We're so excited to let you all know that Brewmaster: Beer Brewing Simulator is a finalist in the 2023 James Paul GEE Award in the Informal Learning category. People learn in all different ways and for many people games can be a brilliant tool for learning and understanding. This was a key focus for us when making the game, we worked hard to make it authentic and accessible.
Under the hood of Brewmaster is a real simulation of chemistry; so accurate and lifelike that it is possible to take recipes from a book on the subject and replicate them in the game to return the correct result. We wanted to help more people understand and appreciate the amazing world of brewing beer, and maybe inspire them to have a go at brewing themselves, if its something they've not done before. We are also very proud of our Brewpedia which has loads more info on all areas of the craft.
The GEE awards also includes the People's Choice awards and we'd love it if you could vote for us!
Voting is open NOW and you can find out everything you need by following this link here and vote for us here!
Being nominated for a GEE award is absolutely amazing so we'd absolutely love it if you could two minutes out of your day to vote for Brewmaster!

👋🏻 Hi Brewers Club! 🍁
Welcome to the November issue of the Brewers club with your latest update on Brewmaster🍻
First of all we’d like to extend a sincere thank you to everyone who has played and enjoyed Brewmaster (and even if you didn’t, your thoughts help us make better games). We know it hasn’t been all smooth sailing, and we’re incredibly grateful for your patience whilst we fix those pesky bugs.
Our amazing community team has been showing us how you’ve all been interacting with the features of the game and it’s incredible to see our creations used in ways we didn’t think of, and in cases where it results in some buggy behaviour; chatting with the design and code team leads to get fixes pushed through asap.
But what else has been going on? Well, we released on consoles! And to celebrate that launch we added a whole host of game posters from our fellow indie developer friends to the game. We hope you enjoy showing off your favourites!
We’ve also been hard at work fixing all manner of bugs, and most importantly getting those fixes out to our console players as well. Another patch is on the horizon! We can’t say for sure when it will be live, but we’re working on it.
A short but sweet update this month Brewers, but hopefully as the team winds down and moves to other exciting projects you’ll continue to love Brewmaster and share your creations with us!
Thank you all for your support! 💝
Brewmaster is now available on all major platforms! 🥳
In case you missed it, PC, Xbox, Nintendo and PlayStation brewers are now all able to meet Jeff and the rest of the team.
Thank you all so much to everyone who's followed our journey from announce and beyond, and a big welcome to our newest members of the community too!
Thank you for the reviews so far! ⭐
We want to give another massive thank you to our PC players for reviewing the game on Steam, we really appreciate it! And the two of you who reviewed on Xbox - we see you! 👀
We have over 550 reviews, which is amazing! As a smaller game developer we can’t stress how much they mean to us and how important they are.
👋🏻 Hi Brewers Club! 🎃 Welcome to the October issue of the Brewers club with your latest update on Brewmaster🍻 Make sure you are subscribed to our Brewers Club Newsletter to get these updates direct to your inbox. First up, let's hear from the devs! It’s been a long road, but
👋🏻 Hi Brewers Club! 🎃
Welcome to the October issue of the Brewers club with your latest update on Brewmaster🍻
It’s been a long road, but here we are! Our game about homebrewing is finally available and the reception has been reassuringly positive so far.
What's been wonderful is reading about what you like, and even what you don’t like, in the Steam forums. Having people tell us what they want to see improved is always useful feedback, just as much as being told what you’re really liking about, as it lets us fix up some areas, while leaning into others.
So as planned, this month has been (and will continue to be) about our team doing more polishing and bug fixing – hopefully you’ve already checked out our first couple of big patches! - as well as finishing up and releasing the console versions of the game.
When we’re not doing that we’ll likely be keeping an eye on the community pages here, as we’re absolutely loving all the great recipes and screenshots you’ve been sharing.
So thanks again for supporting us on our journey so far 😁
Brewmaster is now available on all platforms! 🥳
We're so over the moon that our PC, Xbox, Nintendo and PlayStation brewers are now all able to meet Jeff and the rest of the team.
Thank you all so much to everyone who's followed our journey from announce to now, and our newest members of the community too! And of course, a huge thanks to our console players who waited ever so patiently for the game to be just right before we released it.
💡 Don't forget: Brewmaster on Xbox, PlayStation*, and Switch has a 10% launch discount until November 3rd! *PlayStation discount is for PlayStation PLUS users only
Last week, real life Brewmaster, Garrett Oliver, played our game over on the XboxOn Twitch channel. There were some really great moments including when Sam didn’t use the right malt for the task at hand, and even though Henry did in his run through, Garrett still preferred Sam’s beer overall!
Make sure you catch up with the stream here if you missed it! We loved seeing the XboxOn team try our real-life Auroch Digitale, brewed to life by our partners Moor Beer.
It was so great to hear all about Garrett’s history with brewing, from when he lived in the UK to what he’s up to now - did you know Garrett’s a Knight?!
Customise your brewing space with some of your favourite indie games!
We've been working with some of our peers in the industry to get posters of their game in Brewmaster, so you can represent some of your favourite indies in-game. Who can you spot in the picture above? Check out our blog for the full list.
These cosmetics are available on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation.
Reviews help small studios like us! ⭐
We want to give another massive thank you (we are really grateful for our community, can you tell?) to our PC players for reviewing the game on Steam, we really appreciate it!
We’ve already got over 400 reviews, which is amazing! As a smaller game developer we can’t stress how much they mean to us and how important they are.

And as always if you have any questions do let us know here on Steam, or over on our Discord. Have a brewtiful day!
