Omen Exitio: Hunger is now featured in Steam's Daily Deal! From August 20 to August 27, you can grab the game at a 10% discount. If you're new to the game, now is the perfect time to add it to your library and dive into the investigation.
We have gathered a wealth of player feedback since the game's launch, and in this patch, we'll deliver the following optimizations and fixes:
Manual Save Feature:
You will be no longer restricted to autosaves after this update, and be able to manually save your investigation progress at any time, giving you full control over every choice.
Note: all your previous saves have been converted to manual saves. You’ll notice that there’ll be a new empty autosave slot at the top of them. If you wish to continue your previous playthrough, load one of the new manual saves (or just press continue) and, as soon as you encounter an autosave, the autosave slot will be filled again.
Auto saves at every text fragment:
The game will now auto save at every new text fragment spawned. Saves during hidden objects will still happen as before, at the beginning and at the end of the hidden object.
Fast-Forward Feature:
If you're looking to revisit the story or quickly explore alternative routes, the fast-forward feature is there to help you read through texts much easier. To set this on, go to the Options menu and check the “Fast Forward” box.
Multilingual Localization Fixes:
We've polished and revised the in-game texts for multiple languages to ensure a smoother, more immersive experience for players worldwide.
Various Bug Fixes:
We've addressed occasional issues and bugs reported by the community. The game shall be more stable to play now.
