We've just released the 1.1.1 update, with general usability improvements and some minor bug fixes. Patch notes are as follows:
- Fix for CHIP holotable tips not showing after exiting the Mission Select screen
- Fix for buttons showing in intro/outro for remote players when clicking with mouse
- Fix for modal buttons potentially becoming deselected
- Fix for players deselecting their character after the game owner selects Ready To Start
- Fix for Aerovan menus being stuck open when a player disconnects
- Fix for error when a player disconnects from a game during the Aerovan zoom in
- Fix for Perfection and Turing Test achievements not firing for the remote player
- Fix for Character Select menu issues when the remote player presses a button to invite friends/go online
- Fix for Complete The Set achievement not firing when two or more players build turrets
- Fix for build menu arrows being incorrect size when opening the menu for the first time
- Fix for Character Select failing to display the server region after attempting to join a game with a different server region- Amended the ground shader to be more performant and to assist consoles
- Amended cursor sprite size- Added additional localisation strings and amended description of selling turrets to dismantling turrets
- Added additional tips to CHIP holotable and to the CHIP wiki
- Added new UI banner at level start and when EMP is 100% charged
- Added new UI showing tips when a mission is failed
- Added message in Join Game screen indicating players must be in the same server region to play together
- Added reminder of what a level's challenge is in the Pause menu
- Added additional background overlay when opening Options in the Pause menuA reminder that Bish Bash Bots supports Steam's 'Remote Play Together', meaning that if one person owns the game they can invite Steam friends to their match through the Steam overlay as if you were all playing locally. Just hit Shift + Tab and head to the Friends tab, then right-click on the people you want to join your game and invite them with Remote Play. That's all there is to it!

While Bish Bash Bots was designed with a controller in mind, we had feedback from some players that the controls felt a little off when using mouse and keyboard. As such, this has been our focus in the last couple of weeks - we've gone back to the drawing board and designed a new control scheme, as well as adding the option to rebind controls so folks can customize to their exact wants or needs.v.1.0.6

To commemorate our one-week-iversary, James and Josh of CATASTROPHIC_OVERLOAD have put together a list of their best tips and tricks to help you bash bots and, most importantly, protect the EMP!
Impress your friends with your incredible bot bashing proficiency 🤖🔨Tips for Budding Bot Bashers
Don't Sleep On Scrap ⚙️
Scrap is dropped by every bot you destroy, and can be used as currency to spend on more turrets. Collect it as soon as you can and keep an eye on your scrap balance - if you're running around with loads of scrap then you probably don't have enough turrets!
Work Together To Upgrade Turrets ⬆️
Bash your turrets to upgrade them and increase their damage and rate of fire. Team up with friends to upgrade turrets in key positions and you'll be wiping out those waves in no time.
Rest Those Thumbs 👐
Bish Bash Bots was designed to be as accessible as possible - you don't have to button mash to upgrade turrets. A single button press has the same effect, so don't tire out your thumbs!
Be Prepared for Incoming Waves 🔮
The level select screen in the Aerovan shows which bots you'll be up against, so plan your gadgets and turret choice accordingly. In-game, you'll see which types of bots are coming up next in the bar at the top of the screen. Don't get caught out by flying or shielded bots!
Protect (and Activate) the EMP 🛡️
The only way to end the level is to activate the EMP - but first, it needs to charge! Keep track of the charge progress and health of the EMP through the bar at the top right of the screen, and make sure your whole team is ready to activate it by bashing the switches when it reaches 100% charge.

Playing Online With Friends 🌐
Online multiplayer is powered by Photon Quantum, and players have access to multiple servers across the globe. You'll only be able to play online and share room codes with your friends if you're connected to the same server region, so be sure to double check your region in the settings menu if you're having issues.
We're Balanced for 1-4 Players 👯
Whether you're playing solo or with friends, the game is balanced for difficulty so everyone has the same challenge. Playing with friends is heaps of fun, but you don't need to feel obligated to play with friends in order to beat the game.
Read the CHIP Wiki 📖
Take some time to explore the Aerovan and read up on the gadgets, turrets, and playable characters at your disposal. Different biomes will need different tactics, so stay on your toes and try mixing it up if you get stuck somewhere.

Signups are open now for our playtest - we'll give you full access to the game, and all we ask in return is for your honest feedback!And that's not all that's on the table: the most helpful playtesters will receive release keys for a platform of their choice, as well as a spot in the game credits and priority access to our future playtests and closed betas.
We'd be particularly interested in hearing from you if you:
