We have a lot to share today, Commanders!
Over the past few months, we've been working tirelessly to bring you today's update. Thank you for your patience, and a special thanks to our amazing community for your continued support. You're the reason we're making this game.
But let's get straight to the highlights:
We've added a brand-new free Italian Campaign featuring three missions.
We've unlocked all missions currently available in the game, so you can now play any mission without progressing through the campaign first.
We've completed a major optimization pass, and we hope you'll notice a much smoother gameplay experience.
We've further refined the Combat Formation system and introduced a brand-new feature called Stop & Go.
And, of course, we've included a whole host of additional improvements, fixes, and quality-of-life enhancements.

This update focuses on improving overall performance, gameplay feel, and battlefield clarity. Here’s what’s new:
Aiming reticle now correctly reflects AP ammunition ballistic trajectory
Aachen Industrial Zone map optimized for better performance
Infantry can now vault over low obstacles and cover

Formation adjustments improved — tanks will now reverse when appropriate, reducing rear armor exposure
AI-controlled Shermans feature improved collision detection and avoidance
Fixed an issue where music could be drowned out by excessive battlefield ambiance
HE explosion VFX optimized for smoother performance

this update focuses on improving realism, tactical depth, and overall gameplay feel across multiple systems:
Engagement distances for tanks have been adjusted to be more realistic, making combat feel more authentic and adding an extra layer of tactical depth to the game. German tanks and anti-tank guns now match US units in engagement range, ensuring more balanced and believable battlefield encounters.
HVAP ammunition now has an increased chance to destroy enemy armor upon successful penetration, making it a more impactful tactical choice.
Units entering formation will now select the closest available positions, reducing unnecessary movement and preventing path crossing.
Improved collision detection and avoidance behavior for AI-controlled Shermans when interacting with the player's tank.
Refined transition between external and first-person view, resulting in smoother aiming and better precision in ACTION mode.
The aiming reticle now dynamically interacts with terrain, providing clearer feedback on where rounds will land in ACTION mode.
Enhanced ragdoll physics for more realistic and immersive battlefield outcomes.

Ballistic system fixes
Player’s tank
Maximum shooting range increased
More realistic ballistic curves for HE, AP, and HVAP rounds
Gunner’s aim (shooting in SIM MODE via left click) corrected
AI Shermans
Maximum shooting range increased
Shooting parameters corrected
Tanks no longer rush forward to the target location when given an attack order
All munitions can now penetrate soft cover (bushes, hedgerows, etc.)

We’ve been hard at work for the first patch, and today we’re excited to share a quick update on what’s new.
We’ve made several optimization improvements, resulting in better performance and increased framerates, especially noticeable on the Normandy maps.
We’ve introduced a range of visual polish updates across levels. These changes are subtle in places, but we hope they make the battlefield feel more immersive and enjoyable.
We’ve started replacing voice lines. This process is still ongoing, as we’re waiting for some of our voice actors to deliver the remaining recordings.
You can now fire through bushes, which should significantly improve realism and make engagements feel more natural and satisfying.

We’ve added the option to remap the middle mouse button, giving you more control over your setup.
We’ve adjusted how bushes on top of bocages behave when crushed by armor, further enhancing combat authenticity.

Playtests are still ongoing, and we’re not slowing down. That’s why we’re rushing to fix the most common issues reported. In this update, you’ll find:
a fix for tanks getting stuck in the tutorial,
a fix for the 2D map,
a fix for capturing the objective in Aachen,
improved HMG accuracy.
We’ve tested these internally, but we’d greatly appreciate your feedback. Feel free to reach out to us on Discord or Steam, and if you encounter any new bugs, keep sending in Bug Reports – they’re very important to us.
In addition, we’ve added:
projectile ballistics (yes, that's right!),
kill cam when destroying an enemy tank,
small improvements to some sound effects.
