I wrote quite a bit about MerFight recently: . This will, unfortunately, be the last update for awhile due to wanting to redo the netcode, but in the meantime, all stages, costumes, and costume colors are now unlocked, so enjoy!
New build to address the recent Unity security issue. Also, enjoy a free Drargos costume! Be on the lookout for new updates before the end of October! Thanks for playing!
Apparently ZsaZsa is being a real pain in the fins and causing lobby issues; this build should quickly resolve it and showcase the start of a new character select layout.
MerFight 1.6.1 is live with free Betta Content. Finishing characters / stages, etc. takes a long time, and sometimes I want to release that content to users for free, to get a preview of whats to come and to show that I'm still working on the game. So for version 1.6, I'm releasi
It's been awhile. I took a break from MerFight to work on a silly game, H.A.F.O. , which you can play for free on itch.io. I was happy to learn a side tournament at Combobreaker went well, and want to get back into working on the game during the summer. Two new characters are in
Recently was made aware of a very small, Gigi-specific bug involving her getting stuck in throw loops after being hit and recovering while in the air. Additionally, I fixed a few win quote errors that occur when defeating Jiro. MerFight's 15th character is also currently in devel

Version 1.2 of Battle High 3 MerFight is live! With this version, both Clamilton and Jiro are playable! (And a slight -- VERY slight -- Octonia buff) After this build, I'll probably be taking a short break from MerFight. Of course, I'll make any necessary bug fix builds if needed
Fixed a few small things concerning some bugs with Clamilton's training mode display data and win quote display for fighters who win against Clamilton. Who is Clamilton? MerFight's new character! Battle High's Jiro will also be coming soon for free as well, so be on the lookout!
Here's a trailer for MerFight's newest fighters: Clamilton and a familiar guest (if you've played my other fighting game.) Both characters should be releasing soon and will be free. I just need to do some final testing and touch-up before releasing them 100%. Thanks for supportin
This build has a few small changes, but I mostly wanted to give a preview to MerFight's first DLSea fighter, Clamilton, for a week, so from now to June 3rd, he'll be playable. He is NOT complete and is missing his challenge combos, tutorial, VO, and more, but hopefully all of tha
Very small update: Updated some main menu text and added player rank in the initial online menu. Also thanks to everyone whose played or shared info about the game today!
Okay, it's technically 1.0.1, but it's live! Here's the trailer for the final build: With this build, MerFight will be leaving Early Access; however, I did a stream on the 11th talking about the future of the game, which you can watch here: Thanks for supporting the game during i
So I decided to do one more build, version 0.54. This build is rather small, addressing mostly just various typos in the tutorials as well as some improved CPU opponent functionality. Level 1 CPU should FEEL like level 1 now. I also decided to release a MerFight Demo! In the demo
This is not a super-exiting build, but the current goal is to leave early access the week of February 12th. The changes are becoming smaller and more polish based; this build is no exception: Version 0.52 Achievements All achievements have been adjusted and there are new ones. Ar
A small fix to the outline shader recently added. The shader was inconsistent for some characters' costumes such as Arctina and Bolt. Here's a video going over some of the 0.51 changes: Hoping to leave early access in January before January 26th, 2024. The biggest things left to
Version 0.51.1 Art & Optimization Major art style revamp to both stages and characters. These settings can be adjusted in the Quality Settings menus, which should save properly when leaving. Optimized all stages. Optimized some particle effects to reduce the number of unneces
Found some issues with Gigi's combo challenges (5, 10, and 16.) Should be fixed now.
A small patch to address some errors found from the previous build: Fixed some challenge combos typos for Rho and Arctina. Arctina's armor should go away when resetting in training mode. Fixed the audio issue in the Frozen Arena stage and Enjellique's stage. Fixed an issue where
The latest build is live! No video this time, but here is a list of the latest changes: Bug Fix Fixed a softlock bug that occurred when both players picked the 8th color of the same costume. Challenge Combos All characters have 20 challenge combos. Block & Punish Combos Some
