We’ve been listening to your reports and this patch is focusing on the stability improvements around the client. Many softlocks and game-ending bugs should now be fixed.
Bug Fixes
Client and Gameplay Stability Improvements
Starting your turn should no longer cause a softlock.
Adjusting timers should no longer cause errors or softlocks.
Playing Plague-Stricken should no longer cause errors or disconnects.
Playing Income Tax should no longer cause a softlock.
Matches should no longer stall while opponents choose Lamashtu monsters.
Combat should always present the option to run away where applicable, preventing softlocks.
AI Stability Improvements
AI should no longer get stuck when playing Potion Master.
Card Specific Fixes
Now correctly unequips both one-handed weapons when equipping a two-handed weapon.
Dogslicer name now displays correctly when zoomed.
Cursed Thingy now modifies Coat of Arms as intended.
Combat UI now dismisses reliably to prevent softlocks.
Proper text now displays when opponents are selecting for Lamashtu's ability.
T-Bone Stake is now correctly treated as a two-handed item.
In Thieves’ Paradise, discarding a Class with Change Class now grants the new Class as expected.
Hex used with Sandpoint Devil now correctly affects the active combat.
Tutorial Improvements
The first tutorial no longer forces the player to lose.
Tutorial 2 prompt has been improved to be less confusing.
UI, Platform, and Miscellaneous Fixes
On phones, tooltips and zoom actions are disabled while holding a card.
“Shop Unavailable” text is now more legible on mobile.
“Online Play” title uses proper capitalization on mobile.
Goblin Rash animation now displays at the correct size.
Opponents’ timer sounds are no longer audible to other players.

Challenges Galore
Ready to put your Munchkin mettle to the test? Munchkin Pathfinder - Digital packs 10 brand new Challenges, each with a beefier “Heroic” variant that’ll have you questioning your life choices — or at least, cackling at your own misfortune.
These Challenges are tailored to Pathfinder’s unique cards and quirks, forcing you to adapt or get goblin-stomped. With unique rules and conditions in each scenario, these twists add replayability and the sweet, sweet satisfaction of overcoming the odds. (Or blaming the app when you lose?)

Gobstoppable
Oh boy, Goblin lovers (and haters), this one’s a swarm-tastic nightmare! In our first look at Munchkin Pathfinder - Digital, we mentioned how Goblins in hand can be used to help other Goblins in combat, turning encounters into an exercise of green-skinned crowd control. This Challenge will make you find out how many you can really handle — survive this, and you’re basically the Goblin King!
Potion Master

Greetings, munchkins! We’ve rolled out a hotfix addressing a number of bugs and issues that were identified in the wake of yesterday’s Munchkin Digital 2.0 release. We appreciate the efforts from our players who have reported any issues they’ve encountered, and our team is hard at work with more improvements along the way!
Bug Fixes
Players who own Pathfinder should now have access to all Pathfinder avatars.
Added a tooltip to locked Unnatural Axe and Clerical Errors avatars explaining how to earn them.
Corrected several instances where a missing text string would show up in non-english languages.
The modification to Run Away from the Eagle Knight’s Stand Fast ability should no longer persist across turns.
Magnificent Hat and Rune Giant should now display the correct dice roll values.
Added a jump-in window to use Trojan Horse when a monster is discarded by Magic Lamp.
Lobby chat should be available again for users on phones and tablets.
Added support for Chinese and Japanese characters in usernames.

The world of Golarion is yours for the taking in Munchkin Digital - Pathfinder, bringing the iconic characters, classes, and monsters of Paizo’s Pathfinder Roleplaying Game to your Munchkin Digital mischief! Introducing four new classes, special factions, and 168 new cards — including a smorgasbord of new monsters — all manner of mayhem awaits you in this new standalone expansion, now available as part of the 2.0 update!
In addition to the contents of the new expansion, Munchkin Digital 2.0 includes a variety of improvements, such as adjustments to the timers and a whole lot of bug fixes! A huge thank you to all of the munchkins out there who have submitted feedback — your reports are instrumental in helping us to kick down doors and squash as many bugs as possible!
Bug Fixes
The timer has been tweaked to help prevent animations from cutting into thinking time.
Ivy Kudzu Flytrap's Bad Stuff should now remove a Chicken on Your Head.
Progression should no longer be blocked in tutorial when gaining levels.
Restraining Order should now prevent AI from playing Potion of Cowardice.
You should now have to fight the Stoned Golem if your helper is a Gnome or Halfling.
Resolved an unintended interaction between Doppelganger and Bard's Enthrall ability.
Backstabbing with Stab-a-matic should now display the correct value in the action log.
Dungeon Casino's discard card result will no longer allow you to remove lingering Curse effects.
Improved the position of the button to restore minimized prompts on mobile devices.
Gnome Illusion should no longer persist if another player joins combat with Take Me Take Me.
Giant Skunk's Bad Stuff should no longer continue to affect an item that was given away to another player using Duck of Many Things.
You can now offer as many Treasures as you like when asking for help against a monster enhanced by Mommy.
A Clerical Errors Curse reflected by an effect such as Magnificent Hat should now state the name of the correct cursed player in action log.
Snot Elemental's Bad Stuff should now display correctly in the action log.
Players affected by Fools Gold should now be able to receive in-play Items for helping in combat.
Sleeping monsters can no longer become friendly and vice versa.
Chicken on Your Head should no longer interact with the die roll in the Dungeon of General Friendliness challenge.
Generosity should now take the correct number of cards from the cursed player.
Once an undead monster is removed by Restraining Order it should no longer enable other undead monsters to be added to the combat.
Various translation improvements.
Fixed a variety of rare conditions that could cause the game to freeze or end early.
AI should no longer invite level 9 Elves to help in combat.
AI should now consider Orc's ability to gain extra levels in combat decisions.

Greetings, fellow loot-hoarders! We recently announced that Munchkin: Pathfinder is crashing the party in the Munchkin Digital, and it’s coming soon to a device near you on December 9th! The worlds of Munchkin and the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game collide in this new standalone expansion, bringing you the Munchkin experience you know and love, with exciting new cards of all varieties straight from the fantasy world of Golarion.
For all you dungeon-dwellers who haven’t played Munchkin: Pathfinder on the tabletop, you may be wondering how this expansion differs from the Munchkin Digital you’re familiar with. Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered: join us as we spill the beans on some of the shiny new toys coming your way, because who doesn’t love having a few more ways to backstab your buddies?
Welcome to Golarion!
Strap in, adventurers, because Munchkin: Pathfinder yanks you out of the familiar dungeon crawl you’re used to, and plops you into the wild, wizardly world of Pathfinder’s Golarion! It’s a lovely place: ancient ruins teeming with eldritch horrors, legendary dragons who probably owe a lot in taxes, and enough gods to make your cleric’s head spin. This is a world where heroes aren’t born, they’re forged — often in the fires of bad decisions and cursed artifacts — but forged nonetheless, and that’s where you come in!
In Munchkin: Pathfinder, you’ll be building an adventurer, kicking down doors, and plundering treasure as you always have, but now with the lovely monsters of Golarion to contend with!
You’ll tangle with delights such as the Akata, a tentacled space beast that’s basically a cosmic cat with a grudge, or the absolutely lovely Bloatmage, who’s just dying to give you a hug! But it’s not all doom and gloom; these baddies — and the 168 new cards in this new expansion — come to you with familiar Munchkin flair, so you can count on cartoony art and hilariously hazardous punny perils to bring some levity to your adventures.
New Classes
There are four new classes in town, and they'll have you rethinking your whole stab-and-grab strategy! These aren’t your grandmother’s warriors and wizards — these are Golarion-flavored powerhouses ready to wreak havoc and chew bubblegum… and they’re definitely out of bubblegum.
Alchemist: These mad mixologists love going into battle with only their strongest potions, ready to lob them at their enemies for explosive delights, or turn them into gold for some sweet, sweet cash. In other words, the Alchemist gives you additional combat bonuses and gold pieces for Items that you play in combat and sell respectively.

Necromancer: When you have an undead entourage to do your bidding, is there really a reason to fight fair? The Necromancer sure doesn’t think so, and is all too happy to torment her friends[?] with shambling horrors by reviving monsters from the discard pile and adding them to the fight.

Summoner: Turn a solo scrap into a surprise party of pain with the Summoner, who is able to drag monsters from her hand into the fray and play them as one-shot combat bonuses. Who needs friends when you have a whole pocket dimension of backup?

Witch: Wherever the Witch goes, Bad Stuff follows. No, literally — the Witch can discard a monster and inflict their Bad Stuff on another player as a Curse. These crafty casters thrive on sabotage, slinging spells at their opponents and protecting themselves from Curses at the same time with the help of their trusty familiar.
Factions
Elf, Dwarf, so what? In Golarion, what’s really important are the cool secret clubs you’re in, and that’s why instead of Races, you’ll be joining a faction instead! Factions, much like classes, give you unique perks, each one incentivizing a different playstyle in your adventuring endeavors.
Pathfinders: They share the name of the game, so you know they’re important. Pathfinders are adept at peeking at hidden dangers, allowing you to scope out the top two cards when you Kick Open the Door, discarding one and putting the other back. Nothing like ruining somebody else’s day with a little bit of insider info!

Red Mantis Assassins: These sneaky stabbers specialize in opportunistic combat, able to discard from their hand to get wicked bonuses when they’re Looking for Trouble. And when the threat looms a little too large? They’re also very gifted in the art of Running Away.

Eagle Knights: These do-gooder defenders of freedom are the opposite of Red Mantis Assassins, smashing evil with righteous fury. Eagle Knights can discard for combat bonuses, and are so committed to their cause that they’re quite literally bad at Running Away.

Hellknights: The first rule of being a Hellknight is that you never take off the armor. The second rule of being a Hellknight is that you never take off the armor. Because, why would you, when it looks so cool? These edgy warriors get a native +5 combat bonus, but aren’t allowed to wear other Armor or Headgear. Worth it? Probably.
Goblins
You fight one Goblin, you fight ‘em all! These pint-sized pyromaniacs are a new kind of monster that get their own special sauce in Munchkin: Pathfinder. When you have a Goblin in your hand, you can play it to help any other Goblin in combat, without using a Wandering Monster card. This can quickly turn a simple skirmish into a green-skinned mosh pit! You’ll find Goblins, Mob Goblins, Blog Goblins, Hemogoblins… it’s like herding cats, if the cats were armed with oversized knives and a death wish.

Gameplay Improvements

Tweaked the AI to make it more receptive to fair trade offers. Lower difficulty AI players should also be a bit friendlier and more likely to help in combat.
Bug Fixes

Significant improvements to connection and stability, reducing the number of times players should experience these kinds of issues during games.
Players should no longer get stuck in a reconnect loop if they are the last player to time out in a multiplayer game.
Fixed issues when joining from the Dire Wolf Game Room app, and cases where games would not start when a player tried to join from the Game Room app.
Restraining Order should now correctly undo Friendly and Dead Broke
Mobile players should now be able to defeat all Nose-related monsters with Potion of Halitosis.
Fixed an unlocalized prompt which could appear when an opponent is facing Pack Rat.
Playing Illusion on Lust Monster should no longer end the combat immediately instead of allowing you to fight the replacement.
Gummi Golem’s Bad Stuff should now get removed if you’re forced to help in a combat(with Kneepads of Allure, for example).
Removed the ability to decline Looting a dead Munchkin’s Body. The stink will wash out, we promise!
Curse! Income Tax should now get properly redirected by Magic Hat.
Duck of Many Things should now allow you to discard cards from in play in addition to your hand.
Helper Cleric should can now be able to use its ability to fight the Wannabe Vampire.
You should now be able to correctly use Dwarf-only Items while affected by Curse! Amnesia if you have a Fake Beard.
Items affected by Curse! Cursed Thingy should no longer take up hand or other slots if held by a Hireling or attached to a Cheat!
Stopped the AI from cheating at the Dungeon Casino by under-paying.
Made the Humiliation achievement possible to achieve using Curse! Dying Curse. Ironic name for a broken achievement, no?
Piñata no longer has an incorrect prompt header for its Bad Stuff.
Clarified the language around sending an Ask for Help offer to other players.
If you add a card to the Charity window and then remove it, it should now have a highlight in your hand to represent it still being legal to give.
Known Issues

In rare cases, the AI may ask a level 9 Elf for help in combat, unintentionally granting them an easy win.
A jump-in window to use Take Me! Take Me! is missing before a Bard uses Enthrall.
Friendly can currently be played on a “Sleeping” monster, which should not be allowed.

Bug Fixes

Typographical Error should now have an effect when played on a Mate.
Fixed a graphical lock that occurred when a player timed out on the Inventory screen during Casting Couch.
Chat should now work throughout the game even when players leave the lobby.
Temporary Amnesia curse should now remain in hand when combat is lost.
Players can no longer use Wishing Ring incorrectly on Crawling Hand.
Playing Go Up a Level cards should now only produce one action log entry.
Action log should now show items involved in failed theft attempts.
AI Behavior Update: If an AI has been affected by the Chicken on Your Head headgear item, and a player uses a Curse to remove it, the AI's opinion of the player will not decrease.

This patch includes numerous fixes and improvements to make sure you can go about your Munchkinly activities in peace:

Fake Beard’s scruff is vastly improved and now properly “hides” your other Race(s) from monsters.
Bigfoot found his appetite, so his Bad Stuff will now correctly remove Chicken on Your Head.
Wishing Ring can now save you from Curse! New Edition Rules.
Help Me Out Here can no longer result in you using extra Items. Sorry, you’ll need a valid Cheat! for that!
Help Me Out Here can also no longer steal Items you can’t equip. That’s the kind of help we all could do without.
Out To Lunch will now reduce the treasure reward of the combat to 2, regardless of how many monsters were in the combat, as intended.
The discard prompt for Deck of Too Many Things should no longer close unpredictably.
Wand of Dowsing’s prompt has been adjusted to no longer block buttons on widescreen phones. It’s supposed to help you find things, not hide them!
Raincoat, Knight Light, and other “can be worn over another Item” effects now properly discard the extra equipment in certain cases where they previously did not.
While you have a discard prompt pending but minimized, you can no longer drag cards from your hand to prevent unintentional discards.
Now… go make mischief!

Bug Fixes

Players now correctly gain a level when playing Kill the Hireling.
Sleeping Monster Enhancer now gets properly applied to Mated monster pairs.
Fixed a rare issue where cards could turn invisible in your hand. Invisibility potions are for Munchkins only!
AI no longer gets stuck during the Pantsless Juggler challenge.
Players who have purchased the Unnatural Axe DLC should always see it available in game.

This patch brings Munchkin players an improved experience to numerous parts of the game: we’ve improved character creation during match setup so cards act more intuitively, clarified Discard UX, and improved the presentation of the Action Log and various odds and ends on different screens and menus.
Additionally, we made systemic improvements that address current bugs and avoid future ones, and improved how timers and VFX are handled during multiplayer gameplay.
Finally, we’ve continued to squash rare softlocks and fixed a number of corner-case gameplay bugs. All in all, we are very excited to bring these improvements to players and eagerly await your feedback and requests.
Improvements

Action Log notifications
Improved game setup and character creation
The game flow will remain the same, as this is mostly a backend fix. However, it will flow more naturally
Improved Discard UX
Improved App Stability across devices
Improved multiplayer UX around timers, jump-ins, VFX, and animations.
In general, these changes will mean less downtime waiting for animations. More time for Mischief!
Improved AI valuations in various cases
Various quality of life improvements to the playmat and player HUD
Some highlights:
Action log items now have notifications associated with them, so you can see what just happened without having to search through the full log
Clarified what’s happening during Ask For Help selections for non-active players.
Improved contextual updates to the HUD during combat –Never miss when the monster’s rewards have been changed again!

Under-the-hood improvements for fixing and avoiding gameplay bugs
Numerous fixes for specific gameplay cases around characters, classes, items, inventories, and cards

Community-reported improvements made and issues fixed in this patch:

Added the ability to change your selections before confirming cards to discard. Accidentally dropped in that Blessed Mallet? You can drag it back out now
Resolved a gameplay issue where Doppelganger was put into the discard pile before combat ended, which could cause improper interactions with Dowsing Rod
Items with passive abilities other than bonus strength now properly apply their abilities to their new owners when stolen or traded
Players will now always properly get their treasure rewards when avoiding combat with monsters like the Amazon
Help Me Out Here can no longer be used to steal Kneepads of Allure if you can’t actually use the Kneepads to charm someone.
Improved the clarity of the prompting for Curse! Lose Your Class when the target is a Super Munchkin
Action log entries related to Curses now identify the target of the Curse.

Improvements
Updated Theft tooltip and Thief card text to more accurately reflect which situations it may be used in.
Bug Fixes
AI’s Looking For Trouble animation in multiplayer can no longer reduce a player’s jump-in timer.
Animation buffer will now properly keep any animations from an AI’s previous jump-in action from reducing the timer on any subsequent jump-ins.
Jump-in timers will no longer be reduced after an AI takes over for a human player.
The AI now properly equips multiple race and class cards during the character creation phase if it starts with Super Munchkin or Half-Breed.
Fixed an issue where the AI could sometimes start the game with more than 2 Hands worth of Items equipped. No Cheating in Munchkin!
Resolved a corner case where Orcs could erroneously get a bonus level due to bonus strength that shouldn’t count in the fight (against Ghoulfiends, for example).
Raincoat now properly blocks all Potions.
AI names will now be properly localized in all situations.
Curse prompt text will no longer exceed the bounds of the textbox. This was an issue in German only.
Fixed a number of uncommon softlocks.
