Hello after a long break :).
Today I'm bringing some new additions to Jigsaw Puzzles Infinite: localization and AI image replacement!
I didn't want to touch the images that were originally in the game to not break compatibility. But since the game was released, the tech landscape has changed. I also changed my stance on AI and I do not want my games to be associated with it. Because of this, I replaced all of the images from Base package (which were generated using AI) with new images. To compromise on the compatibility, the old images are still in game files, so that old saves can work, but they will not be visible on the puzzle selection screens.
In addition, the game now supports localization and has been translated into 6 additional languages. I hope this will allow new players from around the world to enjoy the game :). Also it opens possibilities for additional languages in the future - which is now just a matter of getting the texts translated.
Also, the game will be on 50% sale to celebrate the update. Starting now!
Below is the comprehensive list of changes in this update:
Main Menu changes
Language Selection button There is a new button in the bottom left of the Main Menu that allows you to select your language.
What's new menu What's new menu (the bell icon on the main menu) has been reverted to the old version. Since patch notes are not translated, the menu will now link back to the Steam update page with the details.
New Puzzles! All previously available Base puzzles (generated with AI) were removed. Instead of them, a new selection of images is available for the Base package. Other packages were not changed, since they were not AI generated. Old saves are still available to play.
Other changes
Bugfixes Bug that caused the game to crash on exit with big puzzle counts (>2000) should now be fixed.

After last big update, a couple of bugs sneaked by, so I'll be addressing some of them. There are also new features, because some quality of life is always good to see :).
Below is the comprehensive list of changes in this update:
Main Menu changes

Custom Puzzles image preview When selecting files to create custom puzzles, you will now see an image preview of the selected file.
What's new menu What's new menu (the bell icon on the main menu) has been reworked. It will now show patch notes ingame, instead of opening an external link to Steam announcement.
Pause Menu changes

Static puzzle highlight toggle As per requested, it's now possible to turn on the legacy behavior of the puzzle piece shader. When enabled, the puzzle piece highlight/shadow will be static (as in rotate with the piece), and will hint at the correct puzzle piece orientation. The option is available in Pause Menu > Gameplay > Static puzzle piece shadow.
Audio sliders tooltip Audio volume sliders will now show a tooltip when hovered. The tooltip displays the current percent value of the slider.
Adjusted default settings Default starting rotation is now set to 90 degree. Default puzzle piece snapping is now set to 40% instead of 100%, which was too much to start with. Only the default values changed, if the setting was adjusted before, the saved value will be used.
Other changes

Added an additional check in save data to check for corrupted files and use the backup save in such case.
Bugfixes

Fixed a bug that caused the Sort By Section order to be flipped in ~200 pc puzzles (again).
Fixed a bug that caused custom puzzles tagged at creation to not save the tag properly.
Fixed a bug that caused zen mode starting puzzle piece to be shifted

New puzzle pack
Cats and Dogs puzzle pack is available for download. It's a separate DLC that contains additional puzzles. Of course, as with any update, this is free to download. It contains 20 free puzzles and 64 additional ones for owners of the Full Unlock DLC.
Pause Menu changes

Custom Backgrounds Background selection has changed. Now there's an additional menu in Pause Menu > Display > Customize. This menu allows to click on a desired background to select it instead of cycling through all backgrounds. There's also an option to add any number of custom backgrounds with a color of your choice!
Pixel perfect toggle You can now disable pixel perfect pickup. This means that instead of having to click on a visible pixel of a puzzle piece, you can select it by clicking on the area it occupies.
Borderless fullscreen option You can now select Borderless Fullscreen as a window type.
Congratulation confetti toggle You can now disable confetti effect playing after the puzzle is finished.

Fixed a bug that caused the Sort By Section order to be flipped
Fixed a bug which moved the puzzle piece randomly after picking it directly after interacting with a second monitor
Puzzle piece bevel no longer shows the correct puzzle piece orientation
Updated the game engine to Godot 3.5.3

New puzzle pack: Classic puzzle pack is available for download. It's a separate DLC that contains additional puzzles. All new puzzle packs will be added in a similar way, so they can be added/removed freely. Of course, as with any update, this is free to download. It contains 20 free puzzles and 50 additional ones for owners of the Full Unlock DLC.
Main Menu changes:

Puzzles are now grouped into tabs: For original puzzles, each tab represents a puzzle pack. For custom puzzles, each tab contains puzzles tagged with a specific tag.
Custom puzzles tagging: You can now create tags for custom puzzles to sort them more easily. Tags can be freely added, removed and renamed. Only one tag per puzzle is allowed, so if you add a puzzle to a new tag, it will be moved out from the old one. There is a special tab - 'All', which can not be modified and will contain all custom puzzles. You can access the tagging feature by clicking the tag icon when Custom puzzles are selected.
Favorite puzzles: In addition to tags, there is now favorite functionality as well. Favorite puzzles will be moved to the top of their respective tab. You can access this function by clicking the star icon in the main menu.
Hover animations were changes for puzzle thumbnails and save slots to no longer blur the images.
Add custom puzzle button got moved. It's now together with the Favorite and Tab button on top.
Other changes:

Custom cursors: There are now multiple custom cursors for different situations.
Bigger puzzles: The puzzle size limit was increased to 8000 pieces. When selecting piece counts over 2000, a warning tooltip appears. It can be disabled in the options menu.
Control info: You will now see a panel with mouse controls changing dynamically in-game. There's also a popup with hotkeys available by pressing the F2 key (also mentioned in the controls panel). The controls panel can be hidden/shown by pressing F1 key, or selecting a corresponding option in the options menu.
Puzzle preview in-game was fixed: Previously, puzzle preview was a bit hidden and many people asked about this functionality not knowing it was in the game already. There is now a button to access puzzle preview (of course Tab key can be used as well).
Third spread - Spiral.
Starting camera zoom level now changes depending on the piece count.
New backgrounds added.
Multiselected pieces can now be rotated.
There is now a percentage progress indicator when generating a new puzzle.
Pieces locking in frame can be disabled now (for classic mode): This setting is on a per save basis and can be changed in the Customize menu. Default option can be selected in the options menu. This cannot be changed after the puzzle is generated.
Right click menu now has 'Unstuck' option which will spread joined pieces in addition to single ones.
Small variations in puzzle shapes were added.
Options menu is now grouped into section using tabs
