Now that ANTONBLAST has fully wrapped, we’ve decided to release a VM branch of the game. What this means is: YES, you can mod the game! (at the code level!) Feel free to fix it, break it, or fuck it up as you see fit; it’s your game now.
All you need to do is install the vm_public branch on Steam.
I know this is something many of you have been looking forward to for some time now... Very excited to see what everyone comes up with!
The wait is over, Punks: THE END is now live on Steam. And so marks THE END of our major updates for ANTONBLAST. Of course, we may end up releasing some minor service updates as time goes on... but this is the final content update. This update is, as of now, the closest thing to
The wait is over, Punks: THE END is now live on Steam. And so marks THE END of our major updates for ANTONBLAST.
Of course, we may end up releasing some minor service updates as time goes on... but this is the final content update.
This update is, as of now, the closest thing to a definitive version of ANTONBLAST available. Our small team has been hard at work over the past months to put a neat bow on the game - addressing issues we had at launch, applying feedback we've received, and adding new content for good measure - and we think you'll really like the results.
Make no mistake, there's tons more we'd love to do... but that's probably best saved for another game, wouldn't you agree?
On a personal note: Thank you for over one year of support! This has been an incredible journey; making this game for you and sharing in the community was an experience beyond even our wildest imaginations. When I was first drawing Anton almost twenty years ago, I never could have conceived that he'd amass an audience of rabid punks excited to follow all of his weird adventures. You've made our dreams come true, that's for sure!
As for the future... All of us on the team can't wait to share what we're working on next. I can't give anything away today, but I think you'll be really surprised.
While this may be THE END of ANTONBLAST, it's only THE BEGINNING for SUMMIT.
Until next time, Punks...

Patch Notes
(Sorry for the delay, Punks, this section takes time to write because it's a lot. - Alex)
NEW STUFF
Added the FOUR Lime Trials, in each wing of the casino: Shark Tank in the East Wing, Lime's a Beach in the West Wing, Distilled Hill in the Top Floor, and Rubble Rumble in Hell's Waiting Room. A reveal cutscene will play when you first enter the respective rooms.
The Battle Arena has finished construction and is now accessible at the far side of Peanut Park after you have defeated The Final Boss. In order to enter it and begin the Boss Rush, you must first acquire the Battle Pass from the Backstage area right after the entrance. There you will also find the new encounters with the Demon Corp: Kaz, Bonny, Emile and The Computer. Defeat them all and gain access to their final show, where you must face ALL FOUR at once!
COMPLETELY REVAMPED THE LAYOUT OF THE PAUSE AND SETTINGS MENUS. The whole thing's just different! Different background, typeface, options, etc.!
SEVEN NEW LANGUAGE OPTIONS are available in the settings menu. The game now has eight languages in total: English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Latin-American Spanish and Brazillian Portuguese. These are courtesy of our community localizers, which you can now find in the staff roll.
FOUR new Achievements! Find the secrets of Peanut Park, chat up with Danton, win the Boss Rush and face all of the Lime Trials!
17 NEW SPRAY CANS! One is a reward from completing the Boss Rush, nine are hidden throughout the casino, and four can be obtained in the Hallowed Halls (note: one of these is a replacement of a previous Spray Can). The rest are purchaseable at Brulo's Shop.
DANTON is now present throughout Brulo's Casino. Talk to him after a delightful interaction during a stage to listen to what rosy reaction you get out of him!
NEW DIFFICULTY MODES! Two new difficulty modes can be selected upon starting a new game. Hard Mode is unlocked after clearing Boiler City on any save file, whereas S. Hard Mode is unlocked after beating the game on Hard Mode. These challenges get EXTREMELY difficult, are you sure you're up for it? NOTE: These modes ONLY change the difficulty of the game. All achievements and unlocks can be obtained regardless of difficulty. There are no additional achievements or any of the sort on the harder difficulties, don't do them if you can't!
NEW GAME MODE! After you have beaten the game once, you can choose to play a new save file in Stage Rush Mode. This is the same game, but there is no Casino portion. As soon as you finish a stage, it's on to the next one! You will still visit Brulo's Shop inbetween stages, however. Go as fast as you can!
DEVELOPER TIMES for the Time Trials that can be seen after you have beaten the game. Can YOU do better than the makers? NOTE: Developer Times are only available in the Normal difficulty.
EXPERIMENTAL REPLAY SYSTEM so that you can save your best runs at a stage and play them back later! You can watch saved replays from the Main Menu. WARNING: This feature is not 100% reliable. This is an extremely difficult mechanic to nail completely. For best results, do NOT pause the game at any moment during a stage run that you will want to save a replay of. If you wish to helpfully report any desyncs, make sure to have a full recording of your gameplay footage alongside your replay.

Hey, Punks.
It's been an entire year since ANTONBLAST first launched. Wow! Time sure does fly.
To celebrate the occasion, we've been working tirelessly on the final content update to ANTONBLAST, and we are proud to announce it TODAY. Prepare yourself for...
This is it. THE END of ANTONBLAST will be the game's final content update, bringing the remaining content promised to our Kickstarter backers, as well as a plethora of BRAND NEW content!
FEATURING...
...THE DEMON CORP
This band of bastards has been rehearsing each day for the Big Tournament, and now it's their time to shine. That's right, FOUR new (smaller-scale!) boss fights against each member of the Demon Corp. Claim your Prize Star by defeating each of them and be granted early access into their big show!
...THE BIG TOURNAMENT: THE BOSS RUSH
Danton has been laboring over day and night and has at last fulfilled his contract to bring the Big Tournament to life! Earn your Battle Pass and prepare to face ANTONBLAST's most grueling challenge: Face against the game's nine major boss fights without facing a knock-out and claim your title of Tournament Champion! There is a big cash prize in it for the winner, too.
...THE LIME TRIALS
The mysterious Lime Trials make their appearance. Defeat the big baddie of each wing of Brulo's Casino, and you will be granted access to a new kind of timed challenge: Collect all Limes in the room before time runs out to recover the Souvenir Lime! And, if you feel like showing off after already collecting the Souvenir Lime, claim cash prizes especially if you beat your best time!
...NEW GAME MODES
As promised to our supporters, our Hard Mode and Stage Rush Mode will finally make their appearance. In Hard Mode, face the challenges of ANTONBLAST with little extra help and stricter, harder stages and bosses. Satan's troops are a little more prepared this time! In Stage Rush, blast through the twelve stages and eight bosses of the Adventure campaign as fast as you can! Hard Mode will automatically unlock for any players who have already cleared the first stage in game; Stage Rush will automatically unlock for any players who have defeated the Final Boss. But, could there be more...?
...DANTON
Now that Danton's work around the Casino is mostly finished, you will find him perusing the area. Feel free to talk to him, he's really happy about it!
...NEW SOUNDTRACK AND SOUND WORK
Our updated ANTONBLAST Soundtrack will be wholly replacing the existing tracks in the game. Furthermore, we have extensively touched up our sound design and have totally rebalanced and adjusted the soundscape of the game to prevent audio clipping and other nasty artifacts. The result is the game won't be as ear-piercingly loud, meaning you can get a much cleaner view (hearing?) of what is actually going on at any given moment in the game and don't need to turn the audio down so low. It is a much more pleasing experience on everyone's ears. We have also shifted some sounds around, but you'll have to play the game to hear the difference!
...NEW TRINKETS
Brulo's Shop has been restocked with various new items, such as the Virtual Visor, Game Brick and Pet Paint (harmless, non-toxic). Experience Anton and Annie's Adventure under... a different light.
...NEW SPRAY CANS
SIXTEEN new Spray Cans have been added, bringing the total to 110. Most will be hidden, strewn around Brulo's Casino and Peanut Park, so be sure to be look around carefully!
...NEW ACHIEVEMENTS
FOUR new achievements for you to figure out and, well, achieve! Discover the secrets of Peanut Park and engage with the new stages and boss fights and (re-)claim your Perfect title on ANTONBLAST!
...NEW LANGUAGE SUPPORT
That's right, you will be able to experience the glorious text and interface of ANTONBLAST in a total of EIGHT languages: English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Latin-American Spanish and Brazillian Portuguese. We hope our more international Blasters appreciate and enjoy the work our community localizers have put into the game!
...LOTS OF BUG FIXES
I mean, I hope you're not surprised about it! The team has put TREMENDOUS work into polishing up ANTONBLAST into being the best game ever. We hope it reached that standard now!
...AND MORE!
There is a LOT more that you will see that we have not talked about here. It will all be made clear... in THE END.

ATTENTION RUSSIAN BLASTERS!
We've heard you loud and clear... so we've PERMANENTLY dropped the ANTONBLAST price in Russia to 419 Rubles - that's over 40% cheaper than before!
That's right, PERMANENT. No sale timer, no countdown, no "get it while it's hot" - it's just staying that way. Although ANTONBLAST has sold well - and continues to do so - we want to make sure that as many players as possible are able to access the game, so we've updated pricing to better reflect standards in the region.
Hey, punks: So, the GameMaker Awards are happening, and honestly? We'd be lying if we said your nomination wouldn't make our day. If ANTONBLAST gave you a good time this year, we'd appreciate you throwing us a vote for Best Game of 2025 before nominations close on October 16th. H

As always, we appreciate you. Really.
And yeah, we're cooking up some cool stuff that we can't wait to show off... when it's ready.

ANTONBLAST is 25% off until September 24th! Deepest discount ever, get it while it's REALLY hot!
AND, we are very proud to announce that we are adding a VB mode in the next major ANTONBLAST update. You will be able to play the game in this mode by purchasing the Virtual Visor from Brulo's for a measly 770,000 casino chips. You can then turn it on and off at any time by accessing the "Goodies" menu from your pause screen. ...wait, what?
...Speaking of that update, perhaps you may already know what else is coming?
You asked. We (finally) delivered: The ANTONBLAST Original Soundtrack is crash landing onto your favorite music platforms THIS FRIDAY, June 27th. Features every single cut in the game, fully remixed from the ground up. Accept no imitators.

Hey punks,
It's been a bit, hasn't it?
The fine folks at Valve have asked us if we'd like for Anton to partake in their Daily Deal. Thankfully, he granted us power of attorney a long time ago, so once we were able to straggle him down long enough to be sedated, we figured "Why not?"
As a result, ANTONBLAST is now 20% off for a limited time! If for whatever reason you were on the fence (why?), or you just have some friends you feel like giving the game to (lucky them), now would be the time to do it. I'm even okay with you giving me a bit less money for it right now.
"But a plain old discount surely isn't news!" I hear you cry. Personally, I think it is, but don't worry: there's more.
Today we've also launched our FIRST MAJOR UPDATE. It's live on Steam right now! It's absolutely gargantuan and covers a lot of issues we(you) had with the game... PLUS some new features.
That's far from the last update we have planned, though. Stay tuned for more news on that.
I'm also proud to say that we're (FINALLY) submitting the ANTONBLAST soundtrack for release today! This has been an incredibly long time coming - sorry - but I can promise you it's worth it. Each track has been fully remixed from the ground up from its original version in the game, meaning these are the DEFINITIVE versions with improved mixing + mastering, and even some never-before-heard sections. Accept no imitators!
Steam requires us to keep the OST store page visible for a few weeks prior, so if you see it ahead of time but can't purchase... that's why. We can't make it go any quicker, sorry!
I'll let Alex take the patch notes away below...
Until next time, punks.
