The new Wardudes update is out now!
Version 1.46 features some cool aesthetics improvements, in preparation for story mode!

Completely remodeled faces, now with animated eyes and mouths
Inactive dudes now play random animations while waiting for their turn
Inactive dudes will also react to you presence when you get near them
Jump in the action and check out the new animations! There's some funny stuff to see!
This update also features some code optimizations and a fix to a bug related to vehicles in multiplayer.
The game logo has also been updated, as well as all the store screenshots and graphics.

Thank you for playing Wardudes during this last year and giving my project a chance even in the alpha stage!
To celebrate Wardudes turning 1 year old, here's update 1.45 also known as the beta release
With this update we added:
Non gameplay related

New and improved textures for every model of the game, including terrains
Improved tree models and particle effects
Improved drop plane model (now with a pilot in it!)
Winter themed main menu
Dudes now drop with a parachute when the game starts
Gameplay related

2 vehicles: the tank and the jeep, each with specific mechanics!
Hiding bushes, to make yourself immune from bullets!
Coconuts falling from palm trees when you hit them (watch your head!)
We also fixed some old bugs and drastically improved performance in the lobby menu!
More vehicles will be added in future updates, along with new weapons, items and maps!
...there's also a new game mode currently being designed...

Here's update 1.44 of Wardudes, the last one before the beta release!
With this update we added:

Controls settings Change the controls to suit your preference!
New languages The game is now also localized in Russian and Chinese! Also, the tutorial has been translated in all available languages, and some existing translations were improved!
We're working hard on getting the beta release ready for December, so get ready for it!
Remember that with the beta release, the price will increase.

It took some time, but update 1.42 is here, with a lot of new and improved things!
Major changes

Added Nutshots and headshots effect, with custom death animations (they have no gameplay effect at the moment)
Badly hurt dudes now have a cast on a random limb, and they walk slower
Sprint button has been disabled, base walking speed is increased
Crouching speed is decreased, now crouching disables detection from mines and turrets
Changed all the starting items of each class (I need your feedback about this)
Dudes now have animated hands with fingers, all animations have been updated with hand gestures, and new animations have been added!
New weapon: The Raygun Shoot an electric ray to your enemy to shock them to the bone, and create an electrical chain effect with all the other nearby dudes!
Minor changes

New splashy blood effect
Jetpack fuel duration decreased
Eccess damage is now shown when a dude is killed instead of it being rouded up to their remaining HP

NEW CUSTOM RULES
Click the game rules button in the game lobby to modify the game rules, now with new options!

Reduced starting health
Disable fall damage
Give all items to all dudes
Infinite ammo (might result in crashes from excessive numbers of ladders)
Also, bots now are better at taking their aim.

New item: Turret gun

Place the turret wherever you want
You have a couple seconds to get away after placing it, it activates at the end of the turn
Once it's activated, it will automatically aim and shoot at any dude who walks nearby
Every class is equipped with one (for now)
Lobby UI changes:

Class selection buttons now also show the class name
You can see what classes the other players are selecting in the player list on the right
New sound effects have been added for: machine gun, teleport, turret, mouse bomb and flying cameras.
An experimental inventory UI has been added, let us know what you think about it!

Here's update 1.33 of Wardudes, with 4 new items!
New item: Teleport

Select any location on the map to teleport to
Teleporting ends your turn
Every class is equipped with one (for now)
New item: Air strike

Select any location on the map to strike
An airplane will arrive, dropping a bomb on the selected location
Every class is equipped with one (for now)
New item: Cluster bomb

Use it as a normal grenade
When it explodes it will launch 5 minibombs in random directions
Every class is equipped with one (for now)
New item: Rat bomb

Hold the fire button to make it last longer
As soon as you finish charging it, it will run away, bouncing around
Once its charge ends, it will make a massive explosion!
Every class is equipped with one (for now)
The inventory UI has also been modified to accomodate for the larger amount of items.

Update 1.32 of Wardudes has arrived, bringing a new item and a new exciting mechanic!
New item: Jetpack

Hold the fire button to fly around the map
Using the jetpack doesn't end your turn, but it has a limited amount of fuel
Be careful of fall damage!
Every class is equipped with one (for now)
New mechanic: Mid-Air shooting

You can now use some items mid-air
Your dude will temporarly stop to take the shot
Be careful of fall damage! (again)

This Friday will be the first Wardudes Gameday!
Let's all meet in game at the same time to play some Wardudes together! (let's also see if the online system can handle it)
If you have some spare time on Friday 10 open up the game and see if there's a server waiting for players, or create your own server and someone might join your game!
If you're not already in it, join our Discord Server to check if someone is available to play!
I will personally be waiting for players during the following hours:

From 9:00 to 12:00 (CET)
From 15:00 to 18:00 (CET)
During this hours, I will have an open server to join, and I will be available on Discord.
If you don't see any server available during this time it might be because the game has already started, in that case contact us on Discord and we will have you join us!

Fixed

Non-server players movement is now much smoother
Fixed a bug that prevented online players from using picked up objects
Fixed a bug where the camera wouldn't follow the currently controlled dude
Fixed a bug where the outer barrier on Moonlanding wasn't visible for some players
Fixed a bug where the wrong drop icon was shown on the minimap
Drops parachute is now removed if the drop falls on a tree
New

Lava Canyon has been modified for better navigation
Replaced trees on Lava Canyon with cactuses (cacti? cactie?)
Added destroy effect for palm trees
Other dudes now turn their heads towards currently controlled dude
Some projectile now move faster
Balancing changes

Increased range of the cannon in Shipwreck
Next update will focus more on adding new content, so get ready for that!

New Wardudes update is here, with more bugfixes and some new stuff too!
Update 1.30 includes:
Fixed

Rifle and airplane sound volume have been reduced
Fixed a bug where multiplayer games got stuck in loading until a button was pressed
Fixed a bug where sometimes the annuncer would say your time is running out after using a weapon
If a dude dies from poison on turn start, the turn goes to another dude on the same team (instead of skipping the team's turn)
Improved stability on low performance PCs
Improved smoothness of airplane movement in multiplayer games
New

There's now a minimap in the bottom left!
The wind indicator has been changed and moved near the minimap
New coughing animation plays whenever a dude takes poison damage on turn start
Balancing changes

Dudes movement speed has been reduced
