will take place between September 22 and September 27 (UTC).
Only 4 teams from each region will advance to the Main Finals (Semi-finals, 3rd Place Match, and Grand Final).
Only the Main Finals will be livestreamed on IRONMACE's official channels.
WILD CARD
Trios from the 3 minor regions (OCE/SA/SEA) can apply as Wild Cards without holding Warlord rank, given the smaller player populations in these regions.
Team with the highest average MMR will be selected as that region's Wild Card.
Each Wild Card team must choose one of the 3 major region servers
(East Asia / US West / EU Central) to compete on. Once chosen, it cannot be changed.
MAIN FINALS SCHEDULE
*Time and server for each region. The Main Finals bracket will be announced once the Qualifiers have concluded.
ASIA: October 2 12:00 UTC (East Asia server)
EU: October 2 16:00 UTC (EU Central server)
NA: October 2 20:00 UTC (US West server)

We've also added rewards for the outstanding adventurers who do well on the Weekly Hall of Fame! Now on top of bragging rights, you'll also be getting something tangible. For High Roller dungeons, we've eased some of the Gear Score requirements based on analysis of live data.

Bugfixes:
Fixed an issue where the shield could briefly lower while maintaining a defensive stance after successfully blocking an attack.
Fixed an issue where hit sounds could be played when beam-type spells hit targets other than characters.
Fixed an issue where hit reactions could repeatedly play when exposed to area-of-effect attacks from monsters that do not deal HP damage, such as movement speed reduction effects.
Fixed an issue where the character might fail to spawn after loading when traveling from Goblin Cave to Firedeep, displaying only the waiting room screen.
Fixed an issue where Wizards could use Fly to escape the affected area of Murder of Crows in the Blue Maelstrom - Spawning Pool module.
Fixed an issue where Death Beetles could attack while moving.

Game Updates:
Players who rank on the weekly Hall of Fame leaderboard will receive a reward package each week through the Expressman. The 1st-place player will receive a Spectral Coinbag containing 5,000 gold coins, while players ranked 2nd through 100th will receive a Gold Coin Bag containing 2,500 gold coins. Players who rank on multiple leaderboards will receive the rewards for each leaderboard. These rewards will expire at the end of the season and will not carry over to the next season.
To make High Roller more accessible, the entry gear score requirement has been reduced from 280 to 225.
Added a new monster, Emberwing, to The Firedeep.
Improved an issue that caused momentary server latency during certain attack patterns of the Fire Colossus.
Changed the drawbridge in The Forgotten Castle - Ruins to remain fully raised at a 90-degree angle until it begins to lower.
Improved the lighting of the Arena Ruins map.
Balance Updates:
General
The hit detection and behavior of the Magma Wyvern's charge attack have been adjusted, and its health has been slightly reduced.
The hit detection range of some of the Fire Colossus's attack patterns has been slightly reduced, and its health has been slightly decreased.
Classes
Fighter
Reduced the Additional Move Speed per stack of Sprint from 15 to 13.
Barbarian
Whirlwind now deals 10% less damage when colliding with shields, walls, doors, or other structures.
Reduced the Max Health Bonus of War Cry from 20% to 15% and reduced its duration from 10 seconds to 8 seconds.
Increased the Cooldown of Savage Roar from 28 seconds to 32 seconds.
Reduced the duration increase of Treacherous Lungs from 50% to 30%.
Warlock
The visual effects of Dark Offering and Blood Tithe have been improved, becoming more intense as the number of stacks increases.
Cleric
Added a visual effect that obscures the player's vision before and after the effect of Veil of Judgement is applied.
Changed Locust Swarm from Divine Magic to Earth Magic.
Reduced the effect range of Aura of Awe from 3m to 2m.
Reduced the Cooldown of Sacred Flame from 5 seconds to 1 second and increased its duration from 3.5 seconds to 5 seconds.
Slightly reduced the impact of Radiant Blade and reduced its Physical Damage and Divine Magical Damage from 20 to 12 each.
Sorcerer
Increased the Magical Damage Bonus and Magic Penetration of Mana Flow from 5% to 10% each, and increased its duration from 4 seconds to 5 seconds.
Reduced the Cooldown increase of Time Distortion from 200% to 165%.
Rogue
Lethal Mark can now be reapplied to the same target.
Items
Increased the Weapon Damage of Leviathan by 1.
Slightly increased the Action Speed of Longbow.
Reduced the Weapon Damage of Flanged Mace by 1 and reduced its Armor Penetration from 15% to 10%.
Reduced the Weapon Damage of Morning Star by 1 and reduced its Armor Penetration from 15% to 10%.
Reduced the Weapon Damage of War Hammer by 1.
Increased the Weapon Damage of Club by 1.

This update introduces our Early Access 3rd Anniversary Event. During the event, the Skeleton returns to the Tavern with a special new quest to celebrate the anniversary.
We've also fixed several major bugs that affected gameplay, made a number of balance adjustments, and improved the ping system to enhance the overall party-play experience. Looking ahead, we'll keep adding more Quality of Life (QoL) improvements to improve the overall experience.
Finally, we're closely analyzing the data from the Normal and High-Roller mode changes introduced last season. We'll continue refining these modes based on what we learn to provide the best possible gameplay experience.

Game Updates:
The Dark and Darker 3rd Anniversary Event has begun. The Skeleton Merchant has appeared, and you can now complete the "A Bone-A-Fide Anniversary" quest. Completing all event quests will reward you with the lobby emote "Triple Chocolate Sparkle Surprise."
The Dark and Darker 3rd Anniversary Login Reward Event will run from after this maintenance until this Sunday (August 9, 11:59 PM). Make sure to claim the Gold Coin Pouch, Bluestone Shard, and Reward Token delivered through the Expressman before the reward period ends.
A new throwable weapon skin with a Magma Wyvern theme has been released. Check it out in the shop now.
Boss corpse looting priority has been changed to be granted to the player and their party who dealt the highest cumulative damage to the boss. This is no longer determined by who lands the final hit. If the boss resets and recovers its health, previously accumulated damage will also be reset. The additional interaction time applied when a player without looting priority first opens a player or boss corpse is no longer affected by interaction speed-related stats such as Resourcefulness.
New Hunting Loot obtainable from the new monsters in The Firedeep have been added.
The Magma Wyvern's attack patterns have been improved. The hit direction of certain attacks has been adjusted to match the actual casting direction, and unnatural pauses before using certain attack patterns have been improved to appear more natural.
In Squire Royale, premade parties can no longer include duplicate classes. This restriction does not apply to players joining through random matchmaking.
Fixed an issue where merchant sell proceeds, Marketplace sale proceeds, and quest rewards were not automatically added to Gold Coin Containers when the containers were in a Looted state. Gold, silver, and event currencies will now be combined with existing currencies or storage containers regardless of their Looted status. When currencies with different statuses are combined, they will all be converted to Handled status and will be treated as Handled items thereafter.
Improved the VFX when the effect of Divine Barrier expires.
Added the Waypoint Ping feature. Players can now use Alt + Right Click on the map to connect up to 6 points and display a route. The configured route is displayed on the map and minimap with directional indicators and is shared with party members.
Players can now mark travel routes on the map using Alt + Right Click. Set routes will appear on the map and minimap with directional indicators and will be shared with party members.
Increased the duration that pings are displayed in-game and in chat after being created.
The party member list in the ESC menu now allows players to individually block pings and chat from each party member. When chat is blocked, that player's normal chat, party chat, and whispers will no longer be displayed.
Added a creation effect to World Markers and map/minimap icons when placing a new ping, making newly added pings easier to identify.
Improved the UI scaling of the dungeon results screen.

Reduced Vow of Silence's damage per stack from 6% to 4%.
Adjusted Stigmata from losing 1 HP every 2 seconds to losing 3 HP every 5 seconds, and added a -5% Physical Damage Reduction penalty.
Reduced Sacred Flame's coefficient from 10 (1.0) to 10 (0.25).
Reduced Judgement's cast time from 1.5 seconds to 1.25 seconds.
Wizard
Reduced Teleport's movement distance from 600 to 500 and increased the debuff duration from 5 seconds to 10 seconds.
Bard
Increased Tranquility's coefficient from (0.1) to (0.15), and increased the effect duration from 20/40/60 to 60/120/240.
Items
Changed Stillmend Boots' recovery condition from while stationary to while out of combat, and changed the recovery rate from 1 HP every 2 seconds to 1 HP every 5 seconds.
Changed the rarity of Soul-Devoted Folio from Epic to Legendary.
Increased Windreaver's first attack wind range from 200 to 300.

Adventure Rank and Arena rewards for EA Season #10 have been revealed.
Adjusted the unlock requirements for Perk slots. Slots 1–3 are now unlocked at Level 1, and Slot 4 is unlocked at Level 5.
To prevent the misuse of whispers as an advertising method by some accounts, the usage requirement has been changed. Whispers are now available only to players who are level 5 or higher.
To prevent some accounts from abusing the Party Finder as a means of advertising external websites, the party name input system has been changed. Squire Status accounts must now choose from a predefined list of party names instead of entering one manually, while Legendary Status accounts can continue to enter custom party names. Selected party names are displayed in each player's language.
Removed harvestable trees from empty modules that contain no monsters in The Forgotten Castle - Ruins.
Changed the Health display in the character status window from rounding to rounding up. Health will now display as 1 instead of 0 when less than 1 Health remains, making it clear that the player is still alive.
The Dungeon Results screen now displays the total damage dealt to other players during the match. This value does not grant additional AP.
Added the Auto Equip Next Utility Slot on Consumption option to the settings. When enabled, the next utility item slot will be automatically equipped after all charges of the currently held utility item have been consumed.
Balance Updates:

Increased the number of Fiendlings that appear in certain modules within the Inferno.

Reduced Sleep drowsy state duration from 3s to 2s and increased sleep duration from 1.25s to 2s.
Increased Teleport debuff duration from 3s to 5s, while reducing travel distance from 8m to 6m and reducing the penalty value from -75% to -50%.
Barbarian
Reduced Savage Roar Physical Damage Bonus reduction from 30% to 20%.
Druid
Reduced Bear Form Action Speed from -30% to -35%.
Warlock
Shadow Touch's True Dark Magical Damage has been changed from 2 to True Magical Damage 1.
Cleric
Reduced Judgement channeling time from 1.5s to 1.25s.

Greatly reduced the recovery time after the second hit of the Lantern Shield riposte chain, allowing actions to be chained much more quickly. (Removed the 0.4s post-attack delay.)
Slightly increased the weak block reaction window of the Lantern Shield to make ripostes easier to perform.
Adjusted the Longsword parry area while guarding to be slightly closer to the crosshair.

Removed the sound effect that plays when a player becomes very low health.
Balance Updates:
General
The parry area has been expanded to ensure better consistency across parry weapons for performing a parry→ riposte.
Parry weapons can now also perform a normal block→riposte when they block an attack outside the parry area. However, parry weapons do not receive additional bonus damage when landing a block→riposte.
The Player Detail window now displays info for the normal riposte and parry riposte damage multipliers.
The defense recovery times for weapons and shields have been improved to allow for better block→riposte.
Improved an issue where an attacker’s weapon could pass through a defending weapon and damage the defender.
Improved the drop rate of artifacts for The Firedeep bosses.

Rogue
Veil of Shadows has been updated so that the stealth effect will not be removed by moving for the first 2 seconds after the stealth effect is activated.
Barbarian
When using Whirlwind, all weapon damage multipliers have been reduced from 100% to 90%.
Wizard
Increased the Teleport count from 1 → 2. Teleport cannot be cast again while in the ‘destabilized’ state.
The ‘Sleepy’ duration in Sleep has been reduced from 3 seconds to 2 seconds, and the sleep duration has been increased from 1.25 seconds to 2 seconds.
Cleric
Increased the stack duration of Sacred Flame from 2s → 3.5s.
Increased the cooldown of Sacred Flame from 2s → 5s.
The magical damage bonus for Vow of Silence has been reduced from 10% → 6%, and cast time has been increased from 0.75s→1.25s.
The cast time for Judgement has been increased from 1s →1.5s.
The cast time of Barefoot Pilgrimage has been reduced from 3s → 2s, cooldown reduced from 90s → 45s, and effect duration increased from 12s → 16s.
Confession cooldown reduced from 60s → 24s.
Items
Sling's weapon damage has been reduced by 2 at all rarities.

Enter the Flames! – Power stirs once more within the dungeons. New arcane magic has awakened. Forgotten divine magic has been rediscovered, and a new terror now rises from the Firedeep.
Nearly 40 new perks, skills and spells! – Overwhelming magic has been bestowed upon the Wizard and Cleric. Also a broad revamp of many familiar skills for the other classes.
New Artifacts – Are you worthy enough to discover and wield the brand new Artifacts and minor Artifacts?
New Melee Riposte Mechanics - Blocking with sword-type weapons now takes into consideration the size and sweet spot of the weapons. Blocking with the sweet spot now allows a quicker riposte.
More QoL and Smoother Progression – Numerous QoL improvements including better game guidance, smoother quest progression, and quicker unlocks. Triumph exp can now be more easily earned in all game modes. The Adventure Ranks have been extended with actual gold rewards for attaining the top ranks!
We have decided to start this season with a two-week ‘Solo Self Found’ event. This means that the Trading Post and Marketplace will not open until July 30, 2026. In the lead up to that date, we will be running a Twitch Drops Campaign from July 18. Also be sure to login and collect all your EA Season 9 rewards including the first Solo/Duo Arena portrait borders. The new Arena season 3 will also commence on July 31, 2026. Please note that the Arenas will be limited to ‘Epic’ grade and you will not lose your gear upon a loss.

Dreadspine no longer appears in the game. It’s special dropped items are now dropped by the Skeleton Champion and Abomination.
Changed how the spell, music, transformation, and emote selection wheels are canceled. Moving the cursor to the center of the wheel cancels the current selection. Since the center is selected by default when opening the wheel, opening and immediately closing it will now cancel the selection. This change also allows Sorcerers to cast spells from each hand while holding magic weapons.
Updated a new Riposte system.
Parry & Riposte - Parry is a weapon-specific trait. Only sword-type and dagger weapons can perform a parry now by blocking an attack with their parry sweet spot, allowing for an immediate Riposte. If they block an attack outside their sweet spot, they can only guard against the attack and forego the chance to riposte.
Block & Riposte - Most of the weapons that cannot parry have now been changed to a block & riposte weapon. Blocking an attack will elicit the blocking animation based on the impact difference of the weapons. A block-riposte can be triggered after the block.
The Riposte damage modifiers have been updated to reflect the greater skill required to successfully land a riposte.
Added new Artifacts and Minor Artifacts: Shadowbite, Windreaver, Titanium Pavise, Grimveil Cloak, Tear of Hrímthurs, and Soul-Devoted Folio.
Added an "Auto-Equip Supplies" checkbox to the Quick Purchase popup shown before entering Normal and Squire Royale modes.
Base Supplies will not be automatically equipped if the box is unchecked.
Locked quests now display the prerequisite quest and quest giver’s name.
Quest items now display the name of the merchant they should be turned in to.
Added a confirmation popup when submitting Unique or higher rarity items for quests that accept items regardless of rarity.
Improved achievement completion indicators to make newly completed achievements easier to find. Indicators are shown from the category down to the achievement and remain until clicked.
Reworked the Triumph system. Triumph EXP can now be earned by escaping dungeons, killing or assisting in the killing of enemy players. The amount earned varies depending on the game mode and floor. The EXP required for each Triumph level has also been adjusted.
The Demigod rank has been expanded to Level 50. Reaching each Demigod level grants Gold Coin delivered through the Expressman. (Must be claimed within one week and expires at the end of the season.)
Goblin Recovery recovery rates are now displayed in the game mode descriptions.
Moved the Recent Party Members list to the left side of the screen.

Weapon Guard now grants +1 Impact Resistance, and its Physical Damage Reduction effect has been removed.
Perfect Block duration has been increased from 8 to 12 seconds. Cooldown has been increased from 7 to 8 seconds.
Last Bastion duration has been increased from 8 to 12 seconds. Cooldown has been reduced from 48 to 32 seconds.
Disarm cooldown has been reduced from 24 to 18 seconds.
Pommel Strike cooldown has been reduced from 18 to 12 seconds.
Fortified Ground cooldown has been reduced from 18 to 12 seconds.
Combo Attack now grants its buff immediately after the first successful hit.
Barbarian

Rogue
Added the new skill Play Dead.

Exiting Hide now applies a -30% Physical Damage Bonus for 3 seconds.

Sneak Attack damage has been increased from 10 to 15. Cooldown has been increased from 22 to 24 seconds.
Shadowstep cooldown has been reduced from 30 to 24 seconds.
Dagger Mastery Physical Damage Bonus has been increased from 10% to 15%.
Lethal Mark's multiplicative Physical Damage Reduction has been increased from 15% to 30%.
Trickster now grants 30% Action Speed while throwing Throwing Knives (up from 20%), adds 10% Move Speed while throwing, and increases item equip speed by 50%.
Ranger
Added the new perk Overload.
Purge Shot has been changed from a perk to a skill. It now removes all buffs and deals 10 Magical Damage for each buff removed.
Forceful Shot's knockback duration has been reduced from 10 seconds to 8 seconds.
Overdraw charge time per stack has been reduced from 1.25 to 1 second.
Explosive Shot damage-over-time duration has been increased from 8 to 10 seconds, and its damage has been increased from 7 to 10.
Sorcerer
Increased the knockback distance of Windblast and Vortex slightly.
Eruption cast time has been reduced from 0.85 to 0.75 seconds, and its launch height has been reduced from 1000 to 800.
Fire Arrow damage has been increased from 8 to 10.
Lightning Storm damage has been increased from 10 (1.0) to 15 (0.75).
Flamethrower damage has been increased from 20 to 25, while its duration has been reduced from 5 to 4 seconds.
Flamefrost Spear damage has been increased from 30/30 to 35/35.
Mana Flow duration has been increased from 3 to 4 seconds.

This update marks the start of the EAS9 End of Season Events.
During the final stretch before the start of EAS10, the dungeons have become a more dangerous place with better rewards to match. Non-boss monsters are more aggressive.
In return, dungeon drop rates have been increased across the board. Artifact drop rates have been doubled in High-Roller dungeons, and the chance to obtain better loot and higher-rarity items has increased in all dungeons. Accessory drop rates from the sub-bosses have also increased, and quest item drop rates have been boosted. This includes a small temporary chance to gain Legendary-grade quest items from PvE dungeons during this period. Additionally, the small coffers chests in all dungeons have a small chance to yield the super valuable hunting loots during this event.
To help boost Adventure Rank progress in the final push towards ‘Demigod’ rank, we’ve doubled the Adventure Point multiplier for all dungeons.
The End of Season festivities also include the 'Artifact Arenas’ which will be available from July 10 through July 14.
Finally, we’ve also made big improvements to the in-game ping system for better team coordination. This also includes new communications wheels for both social and combat messages.
We hope you enjoy these changes while we prepare for the next Early Access Season. Be on the lookout for new EAS10 information dropping soon. In the meantime, see you in the dungeons!

Fixed an issue where successful Bard Play actions could fail to apply their intended effects.
Fixed an issue where equipping a weapon or switching Quick Slots could be delayed after using a throwable item.
Fixed an issue where returning from Alt+Tab could leave the Alt key stuck, causing inventory items to be dropped unintentionally.
Fixed an issue where player movement could become locked when using a Crystal Ball and a one-handed weapon while both Primary Attack and Secondary Attack were bound to the same key.
Fixed an issue where the Cost Limit color for Resurrection was displayed differently from other Divine Magic spells.
Fixed an issue where magma projectiles could fail to spawn during certain attack patterns of the Fire Colossus.
Fixed an issue where the map legend icon could flicker whenever a ping was placed.
Fixed an issue where Bandages and Potions available upon entering Squire Royale could be incorrectly granted as Looted items.
Fixed an issue where the Bard's Piercing Shrill could fail to appear in the Total Damage summary in Arena.

Game Updates:
The End of Season 9 event begins. Following the end of the current Arena rank season on July 6th, the off-season Arena (Flex + Solo/Duo) will be available at all times from July 10th to July 14th. During this period, the item rarity restriction for Arena entry is lifted, allowing gear up to Artifact rarity to be used, and all items will be retained even upon losing the match. To mark the final stretch before the next season, the dungeons have become more dangerous with better rewards to match. Non-boss monsters are more aggressive, gaining 15% Attack Power while losing 30% Health. In return, dungeon drop rates are increased across the board. Artifact drop rates are doubled in High-Roller dungeons, and the chance to obtain better loot and higher-rarity items is increased from normal chests, premium chests (Golden Chest, Lion's Head Chest), treasure hoards, and sub-bosses. Sub-boss accessory drop rates are also increased, and quest item drop rates are boosted — Legendary-rarity quest items also have a small chance to drop in PvE dungeons during this period. Small Coffers in all dungeons also have a small chance to yield high-grade hunting loot such as Seal of Dominion, Spectral Fabric, and Troll's Blood. Finally, to help boost Adventure Rank progress, all Adventure Point gains in dungeons are doubled.
EA Season 9 Solo/Duo Arena rewards have been revealed. By enabling the Show Arena Rank Portrait Frame option in the Customization menu, both Solo/Duo and Flex Arena frame rewards will be equipped at the same time.
Arena Season #3 is scheduled to begin on July 31.
The default crouch (C) keybind has been removed, and Toggle Camera (V) has been reassigned to N. You can rebind these keys at any time in the Options menu.
Items placed into the player's inventory now use vertical-first sorting in both the lobby and dungeons.
The ping system has been improved.
Pings now display immediately on key input.
Chat message colors now vary depending on the ping type.
Ping icons and world markers have been redesigned, and a new ping animation has been added.
A unique color (Yellow/Orange/Green) is now assigned per party member and displayed on ping icons, compass, map, and portrait badges.
Ping input bindings have been updated. (General ping: Middle Mouse Button / Highlight ping: V / Combat radial: C / Social radial: Z / Insert: Ping current location)
The ping overlay has been improved — it now shows the object name instead of the character name, with a remove button for your own pings and a respond button for party members' pings.
Ping highlight effects have been improved, and ping sound has been changed to 3D directional audio.
General pings no longer display a "Check my ping." chat message.
Combat and social radial messages have been updated. The "Need Ammo" message now automatically changes based on the equipped ranged weapon type.
Gambler's Token is now a Soulbound item. While the original owner is alive, they cannot drop it in a dungeon, transfer it to another player's inventory, or send it through the Expressman.

This update brings several large changes to the High-Roller and Normal dungeons. We have now added a minimum gear-score requirement along with a higher entrance fee to the High-Roller dungeons to heighten their identity as a high-risk/high reward venue. To offset the higher fees, all adventurers that enter the HR dungeons now receive a ‘Gambler’s Token’ that they can be sold on extraction to recoup their costs. Taking risk to the fullest, HR dungeoneers can also collect the tokens of their slaughtered foes for greater rewards or just for bragging right.
We’ve also seen continual improvement with new player retention due to recent onboarding and gating improvements. Based on this encouraging data, we updated the entrance restrictions for the Normal dungeons to give each dungeon a more defined place in the overall progression journey. This also means finding better loot through the dungeons to make progress smoother.
This update also reveals the seasonal rewards and the end dates for EAS9. This is in line with our plans of going with a more predictable cadence for each season as we build up to version 1.0. We still have a way to go, but we look to add good content with each wipe going forward. This includes continuing to flesh out the classes and give players the proper canvas to build their fantasy character.
Finally, we have an update planned next week to usher in the end of season events. Adventurers can expect boosted loot and the return of artifact arenas for the final weeks of the season. Thank you and see you in the dungeons!

Game Updates:
EA Season 9 rewards for Flex Arena and Adventurer Rank have been revealed.
Sales of the EA Season 9 Season Pack will end on July 10 at 11:59 PM(UTC).
EA Season 9 will end on July 17. The Arena season will end on July 6.
High-Roller Dungeon entry requirements have been changed to a minimum Gear Score of 280 based on equipped items, and the entry fee has been increased to 500 Gold. A Gambler's Token worth 500 gold will now be automatically granted upon entry and can be sold to a Merchant after successfully extracting from the dungeon.
The item rarity restrictions for entering each dungeon in Normal mode have been adjusted. The Forgotten Castle allows up to Common rarity items, The Ashen Range up to Uncommon rarity items, The Frost Mountain up to Rare rarity items, and The Blue Maelstrom up to Epic rarity items.
The Quick Access Inventory will also be displayed when players ready up for the Normal Mode dungeons.
Players can now view the possible minimum and maximum value ranges of the random item modifiers by holding the Alt key (RT on gamepad) while viewing item tooltips, or by enabling the option in the settings.
The English name of the Haze Blade has been changed from "Haze Blade" to "Merrymaker."
“Found By” designation will now be applied to items recovered through Expressman and items 'crafted' in the Workshop.
Whispers will no longer be displayed while in-game.

Eligibility & Applications
Qualification: Players must apply together as a full team, consisting of three eligible members. Each of the three members must hold a Warlord rank from either the Solo/Duo or Flex(Trio) as of June 22nd, 00:00 (UTC), and each member of the team must be a different class.

We are excited to announce that the EAS9 Warlord Tournament will be held this July!
While the full details are still being polished, we wanted to share some preliminary information with you.
APPLICATIONS
Applicants must maintain their Warlord rank until June 22nd. Additionally, you must select one of your Warlord-tier classes to register for the tournament, and all matches must be played using only that registered class.
Applications must be submitted as a Trio of 3 Warlords, regardless of Solo/Duo or Flex queue status (Duplicate applications are not permitted).
The tournament will feature a Regional round of 8 (8 teams, 24 players per region).
If applications exceed 8 teams per region, selection will be based on the combined rank points of the team members.
Applications will open from June 22, 2026, to June 28, 2026.
SELECTION CRITERIA FOR EXCESS APPLICATIONS
Teams will be selected by adding up the individual rank placements of all team members, with the lowest total points (highest combined rank) being selected first.
Example: Solo/Duo 2nd place (2 points) + Flex 8th place (8 points) + Flex 20th place (20 points) = Total 30 points
TIE-BREAKER RULES
Based on the ranks from the applications, priority will be given to the team with the higher minimum rank compared to the opponent.
For example, Team A (Solo/Duo 1st, Solo/Duo 9th, Flex 14th) VS Team B (Flex 4th, Flex 7th, Flex 13th), Team B will take priority because their lowest rank is 13th, whereas Team A's lowest rank is 14th.
If a tie still persists, the team that submitted their application earlier will be selected.
REGIONAL TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE

This hotfix brings polish and balance to the recently added features. This includes adding new treasure rooms and mining ores to the recently added the Firedeep levels. We’ve also made numerous adjustments to the economy, making rare items more valuable. We’ve tuned the balance for the game rules including the amount of AP earned for kills and going down a floor. We’ve also made further adjustments to the Dark Swarm phases in the Squire Royale mode. This update also brings the seductive Succubus race to the game including matching exquisite weapon skins. Fixed an issue where frame drops could occur when a Ranger’s Explosive Shot hit a target.
Fixed an issue where the Ghost King could be blocked by a Druid's Thorn Barrier and Entangling Vines.
Fixed an issue where the Barbarian’s Two-Hander and Heavy Swing perks could also apply to thrown weapons.
Fixed an issue where a Sorcerer could escape outside the map by using Electric Dash at a specific location within the Wheel module in The Forgotten Castle - Crypt.
Fixed an issue where players could become stuck behind a specific Chest within the Sinking Pillars module in The Frost Mountain - Ice Abyss.
Fixed an issue where players could become stuck between objects at a specific location within the Bladehand's Refuge module in The Blue Maelstrom.

Game Updates:
The Ember Gem special key item has been added to the Firedeep.
A new resource, Brimstone, has been added to the Inferno.
Improved the pre-attack animations for bow-wielding monsters single-shot and multi-shot attacks to make them more visually distinct.
The activation timing of the Demon Overseer's knockback attack has been slightly delayed.
New Succubus themed cosmetics have been added to the Shop.
Balance Updates:
General
Adjusted the duration and amount of Dark Swarm phases in the Squire Royale mode.
Increased the AP rewards for player kills and entering the next floor. Killing an enemy player has increased from 30 to 90 AP (split between the party), and entering the next floor has increased from 30 to 50 AP.
The sell-back prices to the merchants of several high-value items have been increased, including Frost Wyvern Egg, Honeybliss Pear, Chocolate Chip Muffin, Ancient Stingray Egg, Crown of the Midnight Stag, Midnight Stag Display, Corrupted Heart, Tear of the Volcano, and Seal of Dominion.
The sell-back prices of boss Hunting Loot have been increased.
The maximum stack size of Silver Coins has been increased from 30 to 100.
The floor lava damage in the Demon Overseer’s Dominion module has been reduced.
Classes
Barbarian
The maximum Health bonus from Robust has been increased from 8% to 10%.
Heavy Swing has been changed from reducing Movement Speed of the target by 10% to increasing the duration of any Movement Speed reduction effects on the target by 100%.
Grappling Hook now has a faster throw speed, a longer pull distance, and its cooldown has been reduced from 20 seconds to 16 seconds.
The cooldown of Hurl Weapon has been reduced from 20 seconds to 16 seconds.
Warlock
The damage scaling of Dark Reflection has been reduced from 15 (0.75) to 15 (0.25).
The bonus Dark Magic Damage per Dark Shard while in Demon Form has been reduced from 33% to 25%.
The Movement Speed reduction effect applied when hit by a Demon Form melee attack has had both its magnitude and duration increased.
