After over 8 months since the game's Early Access release, the next stage of the game has arrived - version 1.0! This version marks the official full release of the game. I hope to introduce further enhancements and expansions through future updates, but for now, my priority shifts to my next project (free to play), which you'll hear about soon.
Let's now summarize the new content in update v.1.0:
Yes! You read that right. Many people have been asking for vehicles in the game for a while now. So, I decided to fulfill your wish and added a new type of object - Vehicles. Vehicles also have Steam Workshop support, allowing you to add your own vehicle to the game or download one from the workshop.
This is a new block that several players have requested. It's already the 35th block in the game!
The object rotation system in the game has been improved. Now, in edit mode, you don't need to select a special rotation mode; you can rotate objects from any selected mode, making this option always available.
This feature is dedicated to my friends with AZERTY keyboards (hehe).
Of course, what would a good update be without bug fixes! This version brings a series of bug fixes, based on the feedback you've been giving me over the past few weeks.

Now, let's go over all the new features in the game:
From the very beginning, the game had a hotbar, but it lacked any visual representation on the player's HUD screen. Now, all saved shortcuts are visible on the bar at the bottom of the screen.
Update v.0.9 introduces two new blocks to the game: Door and Light Source. While browsing through your creations on the Steam Workshop, I noticed that maps often include buildings where doors are represented by holes in the wall or solid blocks blocking passage. Now, players have automatically opening doors that can be customized with any color and texture. The Light Source, on the other hand, will assist in illuminating your constructions.
This is a feature some of you have requested; now players can climb high blocks, adding more realism to the entire movement system.
The game has also received minor enhancements, such as automatic detection of the player's language and screen resolution on the first launch. The ragdoll collision system has also been improved. From now on, AI characters will fall to the ground if thrown into them by another ragdoll or object moving at an appropriate speed.
I hope you enjoy this small update :) We are just one step away from version v.1.0, which will be the full version of the game and will mark the game's exit from the Early Access phase.

As part of a broader integration of the game with the Steam Workshop, I decided to release a small update that will facilitate the process of adding additional content from the Workshop.
You no longer have to exit the game to add new content. A mod browser has been added to the game, allowing you to quickly add whatever you desire to the game.
Maps are now divided into 3 categories:
This helps organize all maps in your library and enables faster browsing of maps available on the Steam Workshop.
3 new languages, Belarusian, Japanese and Swedish, have also been added to the game. Additional languages are planned for the future.
Several minor bugs have been fixed in the game. Please remember that if you encounter any errors during gameplay, you can report them on our Discord Server.
As you can see, this is a rather small update, but no less important than the others. We are getting closer to version 1.0 and leaving the Early Access phase. If you have any suggestions regarding the game, feel free to join my Discord Server and share them with me!

For the past month, I've been working on adding several new blocks and something that many people have requested, which is the ability to customize weapons in Play Mode. Block rotation has also been improved, and a new language has been added. Let's go through everything step by step:
This is a new block added to the game. You can change its properties, such as the piston head length, movement speed, and break length.
Another block that many players have asked for is the Destructible Block. This block can be destroyed into small pieces by stepping on it or throwing something at it. Players can set its shape as they wish.
The Function Block is another step in creating more advanced maps. Players can choose any shape for this block and give it one of the following 5 functions:
You also asked for the ability to add your own weapons to the game, and I've added that as well. You can now download your own 3D models for Gun, Grenades, and Hammer from the Steam Workshop.
From now you can change the rotation axis by holding CTRL and pressing MIDDLE MOUSE BUTTON. I think it's a big improvement and it'll be more intuitive for most players.
A new language, Norwegian, has also been added to the game. There are plans for more language versions in the future.
Traditionally, a few minor bugs have been fixed in the game, such as character difficulty in climbing stairs and the inability to change guns, etc.
I'm extremely pleased to announce that the game is now almost in its final version. We have one last update before the game is fully released and leaves Early Access. Many of you have mentioned that the game could benefit from greater flexibility in adding your own content to the Steam Workshop. You've said that custom ragdolls and maps are not enough. So, as always, I aim to meet your expectations. With the new update v.0.6 to the game, I have added support for custom:
Let's describe each of these elements:
You can now add your own blocks to the game. This means that any 3D model can be incorporated into the game as a building block. Additionally, creators can add a variant with rounded edges for each block, although this depends on the block creator. Blocks can either support the materials available in the game for customization or have a single, unchangeable material that is an integral part of the block. Again, this option is entirely up to the block creator. All custom blocks support various block properties, such as gravity, collision, physics, rotation, and more.
You can now add your own materials to the game, which means that you can assign any texture to blocks that support material changes. Each material supports all 13 basic colors available in the game, although the implementation of these colors is up to the material creator. Some creators may choose not to create multi-colored versions of their materials. During material creation, creators can also use color-specific slots to place different materials, but this is not recommended.
You can now add your own landscapes to the game, meaning players are no longer confined to a simple grid-based map that is the default option at the beginning of the game. When creating a custom landscape, creators can choose to use the in-game skybox, allowing for changes in the time of day during gameplay, or they can use their own static skybox, in which case time changes won't be available. Additionally, when selecting a custom landscape, changing the ground color won't be possible, as this feature is reserved for the default map.
After the release of the Goofy Ahh Sounds DLC, community voices called for the addition of a feature to create custom soundpacks for the game. I thought this was an excellent idea, so now it's possible in the game. Players can replace both sound effects and musical tracks played in the main menu and during gameplay.
The current guide on creating content for the Steam Workshop has been significantly improved. The guide provides a step-by-step walkthrough of creating content for the Steam Workshop, complete with screenshots that make mod creation straightforward, even for those not accustomed to modding games. No special skills are required to create new content; just follow the guide.
I hope this update significantly enhances gameplay and provides a great opportunity for many players to dive into the world of mod creation. I'll repeat once more – the entire process of creating mods for the Ultimate Ragdoll Game has been simplified to ensure that EVERYONE has the chance to unleash their creativity and customize the ragdoll gameplay without unnecessary complications.
At this point, the game is nearing completion. Currently, I plan to work on minor gameplay improvements, further bug elimination, and add some new playable content to the game.

For the past month, I've been working intensively on a new game update. However, before I start listing what has been added, one significant change needs to be highlighted.
The new game version v.0.5 changes the way colors and materials are assigned to blocks. This means that all blocks on maps created in versions older than v.0.5 will change color to white. This change was necessary to enable the possibility of adding custom textures to the game through the Steam Workshop in a future update.
As a result, I kindly request all map creators who have uploaded their creations to the Steam Workshop to reapply colors to all blocks and update their maps. Starting from version v.0.5, it's possible to update existing items in the Steam Workshop. Further information can be found in the following part of this announcement.
I apologize for any inconveniences and assure you that this change will positively impact the game's further development.

Let's discuss everything in detail:
A new block has been added to the game - Textblock. This is a simple block in the shape of letters, numbers, and special characters. You have the entire Latin alphabet A-Z, numbers 0-9, and all special characters available on a standard English keyboard at your disposal.
As mentioned in the initial announcement, the way colors and materials are assigned to blocks in the game has changed. In the older version of the game, there was only the "Color" property, where we could choose from all available in-game colors and materials. Now, the color property has been split into "Color" and "Material," making the selection of appropriate textures much faster and more intuitive. Three new materials have been added to the game:
All materials are available in 13 standard colors. Additionally, in an upcoming update, support for custom materials from the Steam Workshop is planned to be added. This means that everyone will be able to create and add their own texture packs to the game.
As part of enhancing block customization, a property called "Round Edges" has also been added. This property allows you to round the edges of all basic shapes in the game. However, it doesn't work on special blocks like Checkpoints, Cannons, Mines, etc.
This is a minor improvement to the Build Mode. By holding the RMB and clicking the MMB on a specific block, you can quickly copy all its properties and start building with it.
During gameplay, the game will automatically save your progress and store it in a single slot. Intervals between saves can be adjusted in the game settings under the Gameplay tab.
An Experience Points (XP) system has been added to the game. XP is earned for every in-game action, such as placing blocks, removing them, spawning ragdolls, using Play Mode, etc. The amount of points can be seen in the Mode Info section during gameplay. Points are permanently assigned to your Steam account, so there's no need to worry about losing them.
The above-mentioned Experience Points also contribute to player competition. With version v.0.5, a global Leaderboard has been launched. You can check the results of the top players by clicking on the Leaderboard icon in the lower-left corner of the Main Menu.
Experience Points now also serve to unlock Play Modes. Initially, only three Play Modes will be available at the start of the game:
Additional gameplay modes will be unlocked as the player progresses. However, I'm aware that this change might not appeal to veteran players. Therefore, there's an option in the game settings to instantly unlock all Play Modes. Still, I encourage not to use this option and to unlock all Play Modes yourself since obtaining 10,000 XP unlocks a special achievement introduced with this update.
Next to the Leaderboards tab in the Main Menu, an Achievements tab has been added. This tab allows you to view the achievements you've unlocked.
This is another option that enhances player customization. Now, all interface colors in the game can be changed. Players can choose a color theme for each mode and a general one for the Main Menu and Mode Settings Menu. Colors can be altered in the game settings under the Interface tab.
Property icons have been added to the Mode Settings Menu. This significantly streamlines the usage of the game's interface.
All maps, both player-created and those downloaded from the Steam Workshop, now have thumbnails, making it easier to identify specific maps. Thumbnails are generated automatically during map saving.
Until now, it was only possible to upload content to the Steam Workshop once, without the ability to update it. From now on, in the Workshop tab in the Main Menu, you can enter the ID of the item you want to update. The item's ID can be found in the URL of its Steam Workshop page.
Thanks to the fantastic work of my translators, the game is now available in three new languages:

As usual, several minor bugs that appeared during gameplay have been fixed in the game. Currently, I'm working on resolving frequent crashes that players have reported.

Let's discuss everything in detail:
This is probably the most frequently requested and eagerly anticipated feature that was supposed to be added to the game. From now on, ragdolls don't just have to lie motionless in one place! Players have been given the ability to give them new functions. Now, in addition to lying in place, ragdolls can also:
All ragdolls are fully interactive with the player and the environment, which means that upon contact with the player or a rotating block, they fall helplessly to the ground. Additionally, ragdolls now have the "Gets up after" property. This means that after falling, ragdolls will wait for a certain number of seconds and then get back up and resume their assigned behavior!
From now on, Photo Mode is activated using the P button. This means that it permanently disappears from the mode selection menu. Additionally, time in Photo Mode now freezes, which combined with its activation through a single button press allows you to capture the perfect shot at the right moment.
Some players have pointed out that the game is too quiet. It's hard to disagree with that, which is why the new game version includes 5 new music tracks that play randomly during gameplay. Additionally, ragdolls that are pushed, hit, etc., now emit satisfying sound effects upon impact.
The game is now available in new languages:
I am working with my translators to translate the game into as many languages as possible. Additional language versions are planned for the future.
Minor interface improvements have also been made to the game. Now, Mode Info and Controls Tips are displayed on a black background, increasing contrast and improving the readability of the information provided.
When creating a new map, the game automatically assigns 5 basic functions to the hotbar to help new players familiarize themselves with the game mechanics.
Now it is also possible to enter custom values for multipliers in the Mode Settings Menu and Photo Mode Menu.
Minor changes have also been made to the map selection menu. Renaming and deleting a map are now assigned to a small bar that appears on the right side of the screen after selecting a specific map from the list. Additionally, a "Upload to Workshop" button has been added, allowing for even faster and easier uploading of self-created maps to the Workshop. Simply click the button, enter a description, select a thumbnail image, and it's done!
From now on, players have the ability to quickly restart the map. Simply open the Main Menu during gameplay and select the "Restart Map" option. The game will then load the last saved state of the map.
This is a new graphical setting available in the game. It adds realistic three-dimensional clouds to the game.
NOTE: This option is resource-intensive, so it is recommended to enable it only for owners of more powerful PCs.
In addition to all these features, a number of bug fixes have also been implemented in the game. For example, when uploading new content to the Workshop, the game now checks if the content folder contains files supported by the game (.sav and .pak). This is intended to prevent filling the Workshop with junk.
I hope you will enjoy this update! I have devoted a lot of time and energy to it, but my journey to improve the game is not over yet! Now, let's explain each new addition in detail:
Previously, during the game's release, players had a choice of 13 colors: white, gray, black, brown, red, orange, yellow, lime green, green, sky blue, blue, purple, and pink (with an additional glass material). Now, all these colors are available in translucent and glowing (except for gray, black, and brown) versions.
The new Play Mode called Spider Web introduces a fun way for players to cling to any object using a "spider web" and quickly pull themselves towards it. During this action, players automatically transition into ragdoll mode. This mechanic works well for parkour-style maps or for launching characters into the air.
Time Control is a new feature in the game that allows players to... well, control time. Originally, the game was supposed to have only a slow-motion feature, but I thought that giving players full control over time would provide more freedom. Now, with a single button press, you can slow down the game to x0.05 or even speed it up to x5. You can find the time control settings in the game's options (Settings > Gameplay).
I have been working with my translators to continually provide new language versions for the game. In this update, Arabic, Icelandic, and Romanian languages have been added. More languages will be added in future updates.
In addition, several improvements have been made to the game. For example, a "More Maps" button has been added to the map selection menu. This button takes you directly to the Steam Workshop, allowing you to quickly add new community-created maps to the game. Furthermore, there have been minor changes to the camera behavior, fixes for a few small bugs, and support has been added for the upcoming DLC, Ultimate Ragdoll Game - Goofy Ahh Sounds, which will be released tomorrow!
Many players have pointed out that it would be great if ragdolls in the game did more than just lie motionless. Currently, addressing this issue is my top priority, and I will be working on bringing more life to the ragdolls in the next update.
