We're glad to present you our latest update for Astonishing Baseball Manager: a new complete minor team system!
Historically, in AB, you could only send major leaguers to your minor team, and only manage those, disregarding the other members of the team. No more!
Your minor team will now display every minor leaguer in it, allowing you to see their progress through time, and calling them up if you find them promising!
We're also introducing some UI improvements and bug fixes, in order to improve even more your baseball experience!

This new edition brings tons of new content and exciting features, like new player portraits, and bounties, a new way to select the daily tasks you want, in order to get more training points!
But that's not all! We've also refined the hard mode difficulty to make it more interesting, improved the transactions screen, and revamped the way ranked games are played online!
New Features

New minor league system (engine only)
Brand new player portraits
The transactions screen now feature league-wide transactions as well
The bounties: a new way to pick the daily tasks you want
A brand new online ranked screen!
Improvements

Improved hard mode (should be closer to intermediate difficulty in ABK now)
Improved AI for trades
New options for the stats in the lineup screen

Rankings now include more players

While this is all for now, you can expect to see more this season, starting with the complete new minor team system, where you will be able to manage and call up minor leaguers!

I'm glad to announce our brand new update for Astonishing Baseball! It brings most of the upgrades from the AB23 engine, which means plenty of new features for all of you!
Here's an overview of the main changes, but you'll probably notice a few more.
Improvements and changes

A brand new UI all over the game :o
New portraits for your front office colleagues
Improved help sections
A third column has been added to the pitchers in the lineup screen
The draft pick and round of players is now displayed in their info dialog
More info are being displayed in the history screen and the league records
New search options
Your assistant might now give you small bonus tasks for TP
A new transactions page now summarize all your recent trades
You can now mass-recall your minor team players
Your minor team can now be customized even more than before
Improved franchise player UI

Hey baseball fans! I'm proud to announce our biggest update of the year! Astonishing Baseball for Steam has finally received a big engine update. Which means better AI, better simulations, and plenty of new features! This is the first of two major updates we'll release this year.

I'm proud to announce our biggest update of the year! Astonishing Baseball for Steam has finally received a big engine update. Which means better AI, better simulations, and plenty of new features!
This is the first of two major updates we'll release this year. Another big update is being prepared, and will be available this summer.
If you see anything unusual in this update, or if you have any suggestions, feel free to drop me an email!
Meanwhile, here's the complete changelog of this big update!
New features

A new award: the “Most Improved Player” trophy!
Players will now become friends or rivals with their teammates, generating messages from the bleachers
Players will now send you message from time to time to share what’s on their mind
Grades have been added to the lineup screen, to make it easier for beginners to start
Completely revamped AI for free agents
Improvements and changes

Bug fixes for international scouting
Fully training a player will now give them a +1 potential bonus, if they still have potential left
Legendary players you receive from the shop will now always be young
The Hall of Fame team selection process has been improved, which means players won’t always join their last team anymore
Reaching certain milestones as a coach will trigger messages
Defense is now considered when pricing contracts
New meta for contract negotiation
More players will now appear as potential front office members

On top of that, a few quality of life improvements have been added, like a bigger reactive zone for the buttons at the top of the next game screen (that one's for Andy!), or clickable names in the inbox. Check out the complete list below:

This week is all about small details!
First of all, the season screen has been redesigned with a cleaner look, and smaller cells for the scoreboard section. Look at this beauty!
On top of that, the boxscore has been changed so it fits longer names in a better way, and you will see more teams displayed in the "recent games" section of the multiplayer practice screen.
Finally, some contextual help popups have been added on some screens. These will help beginners to get a better grasp of the basic features of the game. Because let's be honest, AB can be quite complex!
Here's the complete list of new stuff in this update:

Improved boxscore UI for long names
The "Recent games" section can now features 12 players instead of 6
New contextual help popups for beginners
Bug fixes and improvements for the number retirement feature in the stadium

Hey baseball fans! This week's update is a great one! Two big features have been added, and bunch of smaller ones are also joining the party! The first new feature is the "World Cup". This mini-event takes place every 4 years, during Spring Training. You will be asked if you want

This week's update is a great one! Two big features have been added, and bunch of smaller ones are also joining the party!
The first new feature is the "World Cup". This mini-event takes place every 4 years, during Spring Training. You will be asked if you want to take charge of an international baseball team, and lead them to victory! This is a nice break from the regular season. It's also a great feeling to play with stars from the entire league!
The second new feature is the "Bleachers' message" editor. This will allow you to post your own messages to the social network of the game. And this includes the possibility of running "polls". You can finally ask your fans what kind of popcorn they really want (and it's not the one with cheese). Is it a very useful feature? No. Is it fun though? yes, definitely!
Finally, this update includes a bunch of other changes, like the possibility to edit the name of any coach in the league, new team logos, and an improved logo picker! Check the complete list below for more info!
