Set in a distant future from the events of Manafinder, take the role of Rey and witness how manastones continue to shape the world.
Most living beings have moved on from the eradication of mankind, but there are those who still want to ensure the job is complete.
Human settlements have become naught but ruins, filled with the misanthropic Purged. The rest of Theia remains as wild as ever. As the seemingly sole human survivor, Rey has opted to "rot away" in isolation, that is, until his Luperci friend Remus brings him some tidings that will forever change his life...
The world does not need saving; you do.
The next tale in the story of Manafinder will be released in 2027. Wishlist now!

I was made aware the game is already a 100% playable using Proton. This includes the game being a 100% playable on Steam Deck!
At this point I don't really see the value of doing a native Linux build, but if you really think there is one please comment below!

Hello everyone! It's been a little over a month since the release of Manafinder, and I am incredibly grateful for all the positive reception so far! Thank you all so much for playing!
I've released a fourth patch (v 1.04) that addresses a few issues, but most importantly it introduces a new "New Game Plus" mode called "New Game++"! Read the patch notes below for more information.
New Game++ has been added as an option after you clear the game. In this mode you will retain everything on your new game except your key items (including Heavenstones and Manashards), komaleaves, ores, spears, and the Counterattack magic.
The old New Game+ mode is also still an option. While I assume the New Game++ will be more popular (based on player feedback), I did not want to take away existing options.
If you have an existing save file right after finishing the game (Clear Data), you will be able to select both New Game Plus modes. (see pictures below)
Quality of Life
A helpful hint reminding you to check your equipment for Light elemental vulnerability has been added whenever you are K.O.'d in the final area of Chapter 4.
The hint provided when you are defeated by the boss Mount Olov has been updated to be even more informative.
Additional autosave triggers were added in the final area of Chapter 4.
Fixes
Fixed an issue where a couple of Unleash attacks, such as Meteor Rain, would cause a display bug in the final boss fight.
Fixed an issue where a couple of texts were missing Spanish translation.
Fixed a couple of spelling and grammar errors. (Spanish)
Other Announcements
The native Linux port is coming along nicely! If all goes well it should be released before November ends. Work on Mac port will commence after the Linux port is released.
About the Weapons Galore achievement in New Game++
Please note that while in New Game++ your weapons are carried over and do count towards the achievement, you will still need to have all of the weapons in your inventory, including the spear updates which are not carried over.
Accessing New Game++ on an existing clear data save
If you have an existing save file right after finishing the game (Clear Data) prior to the installation of this patch, you will still be able to select both New Game Plus modes. At first you won't see the option, but simply select New Game+...
And you will get a message explaining that new options were added.

There are a couple of news I would like to share with all of you.
Launch Discount Ending Tomorrow
The launch discount will be ending tomorrow at 10:00am PDT.
I am preparing a patch that will address the reported issues, plus a few other issues I've been made aware of. I'm really sorry to all of you that ran into a bug, and I hope that none was severe enough to dampen your experience.
I will try to release the patch later this week, or early next week (depending on how long it takes to me to squash the bugs).
Soundtrack
I am in the process of getting the soundtrack approved for sale here on Steam! It unfortunately takes some time to go through the approval process, so it probably won't be up for sale here until next week.
In the meantime you can listen to (and obtain) the soundtrack at Calamrespaciales's bandcamp! (That is Manafinder's composer official bandcamp btw).
Steam Deck Support
Based on the demo, and what players have been telling me... Manafinder is compatible with the Steam Deck! :)
As of today there is no way to formally request Valve to review a game for official information about Steam Deck support, so I don't know how long it will take them to display the game as Deck Verified.
Mac and Linux Support
I will be looking into this later this year. Right now my priority is fixing bugs! But I hear you! I will announce it once it's official and I have more details about this. I just wanted you to know that I have not forgotten about this.
I really hope you keep enjoying Manafinder! And once again, thank you so much for playing!

As mentioned last month, Manafinder will finally be released tomorrow! I am so excited, and I hope you are too. If you haven't added Manafinder to your wishlist, please do so: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1582410/Manafinder/
I am really grateful to everyone who has followed Manafinder's journey, and I hope you enjoy the full game when it is released tomorrow.
Here are some important updates:
The game will launch at 10am PDT (maybe earlier, but at least the game should be available by 10am PDT!)
The game will be priced at $13.99 USD, however it will launch with a 15% discount, so it will cost around $11.82 the first week!
Unfortunately the soundtrack is still being reviewed by Steam, therefore it is likely that it won't be released until later this week or until early next week.
Manafinder will be released this October 5 2022, which also means that the time has finally come to delist the demo from Steam. Said deactivation will happen this week on 09/28. I've prepared an FAQ to answer any potential questions and concerns you may have about this. Also, fee
Manafinder will be released this October 5 2022, which also means that the time has finally come to delist the demo from Steam. Said deactivation will happen this week on 09/28. I've prepared an FAQ to answer any potential questions and concerns you may have about this. Also, feel free to drop a comment below so I can answer any additional question you may have!
Why now, so near the release date?
I've been meaning to deactivate it earlier, however the demo was a great way to showcase the game on a couple of events, such as the Seattle Indies Expo 2022 which just happened on 09/24: https://store.steampowered.com/sale/six2022
That unfortunately left a very small window between said events and actual release.
Why not leave the demo up?
The demo and final build have diverged significantly since January/February 2022. While at a first glance they make look very similar, "behind the scenes" there have been some changes. But most importantly, see the question below about the save file.
Can I transfer my save file to the full release?
Short answer: No, at least I don't recommend it for two reasons: 1. You will miss some Steam achievements activation. 2. Save file may cause some bugs further down the line, specially if your save file is from the earlier releases (2021) of the demo.
I understand this is not ideal, and I apologize for this in advance. I'm happy to hear your comments here, and if this is a very contentious point I will definitely try to the best of my abilities to provide alternatives such as perhaps providing a save file that leaves you near the end of the demo.
But I want to try out Manafinder before buying it!
If you really really insist on still trying the demo even after reading the warnings above, then know that I will leave the demo up on other non-storefront websites, such as rpgmaker.net
Alternatively, the demo was picked up by a couple of gamers that posted their playthroughs on YouTube! Example:
Thank you all for understanding and supporting Manafinder. I really hope that you enjoy the final release! And remember, I am happy to hear you out below in case you have any concerns!
