Added 15 frame buffer after letting go of a ladder before holding up will re-grab the ladder. Releasing and re-pressing up will cancel this buffer, letting you grab again right away.
New graphics for Tsuchinoko.
Fixed two possible instances where the final boss's 2nd phase could lock up.
Log spawners in Black Jaguar's stage & platforms in Final 2 now properly keep time when Serval falls
down a pit or is squished.
Lifts in Japanese Crested Ibis's stage now respawn after falling.
Minor level modifications.

I've added two new settings to Mega Serval! You can now enable auto-fire and disable knock-back. Please be advised that like with other difficulty settings, knockback will be required to submit times to the leaderboard.
Version 2.3 - May 10, 2023:
Added new settings:
Auto-fire: Serval can continuously fire by holding the attack buttons.
Knockback: stun & knock-back can be disabled.
Serval is no longer pushed by wind during her stun animation.
Added 10-frame cool down after splitting DARK MAGIC to facilitate auto-fire.

Mega Serval 2.0

Made the end credits a little more interesting.
Changed space background loading graphic to be darker.
Fixed the surprise Cerulean in Blackbuck's stage being able to break out of the crate while the game is paused.
Fixed crash related to one of Blackbuck's moves when under half health.
Counters for item drops now reset before Race Mode and when loading a file for more consistent drops between runs.

Fixed being able to re-assign auxiliary abilities while the pause menu should otherwise not accept input.
Fixed Serval not displaying properly in maid mode on the race results screen.
Fixed Serval's after-images not displaying the maid outfit or hat when applicable.
Fixed being able to bap Blackbuck and Grey Wolf before the fight starts.
Fixed being able to bring P. MIRACLE into Race mode by assigning it to an aux ability in Story mode.
Fixed crash related to the settings menu trying to pull up the difficulty settings in Race mode.

I hope everyone is having a happy holiday! Over the past few days I've taken some time to completely overhaul how assigned auxiliary abilities and the M. SCRATCH button work. Overall I think the new system is a lot better and any issues associated with aux abilities being interru
I hope everyone is having a happy holiday! Over the past few days I've taken some time to completely overhaul how assigned auxiliary abilities and the M. SCRATCH button work. Overall I think the new system is a lot better and any issues associated with aux abilities being interrupted (and as a result being permanently switched to that ability) are fixed. Changes of this magnitude ended up giving me a lot of funky bugs to fix and there may be more so as always, bug reports and other feedback via the Steam discussion or Twitter are much appreciated.

Version 1.4 - December 25, 2022
Final 3's boss rush will now remember your progress if you meet an unfortunate end.
Secret defeat no longer can happen if the defeat results from a pit.
Gray Wolf takes 2 extra points of damage from J. PUNCH.
Toki takes 3 extra points of damage from W. DIVE.
Fixed P. MIRACLE still working while ammo depleted in some instances.
Fixed issue with J. PUNCH canceling iframes on start-up. You are now invincible from the beginning of the attack.
Fixed ability cycle not syncing with current ability if you change abilities via pause menu.
Fixed after-images persisting after taking damage during some moves.
Fixed maid mode not applying to P. MIRACLE and in the final boss's 2nd phase.
Final boss's introduction scene is now skipped in race mode.
Ability revert key now no longer changes Serval's ability and has been renamed to "M. SCRATCH".
Stored auxiliary ability buttons no longer change the current ability, they will just use the move regardless of ability equipped.
Ability chosen to be re-filled by Japariman will now display on the HUD.
Auxiliary abilities will display on the HUD as well when executed.
Auxiliary abilities no longer get carried over between files if you haven't unlocked them in the new file.

Thank you everyone for all the feedback over the past few days. Every morning I wake up to so many messages pointing out various bugs and other issues. Thanks to all of you, Mega Serval is stronger than ever!
Version 1.3 - December 4, 2022
The jumping portion of Wolf Dive will now trigger during coyote frames.
Fixed rainbow ramune in race mode triggering a save over file one.
Fixed error where game starting would not remember your screen size preferences if it was too big.
Fixed related error where F3 screen size toggle would not detect available window sizes properly.
Fixed crash introduced in 1.2 related to navigating the controls menu with the new key added.

Fixed issue assigning a function to a button thats already being used by the "jump/confirm" function.
