Hello everyone!
Welcome to our second devlog for the game along the iconic Route 66. Previously, we showcased a chaotic scene: police chases. Now, we shift to a calmer focus: engaging with the environment and maintaining your car.
Getting Your Hands Dirty
During the journey, the player can remove, carry, and replace various car parts directly in the game world. If a wheel is damaged, you will have to take it off and replace it with another wheel instead of simply selecting a new part from a menu.
Keep Your Car Running
The same applies to basic car maintenance. You will need to keep an eye on fuel and engine oil, refill them when necessary, and make sure your car is ready for the road ahead.
These mechanics are meant to make the car feel like more than just a way to travel from one location to another. Sometimes the journey will be intense, and sometimes you'll be standing on the side of the road, replacing a damaged part before continuing your trip.
