Chapter 5 has arrived! Noah and his daughters continue toward the old base, encountering the site of the impact on the way. Secrets are revealed, and choices made that will shape the future of all. Every release we try to make the game better. This version has a major art refresh

Chapter 5 has arrived! Noah and his daughters continue toward the old base, encountering the site of the impact on the way. Secrets are revealed, and choices made that will shape the future of all.

Every release we try to make the game better. This version has a major art refresh. The Rebirth picture set was completely redone with new art by Dusifist. We also reduced the number of puzzles per picture to around 5 each, which seems to be a sweet spot.

The Family picture set also has some improvements, with Joyce Anne Cirineo lending a hand to make these slice-of-life stories even more compelling. The new hot springs picture is quite a treat!

This was a difficult journey for us to get this release out. Sorry for the long wait. We will try to have more than one update per year going forward! ːsteamfacepalmː

Major Features

Chapter 5 added.

Rebirth picture set completely redone with new art, and puzzles.
Family picture set updated with some new art and puzzles.

Minor Features

In puzzles, the dialog system now honors the AUTO setting, allowing users to click for each dialog line if they wish.
AUTO button is now available in ASMR mode.

Changes

Angelon model is completely rerigged. She is much more expressive now.
Spreading the Love achievement wording tweaked.
Various grammar corrections and line fixes to better match the recorded voices.
Cygni QCast voices now play in the voice channel instead of the music channel.
Small scripting timings and tweaks throughout the campaign visual novel.

Bug Fixes

Fixed snatchy puzzle, removing an errant tile way down at the bottom.
Fixed race conditions that could soft lock puzzles that are error-sensitive.
Rewrote the rating system so ratings effects can be balanced later without invalidating save files.
Fixed characters occasionally talking over each other when skipping dialogue
Fixed a soft-lock that can happen from errant keybinds triggering inaccessible screens.
Fixed a crash when launching the game while Steam is not logged in.

We're back! Sorry for the long delay. We had to go back and retool some things, fixed some bugs in our code with game saving that needed to happen before we go forward, looked at Chapters 1-3 and made them a little better, realized our plan for Chapter 5 was bad, so we are rewriting it. But now we're on track once again, and Chapter 4 is just around the corner!

We have added a new picture set: "Angeli's Choice".

It tells the heartwarming story of Angeli's adventures in high school with her not-boyfriend crush at the galaxy-famous Bergström Academy. These puzzles are easier than other picture sets. Fun for new players.

Introducing Puzzle Buddies! The daughters in your party can now help you with puzzles! Each character has their own power that can solve tiles for you. You can only use them a few times, so spend them wisely. Watch for these new gameplay mechanics starting in Chapter 2.

ASMR Mode now has a new, much more ASMR-y tileset named Clockwork. Thanks to ASMRSurge for his fantastic sound design on this! The original Chips tileset is also available for you to play in Picture and Random modes.

NOTE: This release invalidates older campaign saves. Sorry about that. We had to switch to a new format to address design issues. (Picture, Random, and ASMR Modes are unaffected.) For all you early adopters who completed levels, you will get free Puzzle Solves so you can speed through the puzzles you already did. Watch for the Solve button to use this feature.

* Better cut on the final scene in Chapter 1.
* Enpro Shield effect updated in Chapter 3.
* New game save format. Old campaign game saves are incompatible. Players who have broken saves get some free Puzzle Solves to make up for it.

Bug Fixes

* Tutorial 2 and 3 no longer steal hints from you.
* "Apologize to 129" objective is no longer hidden if you yell at her.

Known Issues

* Clockwork tileset is missing a puzzle completion jingle.
