Content Guidelines
◆Introduction
Xeen Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as "Xeen") has established the following content guidelines (“Content Guidelines) so that more people can learn about and enjoy "SAMURAI CHALLENGE", a game software, (hereinafter referred to as "the Software") that is provided by Xeen.
Please note that the Content Guidelines is subject to change without notice; therefore, you shall check the latest Content Guidelines before posting your entries. Xeen accepts no liability whatsoever for any damage or other loss incurred as a result of change of the Content Guidelines. Please be aware of forementioned before publishing, distributing, or posting videos of derivative works of the Software.
◆About Use of Materials
You may post Images (including screenshots) used in the Software on websites or social networking sites. You may also create a website based on the Software as long as the website is made for non-commercial purposes. You may resize, edit, and modify the images. However, when you use any of the images used in the Software, you need to include the following copyright statements in part or at the bottom of each screen.

You may use the logos if you wish to introduce the Software on your website or social networking sites. Please note that the logos that can be used are limited to those in the press kit on the official website.
It is prohibited to use the transcriptions of the scenarios in the Software as is, or to create new novels, scripts, and others beyond the scope of quotation. However, you may quote portions of the Software's setting, scenario, and others in its secondary works.
◆About Derivative Works
We understand a derivative work to be a creation of a new work based on the Software using the customer's own originality, ingenuity and ideas.
Derivative works in relation to the Software created by individuals or organizations other than commercial entities or groups (e.g. coterie circles) may only be used and published if the following conditions are met.
- The Derivative Works shall be for non-profit use.
- The Derivative Works shall not directly use Software’s materials (illustrations, videos, logos, etc.) by ways of quoting, scanning, tracing or otherwise using from the Software.
- The Derivative Works shall not deviate from or damage the image of the Software (world view, characters, etc.).
- The Derivative Works shall not infringe or threaten to infringe the rights of others.
- You shall not be engaged in any activities that misrepresent yourselves as official or authorized by Xeen, or any actions that you could be misinterpreted as official or authorized by Xeen.
- The content of the Derivative Works shall not offend public order and morals, laws, and regulations.
- The content of the Derivative Works shall not be defamatory or slanderous to the Software or to Xeen and shall not damage social credibility or reputation of Software or Xeen.
- The Derivative Works shall not or threaten to violate the Contents Guidelines or the other contacts or agreements.
- Creation, display, and distribution of illustrations, figures, dolls, and other three-dimensional works.
- Creation, display, and distribution of cosplay costumes.
- Distribution, exhibition, screening, and publication on websites of cosplay photos and videos.
- The creation, exhibition, distribution, and sale of fanzines and fangames are permitted as long as those are not an overly commercial in nature.
Please create derivative works at your own risk. In the event that any trouble arises between users as a result of published derivative works, such trouble shall be resolved between the relevant users, and Xeen assumes no responsibility whatsoever.
◆About Video Posting
You may post and distribute videos on YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, and other video sharing sites for game strategies, introductions, play-by-play, and commentary of the Software.
You may also post your videos on your own website for non-commercial purposes. However, you may not promote the contents you have created as an official video of Xeen.
If you wish to distribute live games or post videos, please be advised that you shall comply with the following.
- Do not use for commercial or for-profit purposes. However, monetization using the system on the posted video distribution site is not deemed to be a commercial purpose under the interpretation of Content Guidelines, so you may use aforementioned monetization functions without causing any problems.
- If your postings contain “spoilers”, which reveals important plot or story of the Software, please make sure to indicate "spoilers" or the like so as not to deprive other users of the enjoyment of the Software by your postings.
- Xeen prohibits videos that do not include your creativity or comments, or videos that are intended to promote your own or a third party's products, services, political activities, or religious activities.
- You shall not be engaged in any activity that misrepresents or may mislead others into believing that you are an official or authorized representative of Xeen.
- Xeen prohibits the posting of any content that is libelous, defamatory, or damaging to the reputation or credibility of the Software or Xeen, that is deemed offensive to public order and morals, or that infringes or may infringe upon the rights of others.
◆Lastly
It is not necessary to contact us regarding the publication or distribution of derivative works or video distribution as long as those are in compliance with Content Guidelines. However, even if you do not violate these Content Guidelines, we may request that you stop using the copyrighted material or delete it if we deem it inappropriate or contrary to public order, morality or laws and regulations. In such cases, please follow our instructions. In addition, please understand that you may be asked to compensate for any damages incurred as a result of such actions.
