To celebrate Halloween, you can play a special optional Halloween build of the game:
Terra Ventura Halloween Perks Event:

Start playing and get access to limited-time player XP point bonus perks unlockable by exploring and finding special Pumpkins.
Spooky visuals.
Event will run until November 1 at 10:00 AM PDT when the build will be replaced by the current game build. For anyone wishing opt out of the event you can do that under properties/betas.

Fans of classic style action RPGs rejoice ! Today, an isometric action RPG, Terra Ventura, developed by the one-man studio Logical Progression Games releases on Steam. Game features real time combat, skill tree paths, player development, character customization, limited semi-random loot, handcrafted maps and more, combining classic style isometric action RPGs with modern gameplay features.
Embark on an action RPG adventure with a story set on an off the charts island where your character gets shipwrecked. Collect loot, explore the maps for collectibles, fight or use skills and find the way back to your crew.
Features:

Select your character with distinct characteristics and abilities from four different characters, each with inherent advantages - Archer, Musketeer, Explorer or Fighter.
Develop your selected character by improving character stats, gain powerful bonuses by collecting runes, unlock skill tree by investing into explosives path, attacking path, health path, alchemy path, materials path or character unique paths.
Collect loot, manage inventory, find alchemist, smith, merchant or tailor shop where you can trade additional items or repair gear.
Explore handcrafted maps ranging from a town setting, underground caves, lava lakes, winter conditions, toxic wastelands, desert dunes and more. Approach situations with combat or use acquired skills.
Scout the maps for collectibles and engage in optional quests.
Play the hard more with tougher enemies, less loot and less consumable items if you want a more challenging experience.

Changes are:

New feature - Quests !
Some enemies are now respawning.
Added camera zooming.
Fixed mimimap out of bounds bug.
Sound options are now kept when leaving the game to the game menu.
Improved skill tree perks text.
Fine tuned shockwave radius for the enemies.
Improved late game enemies balancing.
Fixed various bugs with rendering of the graphics.
Fixed minor bugs.
Please note that the changes made the previous save games incompatible. Updates will be rolling out on the schedule so stay tuned for the upcoming game updates and have fun playing the game!

Hello all, This is just a small update tacking few bug fixes: - most importantly, adrenaline potion was not working correctly and is now fixed. - toxicity was improperly calculated when in game options menu. - toxicity globe is now displayed only when there is actual toxic damage

Hello all, I am happy to let you know that the Terra Ventura game was just updated ! Changes to the initial Early Access build are: Normal difficulty now has ammo and alchemy potion drops placed around the maps. There are no ammo or alchemy potion drops on hard difficulty. Rework
Hello all,
I am happy to let you know that the Terra Ventura game was just updated !
Changes to the initial Early Access build are:

Normal difficulty now has ammo and alchemy potion drops placed around the maps.
There are no ammo or alchemy potion drops on hard difficulty.
Rework of the difficulty system - normal difficulty is now easier, most notably in the earlier levels.
Hard difficulty was made harder with enemies dealing more damage.
New achievements available.
There are now GUI indicators of the actions - picking up ammo, alchemy potions and runes.
Enemies using shockwave now have increased cool down period so it is possible to deal damage in between attacks.
Late game map was redesigned as per player feedback.
Added warnings before player enters areas dealing toxic attack damage.
Fixed a bug rendering one of the late game underground levels improperly.
Fixed a bug with spawning of the collectibles and accompanying achievement.
Crafting tab was renamed to the materials tab to more accurately reflect its purpose.
Fixed various bugs with rendering of the graphics.
Fixed minor bugs.
Please note that the changes made the previous save games incompatible. If anyone wants to play through the save game first I prepared the branch with previous version of the game, where you will be able to finish the save game. All you have to do is select game properties and opt into initial branch under betas.
Updates will be rolling out on the schedule so stay tuned for the upcoming game updates and have fun playing the game !

Game features include:

10 maps
2 game difficulties
4 distinct characters (Archer, Musketeer, Explorer and Fighter)
30 different enemies
Semi-random loot
In game merchants (Tailor, Smith, Merchant, Alchemist)
Skill tree
Player development
Future development will also depend on the community preferences so feedback is very much welcomed !

Terra Ventura game development is well on the track for the Early Access release within the next two months. Recent testing of the game highlighted some areas I would like to polish before the Early Access release, and even though game is already in a playable state, I want to clear the issues I am aware of before releasing it to the public.
Some of the features that were added recently are:

class unique skill tree branches
mini-map
new maps
unique soundtrack
auto-saves
selling items
GUI improvements
achievements
leader-boards
Stay tuned for the announcement of the Early Access release date which will come a few weeks before the date.
