0.26.1 Change list

Reworked the Steam achievement tracking system. This should fix issues where some progress-based achievements were not unlocking correctly.
The achievement for painting objects should no longer gain progress when duplicating or placing objects.
Fixed an issue where the "Careful" delivery achievement would not unlock if it wasn't completed on the first attempt.
The timer in the RC car mission now starts when crossing the start line instead of when taking control of the car. This may also fix issues with unlocking the achievement for this level.
You can now set images, including animated ones, on the screens of all monitors and tablets.
The old TV can now be painted, and you can also set a custom image on its screen.
Fixed several new clothing models that were displayed incorrectly when hung on hooks.
Fixed several new objects that were positioned higher than intended when placed.
Placeable effects, such as fire and insects, no longer cast shadows from their placement origin on Medium graphics settings.
Torch light is now less intense.
Animated materials now work on walls and floors. The animation may still have some visual issues, which we plan to fix in future updates.
The first-person camera should no longer spawn inside objects in certain situations.
Fixed typos and incorrect names for several items.
Items added in the previous update now have proper prices in Story Mode. Previously, they were free.
.obj models imported via Mod Creator are now repaintable.

General changes

Over 100 new outdoor objects, including gardening items, plants, camping equipment, dead trees, decorations, and more.
12 new clothing items, including hoodie, overalls, tank tops, shorts, and more.
All clothing now have an alternative crumpled version.
Placeable effects (fire, smoke, insects, fog, sparks, and more).
6 animated textures for screens (we will add more in the future). The Mod Creator now also supports importing animations using flipbook sprite sheets. You can create flipbooks from videos using third-party tools such as flipbook.texturewiz.com and import your own animations to the game.
First-person walking mode in Photo Mode.
You can now restore room backups directly from within the game.
Undo support for additional actions (environment, groups, and more).
The Mod Creator now scans models for materials and automatically adds them to the material slots. Material names no longer need to be entered manually.
Bugs and Fixes

Doors and drawers now save their open/closed state when reopening or loading a room.
Objects attached to doors and drawers now remain attached after loading a room.
Undo now restores objects to their original location after dragging them to the UI "Remove" button.
You can no longer remove an outer room point if doing so would cause an interior wall to extend outside the room, preventing the room editor from breaking.
You can no longer start creating a new interior wall while holding a room point.

General changes

Undo now reverses object deletion, repainting, turning lights on/off, and room editing. A Redo button has also been added to restore actions after undoing them.
Added new monitors with arms, old monitors and vertical monitors

Object options in edit mode are now sorted and grouped.
Bugs and Fixes

Fixed an issue in the room library where objects were incorrectly sorted across different categories.
Older rooms should no longer appear in the "Best of X Days" categories. However, this change will only become noticeable over time, as the room upload date was previously updated when someone liked the room.
Fixed crash when using room library search
Objects now face the camera when spawned from the item list, instead of using a default rotation that could cause them to appear facing away from the player.
Fixed an issue where light sources would slightly increase in saturation when loading a room.
The light color selection panel should now automatically close when pressing Esc.
The light color selection button should now work more reliably and no longer cause the panel to close when releasing the mouse button.
Windows should no longer leave walls without cutouts under certain circumstances (e.g., when resetting a room).
Windows should no longer be placed on top of walls instead of being embedded into them.
Windows should now display correctly after adding or hiding windowsills.
Fixed zero prices on some items in story mode.
You can now pick up pets after resizing them in Edit Mode
Pets no longer cause borders to move in Edit Mode
Fixed an issue where the dominoes mission could fail due to one piece falling from the wrong side

Furnish Master has joined the Cozy Quest event! To celebrate this event, we have prepared a cozy new update, which features a lot of new objects and new primitives. We also made some changes to the room generator, which allows you to paint the floor in separate rooms. Another change is that we removed the objects RMB context menu. Now you can access the edit screen faster, making it easier to repaint several objects or manipulate them. This update also includes some other new features, such as sandbox room presets, object snapping and bug fixes.

Dividing a scene into rooms now also divides the floor, allowing you to paint room floors with different materials. If you want multiple floor sections within one room, you can divide the area with walls and then hide those walls.
Right-click now immediately opens the object editing menu, giving faster access to recoloring or advanced object manipulation.
Added an option to invert camera rotation and camera movement.
Added new furniture objects .
Added new baby objects and some toys
Added new rugs
Added new pots and vases without plants. We also created a separate category for those (Plants > Pots & Vases)
Added several electronics objects
Added new curtains. All curtains can now be found in separate category for those (Decor > Curtains)

Added more primitives. We also made subcategories for each primitive shape type.
When creating a room in Sandbox mode, you can now choose from several room templates.
Added snapping for chairs to tables for faster placement.
Added snapping for triangular and hexagonal light bulbs to make it easier to place them around each other.
Enabling Free Placement mode now also disables object snapping for more precise positioning.
Added a new category “New”, which contains all models from the latest update.
You can now remove saved groups by clicking the small trash bin icon near the group menu element.
Updated the game’s initial splash screen.
Updated the cursor appearance.
Bugs and Fixes
Fixed an issue where modded objects disappeared on room load after being scaled or repainted. Since the problem occurred during room saving, missing objects in already-created rooms will not return, but the issue should no longer happen.
Fixed zero-price for some objects from previous updates in Story mode.
When mirroring objects, the length value is no longer displayed as a negative number.
Improved interaction with object manipulators in Edit mode, such as mirroring and rotation.
Size-frame manipulators should no longer briefly appear outside the boundaries of an object in Edit mode.
Fixed an issue where the pencil sharpener could appear in the center of the room after loading.
Fixed the icon for the “air conditioner” object, which previously appeared rotated on its side.
Fixed an issue where trees were placed slightly above the ground surface.
Fixed an issue where a phantom item could appear next to an object while editing it.

The back button was moved to the top menu to avoid accidental clicks when exiting different game modes
Search is now case-insensitive. This fixes the issue when searching for "sofa" did not display objects named "Sofa"
Calling the pause menu and returning to the game during a mission no longer triggers a dialog window and breaks the process, which previously required restarting the game

Camera field of view should no longer shift because of selected object
Lamp fabrics now also glow when the light is turned on, instead of staying dark
Shadows on low and medium settings should no longer flicker and now look slightly cleaner
Gamepad controls now work in the main menu
Fixed missing lighting when enabling street mode while shadows are disabled in the settings
Pause now works on the property overview screen as well
Fixed a bug where exiting to the menu from a mission or your property would return to the map screen
Fixed localization in the store cleanup mission
Objects are no longer highlighted during pause and under the UI
Fixed an issue with kitchen cabinets in the center of the map in the large apartment
Fixed some localization errors and missing translations
The control settings tab now has the correct icon
Fixed recoloring and a drawer issue on one of the refrigerators
Some objects should now align better to surfaces when rotated, and this process is slightly optimized

It changes how the camera and resizing tools work. In addition to that, we have added a pause screen and a new settings category where you can rebind controls to other keys. The update also includes several other new features and bug fixes.

General changes

Over 200 new placeable items, including many vintage-style and outdoor objects. Almost all of them support repainting.
Stacks of books, plates, and money that can be stretched in edit mode.
Objects with customizable 3D text.
Improved camera behavior in close-up mode. The camera now rotates around where you're looking and can be moved inside the room.
Key bindings can now be remapped.
Object scaling now originates from the opposite edge instead of the center, making it easier to set precise sizes and align objects with others.
Decoration missions now save progress.
Curtains now automatically align along the wall. You can also place them the old way.
The menu can now be opened from anywhere in the game, and the game will pause.
Plants are now split into subcategories for easier browsing.
A new category for outdoor objects has been added.
Added support for Vulkan and mobile rendering (`-vulkan` and `-featureleveles31` launch options). Those are experimental and not recommended using on a regular basis. Will be improved in the future.
Bugs and Fixes

Room validity is now checked before connecting a point, fixing an issue where editing was blocked after placing a point and re-entering room editing mode.
Various text errors have been corrected.
Free camera movement in photo mode is now smooth.
The resolution and display mode "Apply" button is now only active after making changes.

Only necessary geometry now updates when the editor point is moved, which should improve performance while editing the room
Fixed the issue of no floor collision after attaching a point to another wall in the room editor

Added the ability to create interior walls
Added two kitchen cabinets with the option to change the sink
4 new sinks that can be placed on any surface
In mission mode, a confirmation to exit is added to prevent accidental exits
Now the room can be reset to its original shape and size
Windows become transparent if placed on interior walls or objects
The minimum distance between points in the room editor is reduced, allowing walls to be 30 centimeters (1 foot) long
Bugs and Fixes

Fixed some errors in the Italian localization
Fixed incorrect mask on walls for some windows
Windows should no longer leave a hole in the walls for some time when moved to another wall.
The mask in the wall should also no longer be visible when scaling or rotating a window.
A small cut has been fixed when a wall is split by a point but runs perfectly straight.
Fixed an issue where some windows were difficult to pick up.
When canceling window placement, it should no longer sink into the wall.

Outdoor mode can be toggled in the room editor. In outdoor mode, the ceiling is hidden, and sunlight enters the room. Walls can also be hidden from any angle.
