We’re very happy to share that Little Sim World is now officially Steam Deck Verified.
This has been a long time coming. Over the past year, we’ve spent a huge amount of time refining the joystick controls, improving navigation, and making sure the game feels natural to play without a mouse and keyboard. It was a much bigger process than we originally expected, but seeing that green checkmark makes it all worth it.
Being Steam Deck Verified means Little Sim World has passed Valve’s compatibility checks, with full controller support, readable text, a smooth default setup, and no extra configuration needed. You should be able to download the game, pick up your Deck, and jump straight into Little London.
Thank you to everyone who tested the controls, reported issues, and supported us throughout the process. We genuinely couldn’t have reached this milestone without you.

Little Sim World leaves Early Access and launches into Version 1.0 today, on August 17th.
It’s been a long road. Years of development. Lots of updates. Plenty of bug reports. A few big reworks. And more lessons than we can count. Most importantly, we’ve built Little Sim World alongside all of you.
For us, 1.0 was never about changing a number on Steam. It was about reaching the point where Little Sim World feels like the game we originally set out to make.
A life sim where you can:
Make a home in Little London.
Meet characters and build relationships.
Follow stories and discover new things.
Explore the city and find your own routines.
Shape your little corner of the world your way.
Early Access gave us the chance to find out where we were getting that right. And where we weren’t.
Your feedback changed a lot. Sometimes that meant tweaking something small. Sometimes it meant looking at a whole system and saying, “Okay. We need to redo this.”
That’s why, throughout Early Access, we’ve spent so much time on things like:
Reworking major game systems.
Expanding Little London.
Improving controller support.
Improving multiplayer.
Reducing loading times and improving performance.
Adding quality-of-life changes across the game.
Fixing a frankly impressive number of bugs.
We made these changes because we wanted the everyday experience of playing Little Sim World to feel as user-friendly as possible!
Chapter 3 is included in the 1.0 update, and it’s one of the main reasons this release feels like an important point for Little Sim World. We’ve been working on it for the past several months, and one thing we wanted to move away from was a story that felt like it was only happening to a handful of characters.
The thematic core of Chapter 3 is that Little London itself matters.
Additionally, more of the cast will be able to shine in this chapter, including characters who have been part of your journey since the beginning. Not all of them will have large roles to play, but we wanted the story to feel like something involving the whole city rather than a conflict happening somewhere in the background.
Finally, the chapter also starts emphasising ideas that we have been building towards since the beginning. We will say, however, that the story may not resolve in quite the way people are expecting. We’ve been waiting a long time for people to play this one.
With Chapter 3 in place, the major systems built out, and a huge amount of work going into stability and polish, this finally feels like the right moment to leave Early Access. This is Little Sim World 1.0. And we’re ready.
1.0 is not the end, though.
We also want to be clear about what happens after August 17th. Development does not suddenly stop.
We still plan to:
Fix issues.
Improve the game.
Read your feedback.
Keep supporting Little Sim World.
What we don’t want to do is promise a strict post-launch update schedule before we know what that looks like. Patch sizes may change. Update frequency may change.
We’d rather be transparent about that now than promise dates or features we’re not certain we can deliver.
We also wanted 1.0 to be an easy time for new players to move into Little London.
So Little Sim World will be 40% off during the launch period.

The final chapter of the Little Sim World story brings the full cast of characters together for an unforgettable conclusion.
[spoiler]Chapter 2 left us with plenty of unanswered questions: InfinIT was rising to power, and a sinister plan was revealed to introduce robots into the town of Little London. Something quite contemporary and reflective of our time.[/spoiler]
Now, Chapter 3 explores what happens next. Every character has an important role to play... especially those you might least expect.
Will InfinIT succeed in buying out the entire town? Or can the residents put aside their differences, unite, and save the community they love?
The fate of Little London is about to be decided.

The time has finally come to share some exciting news about the future of Little Sim World.
Today, we are giving you a first look at what we have been building for Chapter 3, along with an important change that will make the game more accessible to everyone.
Chapter 3 has now been in development for the past four months, so we wanted to share a little more about where we are with it.
One of our main goals with this chapter was to give more screen time to the wider cast, rather than keeping the focus too narrow. We also wanted to show more clearly that the spirit of Little London itself matters in the fight against InfinIT’s technocracy, and that the city is shaped by the people living in it.
Because of that, Chapter 3 will include plenty of appearances from characters who have played an important role in the story so far. Some will have larger parts, while others will appear more briefly, but we wanted the chapter to feel connected to the wider world and everyone who has helped define it.
The story may also be heading somewhere a little different from what people are expecting. We do not want to spoil anything, but a lot of the work over the past few months has gone into making sure the chapter moves the wider story forward in a meaningful way.
The patch is coming together well and should be ready soon. We will share a more detailed breakdown once everything is locked in, but we're excited to see what you'll think!
Alongside the Chapter 3 work, we have also been thinking about the price of Little Sim World...We know that the cost of living has made it harder for many people to spend money on games, so we have decided to lower the regular price from $24.99 to $17.99. Regional pricing will also apply.
Little Sim World has always been about creating a comforting little place to call your own, and we hope this change makes it easier for more people to settle into Little London and experience everything we are continuing to build.

After 6 months of work, dating has finally arrived in Little Sim World! You can now get closer to the people of Little London, spend time with them, and see where things go.
Maybe it’s a sweet little date,
maybe it’s something more,
maybe you’ll find true love in Little London?
We’re really happy to finally get this into your hands, and we can’t wait to see who you all fall for.
You can now achieve Best Friend and Dating status with:
Simon, Samir, Kai, Jacques, Jesse, Chloe, Archer, Hana, Yuna and Nanako!
To become Best Friends with someone, you must complete their Friend level, they might even give you a little token of their appreciation when you do.
Becoming Best Friend has its perks, you can now invite them to Hangouts, which are cutscene activities you can do together that give you the powerful "Chilled Out" Mood!
After becoming best friends, you may invite some characters out on a DATE! This will progress your relationship status to Dating, turning all your future hangouts into romantic dates with new animations and the "Stomach Butterflies" Mood! Keep in mind this is an irreversible change!
Characters you invite on Hangouts or Dates will also show up with new clothing!
You can date as many people as you like, with currently one exception: you are not able to date both Yuna and Hana on the same save file, so pick wisely!
We have revamped the way we play character sounds during dialogue!
The following characters should now play sounds when talking to them:
Simon, Samir, Jesse, Chloe, Archer, Hana and Nanako!
Zoe has been disabled for a rework and she may return in the future

We've heard your feedback about interacting in multiplayer, and now multiplayer interaction time has been reworked! Multiplayer interactions have been sped up by a considerable amount, which means the entire experience now feels a lot less sluggish. Phew! Try it out and let us know it feels?

Improved the quest system stability by enhancing how the starting quest dialogues are handled.

Added 4 interaction points to the Mannequin on all sides.
Reduced Mannequin furniture size and collider so it can be placed in smaller areas!

Every NPC you meet and get to Acquaintance level with can now send you a message to go hang out from time to time!
You can now complete their narrative journey and go to Best Friend Level! We updated Kai quite a bit, in light of that we decided to reset his relationship on all existing save files so everyone can experience the changes we made to him. Some few existing save files that were already Friend level with Simon and Samir may need to reload the game after reaching a certain stage in that relationship.
Longer deadlines for job quests claimed from the notice boards! They will also display quantity of items needed for the job.

Fixed an issue where reading the Crushing Machine's instructions wouldn't progress the 'Crush, Reuse, Recycle' sidequest.
Fixed an issue that allowed Passerby Citizens to despawn within a player's view.
Fixed an issue where Passerby Citizens wouldn't despawn immediately once a cutscene started.
Fixed an issue where players could observe Passerby Citizens teleporting across the map.
Fixed an issue where new Lessons would still create popups after a save reload, even though the player had turned them off.
Fixed an issue that prevented non-tutorial lessons from loading correctly.
Fixed lessons to open from the app if player has skipped tutorial or disabled them.
Removed purchase limit on soup kitchen.

This update focuses heavily on improving overall game stability. Alongside the new additions listed below, we’ve dedicated significant effort to stabilizing multiplayer and improving main quest progression in single-player. With this, we hope a lot of the issue that were reported recently have been tackled.

Making money just got a lot more interesting and easier than ever. In this patch, we bring you a renewed feature; the Notice Board orders!
Use your interest skills to fulfill job orders from all of the buildings in the town by claiming requests from the Notice Board. Each order lasts a finite amount of time and will earn you some well needed crowns. The more you level up each skill, the more complex the orders will be at the Notice Board. Try it out and let us know how you feel about it!
We've heard that many of you feel stressed out about the pacing of the quests, so this is why we decided that quests will no longer be automatically initiated one after another, allowing new players more time to breathe and focus on their characters and homes! Quests are now grouped together in quest-chains and can be claimed by talking to the quest-giving NPC with the exclamation points above their heads. Use your map to easily find these around the city, and simply go over to them and use the talk interaction!
Relieving your bladder has just gotten a lot simpler! To make traversing the city easier on your character's needs, we've added some portable toilets. Happy tinkling
