Update 1.3 is LIVE NOW! This free update to Robo Maestro adds 4 new instruments to bring out those eighties and EDM vibes, and adds Twitch integration for fun streaming possibilities!
Using these features a musician streamer can do a duet with their audience! The audience controls Robo Maestro through chat, while the musician jams along to Robo Maestro. Through the green screen option, you can even put yourself next to Robo Maestro on screen!

Added 4 new electronic drums instruments:

Dancehall
Linndrum
Simmons
Tape 909
Added a new "Streaming & Jamming" menu that lets you set up Twitch integration as well as control some options to make the music easier to jam along to.
Streaming/Twitch options:

Set the name of your Twitch channel (the chat from this channel controls the music in Maestro Mode)
Greenscreen option (so you van place a webcam video of yourself next to the robot when streaming)
Set a Twitch account to let Robo Maestro post to chat (optional)
Jamming options:

Option to make chords simpler (when enabled, all chords in a loop fit on the starting chord of that loop)
Option to disable mid-song speed changes in Maestro Mode
Option to let a song automatically end after a certain amount of time

Bugfixes

Fixes to drum rolls in songs:

Fixed that when exporting a song, drum rolls would play at the wrong moment and wrong speed, causing the whole song to sound garbled
Fixed that often when you started a song in the song editor, it would immediately play a drum roll (it still sometimes does that, but now it should be very rare instead of happening often)
Fixed that when you stopped a song in the song editor while a drum roll was playing, the drumroll wouldn't stop immediately
Fixed that songs without drums wouldn't choose a consistent instrument for drum rolls (might change after reboot or based on what you played before)
Fixed that if you pressed randomise on a muted layer, the layer would become audible but the mute button would still claim it was muted
Next seed button now stays in the same position instead of jumping left and right depending on the value of the seed
Future updates
Stay tuned for future updates, which will add a bunch of electronic drum instruments as well as modding: code your own layer generators!

This is a small update with a HUGE quality of life improvement for those who start doing more extensive creation with Robo Maestro: sorting and filtering the list of loops! Here's what's in this update:
In the drop down to select a loop you now get additional options. Note that these ONLY appear when there are at least 20 loops. These are the filtering options:
Sort by name, by name (descending), by recently opened and by recently created.
Option to filter loops by typing in text (only loops with that text in the name are shown).
Option to hide all loops starting with "Unnamed".
Option to hide all loops starting with "Maestro Autosave".
Fixed a bug that made it possible to rename a loop to a name that was already in use, after which one of the loops wasn't selectable anymore until the game was restarted.

It's only been a week, and here's update 1.1 already! Bringing a nice set of new musical capabilities and polish, all for free! Here's the complete changelist:

Added a button to delete Loops.
Added a button to the menu that shows that you can use your Robo Maestro creations any way you like, including commercially (this was already on the Steam store page, but apparently many people didn't notice it there).
Fixed that in the Song Editor the playhead would be covered by the scrollbar if the song was long enough to need a scrollbar.
Increased the chance of getting an Evolve Melody action in Maestro Mode.
The menu now shows the version number.

It's awesome to see Robo Maestro being used in the wild! Thanks, everyone who writes a review, shares a song online, reports bugs, gives suggestions or just has a good time with Robo Maestro! I'm making this for the fun of it, and nothing brings more fun than knowing others are enjoying my little procedural generator.
I saw some questions from people asking whether I have a Patreon or whether they can buy DLC to support me or something like that. I don't, but there's a different way of supporting me: marketing! You could write a review on Steam, share your creations on socials or tell your friends about Robo Maestro. That's the kind of thing that would really help me right now, so if you feel like it: please do!
So, now that it's live, let's have a quick look at what's coming. Here are the things I have planned to add to Robo Maestro in the coming weeks (for free!):

A bunch of synth bass instruments
A bunch of electronic drum instruments (mostly eighties drum machines)
A bunch of slightly eerie instruments (might turn into a new instrument category if I find enough of these)
Modding: the possibility to program new algorithms for the layer generators using LUA
A button to delete loops
Fix that the playhead isn't visible in Song Editor when the song is long enough to have a scrollbar
The modding bit is what I'm personally most excited about, because it could expand the capabilities of Robo Maestro enormously. For example, a modder could write a new drum generator, or a new melody generator. This is super cool for those who are into coding, because you can very quickly dive into music generation without needing to do all the hassle of getting notes to work. But it's also cool for everyone else, because you get to enjoy more varied music generation.
At first I'll release the modding tools without adding Steamworks support, because that's a lot of additional work. If a tiny modding community spawns from this, I'll consider adding Steamworks support too.
Beyond what's mentioned above, what would you like to see added to Robo Maestro?

Robo Maestro OUT NOW!
The full version of Robo Maestro has released and it's FREE! Compared to the demo version, you now have the exporter (to WAV, MIDI and text), the song editor, new choir instruments and a bunch of tweaks and fixes. Enjoy! I'd love to hear your creations! If you share them on Twitt
