Object Pickup in House: Fixed an issue where players were unable to pick up an object dropped near a chalkboard in House.

Reclusa Chase Speed: Nerfed Reclusa's chase speed.
Map Order: Changed the map order at selection to improve the experience for new players, starting with House.
What’s next?

The next update will be v1.1, including public lobbies and other enhancements, plus a special challenging in-game event with exclusive rewards!
We are aware of a bug where the Doctor remains standing in front of a bookshelf on the staircase in the library and doesn't move until spotting a player. We have investigated but have not yet found the cause of the problem. Does he just want to read some books?

Player-Insect bug in Locker: Fixed the issue where a player, after being killed in a locker, could get stuck inside the locker in insect form.
Player items bug in Locker: Fixed the issue where player items could get stuck in a locker after the player is killed in it.
Locker wrong indication: Fixed the issue where the eyes indicator on the locker could be visible even when there is already a player inside.
Locker in walls (Metro): Fixed an issue where Reclusa couldn't reach a player hidden in a "special locker" in the Metro map (the ones embedded in walls).
Elevator start in the ground (Metro): Cleaned up the elevator animation to prevent it from starting in the floor.
Doctor bug in Secret Lab (House): Fixed an issue in the House map where the Doctor could get stuck in the Secret Lab.
Enhancements

Twitch integration:

It's now only available for the host of the game to prevent issues when clients use it.
Added a parameter to adjust the frequency of duels (fast, average, slow).
Added an audio feedback when a duel starts.
FOV slider: We have added an FOV slider! (finally...)
Outfit count: Added an outfit count on the map selection and pause menu.
Friend search bar: Added a search bar in the Lobby invite panel.
What’s next?
We are hardly working to fix an issue with the Twitch Integration where, in some games, only the "good" or "bad" command was functional and hoping to push a fix tomorrow. We are also currently looking on removing the limitation of games to Steam friends only and making games public so strangers can play together. We are also looking on an option to disable camera shake to help players sensitive to motion sickness.

We are quite happy to announce that we have reached 10,000 Seekers who have faced the Silent Rain! 🎉
This is a huge number for us because this is our first game and we self-published it, with few people and almost no budget. We would never have imagined that 10,000 human beings, sometimes on the other side of the world, could play something we created. So thank you very much for everything. It remains an immense pride for us to have made Silent Rain.
Unfortunately, the game is still at a "mixed" review ratio on Steam.
For most of you sending us love on Discord or socials and posting positive reviews, you seem to be having a great time with Silent Rain, enjoying the immersion and challenge that the experience offers.
But it seems that for too many players, the game is still confusing, not understanding what to do despite the fact that we focused a lot on this part and added the Supervisor feature, but it seems not to be enough. We will therefore continue to collect your feedback, watch the videos and lives that you make (thanks for that) and find solutions to continue to improve the game, publish Hotfixes, and ensure that everyone can have a good time with Silent Rain. Any suggestions are welcome, so don't hesitate.
Anyway, we are taking advantage of this post and this symbolic goal of 10,000 players to announce that we have published a Supporter Edition on Steam which, as the name suggests, is intended for those who would like to give us even more support. If you already have the base game or the soundtrack, you can still buy it; this will deduct the price of the bundle.

We are thrilled to announce that we have surpassed 10,000 Seekers who have faced the Silent Rain!
We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has tested the game, recommended it to friends, and shared their experiences through streams and videos. It has been an immense fun for us to watch you play and see your reactions.
Thanks to your feedback, we have identified and fixed several bugs with this hotfix.
Here are the details:
Bug Fixes

Monster locking on place (Metro): We resolved an issue causing Reclusa (the monster on Metro) "vibrating" or making back and forth without where to go.
End Game Portal Bug (Metro): Fixed an issue where the game would state the player had not seen behind the portal, even if they had.
Map Exploits (Metro): Fixed various locations in Metro where players could exit the map or get stuck in the environment.
Falling Shelf Bug (House): Fixed an issue in House where players could get stuck in the metal shelf that falls when passing underneath.
Fixed Chase Music Issue: Resolved an issue where chase music would continue playing during the final cutscene.
Cocoon Exit Dialogue: The supervisor no longer repeats the exit phrase to everyone after leaving the cocoon.
Twitch Widget Errors: Resolved launch errors with the Twitch widget.
Intro Video Timing: Fixed incorrect timing format for the intro videos.
Enhancements

Twitch integration: optimization of Twitch integration to avoid a crash as much as possible when the player's computer cannot handle too many calls.
Disease Effect Rework (Metro): Reworked the disease effect in the Metro area to enhance visibility and make Heal Stations stand out more clearly.
Heal Station Indicators (Metro): Added green/red lights inside Heal Stations to indicate when they are usable or not.
Voice Chat Info Text: Added an information text in the voice chat parameters to help players understand the settings better.

So just a little hotfix :

Fixed a bug where player footsteps no longer alerted the Doc.
Fixed a bug when being killed at the exact same time when interacting with a locker and after breaking free from the cocoon the player could get stuck.
Move the inventory UI to centralized it at the bottom of the screen and leave a better readability of the environment (let us know what you think about it).
Do not hesitate to test this fixes and give us feedback

We are proud to present the Early Access Patch #7 that comes with many changes relative to the inventory, objectives exposition, Doctor & “death mode”.
This Patch #7 will be the last one for the early access of Silent Rain.
The next update of the game will be for the 1.0 Version that include the 2nd map “Lost In Metro”.
For the occasion, a little message from the dev team:
Since we released Silent Rain in early access on October 20, we haven't stopped working hard to provide an experience that meets our ambitions. We acknowledge that the project was launched with numerous bugs and some design issues, and we apologize if Silent Rain left you disappointed. We are a small team of developers and this is our very first game, but we have always strived to do our best, and then some.
We sincerely hope that this final patch (along with the six others before it) will allow you to enjoy the time you spend in our game. And to all the players who continued to play the game, sent us kind words, and provided feedback: Thank you from the bottom of our hearts ❤️

Now lets dive in the details of this new patch !
New features

New "Supervisor" feature that guide the player on the objectives in the game.

You can call them at anytime to be reminded of your current objective!
New "Dead" feature that transform a dead player into a bug that screams at other players when too close. This replaces the previous "Ghost" feature.

Screams alert the Doctor, so be careful… Or evil 😈
The UV Lamp is now physically hold in the right hand.

Others items are hold in the left hand.
Two new Achievement to unlock that go with the new "Dead" feature.
Enhancements

New Inventory display and new feedback on picking items.
New Stamina bar (now on center of the screen).
New Hints on different mechanics (cocoon, drawer opening, uv lamp).
The Doctor now has a deathcam (first iteration, a better animation is coming).
New settings to disable different parts of the UI.
Audio polish.
Balancing

The Doctor’s difficulty has been lowered (he will loose you more quickly now, he hears from less far, he's a bit slower too)
Bug Fixes

Sometimes, the ticking sound of the pocket watch didn't play.
The Doctor could know you were in a locker without seeing you enter it.
When the Doctor slashed you the moment you entered a locker, you would have been teleported back to the locker after being freed of the cocoon.
The music relating to the Doctor's state could double or even triple during the game, making the audio very confusing.
Sometimes the music of the game did not stop when returning to the menu.
Sometimes, the symbols were hard to reveal.
When you started a game, the player’s speed could be incorrect.
Your distinctive skin color could be back to default after a revive.
When you got the “Good Ending”, the text would not appear correctly.
The controller would not always respond correctly in menus.
If you ran while opening the cameras panel, your stamina would continue to be drained.
When you entered the camera panel while crounching, you would still be counched when exiting it but would conserve standing speed.
Numerous other minor fixes.
Translations

The Supervisor has been translated into English and French and the translations for the other languages will come really soon.
🕒 What’s Next?

We’re all working very hard on our second map : Lost In Metro. It takes time but we’re trying to offer you the best experience we can with Silent Rain.
“Lost In Metro” will include :

An entirely new setting.
A new monster : Reclusa.
New Puzzles.
New Items.
New environment interactions.
New lore regarding the mysterious entity that lurks through the Silent Rain.
The playtests for “Lost in Metro” will begin this month (2024 May). Join our Discord for upcoming news.

We are quite happy today to present the Patch 6, one of the biggest patches we have made so far and present our complete rework of the player character.
Welcome to the "Seeker", the brand new agent you play as, and let's dive into the details of this patch!
New features

Player Character rework:

New player character model.
New player character movement animations.
New hand animations: the objects you pick up are now actually held in the hand.
Adding a new character customization system in the Lobby (we will continue to improve it in the coming patches).
New first person camera shakes (the option to remove it is currently disabled but we will put it back very soon).
Removed collisions between players, and added a character fadeout when you are too close.
New ragdoll death animation.
New tutorial pop-up when outlining a drawer for the first time.
New Feedback form on Main menu & Pause menu.
New Bug Report form on Main menu & Pause menu.
Enhancements

More coherent voice lines from the Doctor when he chases or loses track of the player.
Multiple improvements to ambient audio and player sounds.
New disgusting bugs swarming in the basement.
More optimization on network performance.
Better loading time when starting the game.

Balancing

Increasing player stamina.
Some tweak on Doctor detection senses and speed.
Game Over now only occurs when all players are in Ghost and not when they are all in a cocoon.

Fixed the breathing sound when having no more stamina that could loop indefinitely.
Fixed musics that can double after the Doctor teleport.
Fixed the camera shake that don't stop when going to Ghost mode.

Liaison Agent: The next patch will introduce a brand new non-player character which will allow the player to be better guided in their missions and which will add a whole new narrative layer. We can't wait to show you all this!

As we roll out the final Patch of 2023, we want to take a moment to wish each and every one of you a happy holiday season and a good time celebrating. We know 2023 has been a bit of a rollercoaster for the gaming industry, but hey, we made it! It's been a wild ride to release the Early Access of Silent Rain, but the passion and the incredible support that we received all along this year has been the force holding it all together. So, the Seedlers team is extremely grateful for doing what we love and bringing that extra bit of heart to everything we do.
As we look forward to an exciting 2024 with new developments, including the spine-chilling Metro map, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for your support and enthusiasm.
Now, let's dive into the details of the latest patch!
Enhancements

Continued improvement of the voice chat system with a new occlusion effect and a reverberation effect based on the size of the room.
When overlapping another player with your cursor, you will now be able to see their Steam name.
In the Settings, you can now find parameters that allow you to hide the UI and enter an "Immersive mode", in order to take clean screenshots for example.
Some minor audio improvements.
Some minor UI enhancements.
Some minor game optimization improvements.
Bug Fixes

Significant improvement in how network player interactions work (items, doors, drawers, etc.). This change completely fixes the bug where, by interacting with a drawer or a door, the player could find themselves with their camera blocked in the interaction.
Fixed a bug where chase music could duplicate over the course of a game.

🎄❄️ It’s time to celebrate the Christmas Season with Patch #3 of Silent Rain!
We are really happy to release our biggest patch yet, which continued to balance/polish the "House" map and addressed various bugs.
🗓️ The entire Seedlers team is working very hard to deliver a nice horror coop experience. Based on your feedback, more patches will arrive in the coming weeks/months to further stabilize and improve the experience, while we continue to work on the second map, "Metro." We are thrilled with what this new map has offered so far and can't wait to show you more in early 2024 🙂

Electricity system: Like the camera control screen, some machines are now disabled when the power is turned off.
Cocoon: A sentinel can now spawn when a player dies in a cocoon.
Enhancements

Voice chat: Reworked the voice chat system, now fully integrated with a new spatialization effect (just remember to adjust your gain and microphone threshold in the settings).
Controller support: It's now fully integrated (in-game & menu).
Leaderboard: The leaderboard now keeps track of the best time achieved.
Doc animations: The Doctor's run animation is now smoother to avoid a "sliding" effect.

Setting freezing: Fixed an issue where the Settings Menu freezes during opening.

Hello everyone,
We hope you had a great time during the Halloween festivities! 🎃👻
We're excited to introduce Early Access Patch #2, focused on enhancing the game experience.
In this update, we've addressed various game-breaking bugs and continued to balance the game to maintain its challenge while reducing frustration.
🗓️ The next patch (EA Patch #3) coming by the end of November will significantly enhance the game's network quality. We've identified and are working on resolving issues related to high-latency players encountering numerous new bugs, ensuring everyone can fully enjoy the game.
Once all these important issues are resolved, we will focus on adding new features and continuing the creation of the next map “Metro” which should arrive on Q1 2024.
Here's a detailed list of changes:
Bug Fixes

Game Crashes: Fixed crashes when returning to the main menu from in-game or the lobby on certain PC configurations, especially when in fullscreen mode. We believe this patch also resolves issues with the pause menu not opening with the ECHAP/TAB key.
Blocked Fireflies: Fireflies no longer get stuck when spawning, preventing game-breaking issues.
Blocking Stairs: Investigated and addressed a collision issue on basement stairs that could block player paths. We've applied an initial fix and continue to monitor the situation.
Secret Ending: Fixed an issue where boosted artifacts were not considered, preventing the completion of the secret ending.
Achievements: End-game achievements are now fully unlockable.
Occult Cards: All 30 cards can be found on the map, each offering access to a small secret 🤫
Numerous Minor Bug Fixes.
Balancing

Cocoon Gameplay: Building on changes from EA Patch #1, cocoon gameplay is now more accessible. Players can free themselves by successfully completing the QTE, but beware of player deaths in the cocoon 😈.
Sentinels: These foes now spawn more frequently when a player is sick, so be careful!
Enhancements

Objective Comprehension: Added images to paper notes for better understanding.
Improved Firefly Visibility and Speed.
Shared Blackboards: Blackboards can now be shared by all players.
Translations

Korean Translation: Enhanced for improved clarity and accuracy.

We're thrilled to announce the update for the Steam Scream Festival !
A big thank you to all the players who have provided feedback on bugs and game balancing. We couldn't do it without you ❤️
With this new update, our goal is to maintain the challenge by reducing unfair penalties.
Here's a more detailed list of changes:
New Features

Adding more challenge to QTE system in the Cocoon.
Added support for controllers.
Translations

Improved Chinese translation.
Improved Japanese translation.
Improved German (Deutsch) translation.
Bug Fixes

Resolved the issue of respawning outside the map after being saved.
Addressed the problem of items becoming inaccessible.
Fixed numerous minor bugs.
Balancing

Solo mode is now more accessible with the addition of passages within the cocoon and the option to leave it if the player successfully completes the QTE.
The doctor will no longer open the closet without a valid reason.
Reduced the likelihood of the doctor spotting you without clear justification.
The doctor now faces slightly more difficulty in pursuing you.
Enhancements

Improved audio mixing for the doctor's noises to enhance sound localization.
Added Halloween decorations 🎃
