In addition, we had broken saves, achievements, and many critical issues that we have been fixing all this time.

Some important features have also been added, and a free add-on that allows you to open a hotel next to a cafe is half finished. We are currently working on the add-on, and soon everyone will be able to get it for free and expand their business.

Next on the agenda is to review the game mechanics, animations, interface, and much more, which we are already working on!

That's why we are now refactoring the code and the project as a whole, so that we don't have such problems in the future...

We are working hard on the Farm DLC balance, we get a lot of feedback from you, and we are grateful for it. All your wishes and comments have already been taken into account and will be included in this patch..

We want to apologize for not getting in touch for so long, now everything will be different. Our task is to bring the project to perfection, that's what we are doing now. We can't give you an exact release date for the current patch, because we have encountered a lot of problems and we don't want to give you a bad game, we need some more time. But we are working hard to make it happen as soon as possible.
In parallel with the patch - we started the development of free DLC for you - Cafe Owner Simulator Hotel DLC, where instead of building next to the cafe - you will be able to open your own hotel, and expand the business even more, the add-on will be completely free and will give Cafe Owner Simulator new colors and possibilities! Cafe Owner Simulator Hotel DLC will be released almost immediately after the current update.

Also, after the release of the patch - the team that is porting to PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch - will take care of porting the new version, so console players will also get the long-awaited update!

The main things that have been done in this patch (not including fixes for critical project issues, optimization, performance and refactoring):

added textures for paint materials, now painted wall surface is not so smooth and looks more realistic;
added selling pies in the cafe (cafe counter) instead of removing them;
changed weather system, lighting is more realistic, weather and effects;
added shader “overflow” in the popup window when buying or selling;
new, more realistic water;
added hotkeys for actions in the bottom panel where you can move objects, hire a worker, sell installed equipment, etc;
added the ability to change the light level in lamps;
the janitor could go to the garbage that was removed by the player - fixed;
limited height of urinals installation;
fixed a bug with the waiter, now he gives the dish only if the customer has sat down at the table;

In the plans, after the patch and DLC release - adding new content, bug fixes, as well as we want to review some of the mechanics of the game, and try to change and improve them. Working on graphics and immersion in the game.

This update brings significant improvements including a new user interface, a wide selection of new furniture and improved animations for both customers and employees. In addition, we have addressed several critical issues to ensure a smoother and more enjoyable game play. Below is a detailed list of additions and fixes included in this update:

Added:

- New user interface
- Lots of new furniture
- New animations for customers and workers
- Customers can now sit at tables together instead of one per table
- Improved paint system

Fixed:

- Textures have been optimized, and RAM and VRAM usage has also been optimized
- The game would sometimes crash when trying to remove debris or leaves
- Game crashed due to tornado issues
- Sometimes, after taking a customer's order, the customer would get stuck and the game would crash
- Player could not move green dishes to the menu if there were no green ingredients for them
- Various notification issues
- Some UI elements overlap with others
- Font size issues on different resolutions

- In post mission 7, the player could pick up trash in the cafe next to the door
- UI issue with achievement screen on ultra-wide screens
- When starting the game from the beginning without saves, the game asked to delete old saves
- Critical issue where furniture would disappear when loading the game
- Problem with current weather indicator texts
- Tiles are often not highlighted when placing floors
- Debris on new tables levitates in the air
- After a tornado, some players could not find trash
- If all kitchen furniture and tables were placed before a task with smoke detectors, the task with food boxes did not progress.

We're back with another update! This time we're mainly focusing on gameplay fixes and a lot of enhancements to the game's localization. Not only that, we've also added an exciting new level for restoration and repair to keep you engaged.

We understand that there are still critical problems that need to be addressed and we assure you that those are high on our list for the next update. We're also working on an additional level for restoration with fresh and interesting tasks for you to tackle.

And that's not all! We're also planning to add more furniture options for you to design your cafe exactly how you envision it. Furthermore, we have some intriguing new mechanics in the pipeline that we're eager to share. Stay tuned for future updates!

Here's a rundown of the changes in version 1.0.248:

Added a new level mission for restoration and interior decoration.

Fixed language change issue.

The issue where the language in the pause menu wouldn't translate the task correctly on the level of additional tasks has been addressed.

Improved furniture collision.

The issues with the collision of some new furniture added in the last patch have been fixed.

Localization fixes.

We've made many improvements in the localization of the game to enhance your playing experience.

Fixed snowman disappearing issue.

Snowmen will no longer disappear at a certain distance. Snowy seasons just got merrier!

Adjusted food selling mechanic.

The issue where ingredients were not being deducted when selling food at the food truck has been resolved.

Task progression bug fixed.

We made some changes in the game mechanics as we said in the previous post - if you want to continue playing with old saves - please play with version 1.0.213 because the latest version of the game may have some problems with old saves, to play with old saves and an older version of the game - you can use a branch with this version, below will show how to change the branch on Steam. If you want to try a new build and start the game again - just update the game to the latest version and start a new game.

How to change Steam branch:
Select Properties => Betas => oldbuild (Old build for save compatibility)
