This update was a planned one from the start, but only if the conditions of the real virus got better. It
dragged on so long, that I thought I was never going to release this update. I don't know if it's actually over. But, to be quite honest. It's over to me. I can imagine it's over for a lot of people as well as they are probably sick of it.
Unfortunately we cannot ignore that it happened and around the time this game was being made. During development it was at the height of the pandemic. It sucks, it's unfortunate, but it happened.
Time doesn't move forward in the story standing still, so it's kind of hard to erase Torvid completely when it's a thing that is going on during that time period and no time has changed since then. So, it's gonna exist, but go away part-way through the journey now.
This means, some areas will re-open in the game and will now be able to be explored, but will take some play time to get to that point. Anyways, with this new update, here is what is new:
-Opened several areas that were previously locked due to Torvid-18. Some areas will remain closed no matter what due to the economic and financial damage caused by the virus and lock-downs.
-New Game+ is now available for those who beat the game after this update.
-One new secret boss can be found in Normellia.
-A new secret item is introduced into the game.
Can be found in one of the early areas of the game.
-Barfelenope is now playable for one fight during the story.
-Added in four new Anima Cards; Temi Card, Tain Card, The Ashes Card and Almadoren Card. Tain, The Ashes and Almadoren cards can only be obtained and used once during a New Game+. Meaning, you must beat the game in order to get them.
-For beating the game, you will get the Soren, Maria, Temi, Tain, The Ashes and Almadoren Anima Cards for a New Game+ save.
-The Tain Anima Card grants the entire party 10 levels instantly.
-The Temi Anima Card deals massive damage to all enemies in combat.
-The Almadoren Anima Card allows you to change all main party members into their Almadoren Outfits. *Cannot change back once used*.
-The Ashes Anima Card allows the other Ashe that you aren't using to join your party. Their summon is also able to come along as well, as long as you have unlocked them!
-Krosuji from Exiori will appear in Euclyca in Nino's house briefly. He was always around, but stayed between houses a lot or was out on missions. He will only appear after the Torvid announcement. He will be gone again after the Setsuno/Mathers stuff.
-Mina has a new class; Sōhei. This class utilizes her spear weapon and allows you to gain access to stronger spear weapons. Also has the ability to use black magic. Comes with the Holy Lance Limit Break.
-New spear weapons added into the game for Mina's class. Also an ultimate weapon too! The Gáe Bulg. Only obtainable through her platonic side quest.
-You can now leave Syetren's pub before or after fighting Argarden while you still have access to it in the story. So, you no longer get stuck in there!
That's about it, hopefully you continue to enjoy Euclyca! If you are not sick of Squadron Infra, you can see them again in flashbacks within Exiori, in EA now!

Without any wait, here is what is new;
1. Added in a new town; Testina. (You can find this town south of Hyluma when you take the boat.
2. A new gather quest with Balls of Yarn can be
found in Testina. You can now find Balls of Yarn
throughout the game. Talk to the npc; Minyetta in Testina to turn them in.
3. Added in an arena mode (you can select at the main menu at the start of a new game). It comes with a spooky mini-game before-hand.
4. Added in a boss fight with Yeleitus. You can find
him in Hellspire Cave.
5. A boss fight featuring Aldren from Falnarion Tactics
will be available to take in Testina. The reward for beating her is a Haku Guardian Crystal. It allows Haku to get a second ultimate weapon for one of his classes.
Please note that if you want a second ultimate dagger for Kein's Spirit Thief Class, you can do so by purchasing and using the Maria Anima Card.
6. Pre-Almadoren Arc characters max level cap has increased from 70 to 80. The Almadoren Arc characters max level cap has increased from 90 to 99. They will start out at level 80 instead of 70 as well. Piggu and Arco's max level cap has been increased from 30 to 40.

Some people probably thought I was Jaded Lancer. If I was, this game wouldn't have even left 0.1 and you'd have been left in the dark. To those of you who thought it wasn't going to be finished... well. You thought wrong. Anyways, I know that the update finishing this game has come out of the blue. But, to be fair. I over calculated things and It turns out I had a lot less things to work on and worry about than I initially thought.
No, I didn't rush anything. No, the game ends just fine. No, I didn't cut content. I adapted, improvised and overcame things I couldn't do so that this game could game out.
I don't want to keep bashing on Jaded Lancer anymore. I know game development is super hard and that people are different and have different struggles. This game destroyed me. It destroyed my body, mind and soul. I lost so many things, so many people and just so much. I sacrificed my sleep, my health, my hunger, my apartment. I did it all just to make this game.
I sold my stuff just to keep going and I've been depressed as hell. But, I still pushed on and I still kept my promise and I still did the best I could, despite it all. This was never easy. This game was the most demanding game I ever made in my entire life. It cost me a fortune to make that I didn't even have. I really hope people recognize the hard work and dedication that was put into this and give it a chance.

For those of you who get trapped in the other Ashe's world by error or by those whose end game is to play both Ashes.
-I put in an Inter-dimensional Crystal behind a new door in Ashe's room. This allows you to swap Ashes at almost any time during the game. Keep in mind that some story progress doesn't carry over, but key items do so you can get through some content a bit faster if you already did it on one Ashe. Your entire inventory including your items, weapons and armor carry over as well. Ashe's levels and equipped gear do not carry over. Keep in mind that this is experimental. So yes, whatever level your entire party is when you swap will remain that way. So you can have the possibility to start the new Ashe's journey with a team of overpowered level 70 Guardian Teammates.

We are now moving into what is called the "Pre-Almadoren" Arc.
This will take place after v0.7, but before v0.8.
During this Arc, things still need to be gathered. Expect an

This Arc is not expected to last long in terms of
story as the transition to the Almadoren Arc should happen fast
in the story.
As for the creation of the arc, it may be awhile.

*No one has found the Easter Event Item yet. Time is ticking!
I decided I shall give a hint; It's in an area that was added in between v0.4.2-0.6 content. So not in a starter area including Crestella Station.
Without any more time being wasted, let us see what is new!
-The story continues! (From where it left off in v0.6).
-Added in the new areas; Path to Pinton, Pinton and Hellspire Cave.
-All enemies are now finished and will be seen throughout the game
either now or later down the road. Please check your Encylopedia tool for detailed information on each enemy as well as information about
skills, items, etc.
-Fixed an issue with the Sacred Seal skill that may or may not
have crashed some people's games.
-Added in Lyla's Flashback Chapter.
-Added in the Almadoren Boss and Battle theme.
You can hear these during boss fights/fights at certain
points in the story. You will be hearing these songs for most of the
rest of the fights when you reach the Almadoren Arc in the future.
-Fixed an issue with the Mine-Field mini-game for Male Ashe that
would accidently bring him to Female Ashe's world.
-The Invaders now give more Kala and Exp when defeated.
-Added in the final tool; Variant Randomizer.
You can find this tool from the npc; Erika in Pinton.
For a modest fee of 50k, you can reroll the dice for a chance
of a better Variant. It's really like the lottery, somewhat.
*May not function properly from continuing from current save.

transition to use as they will be treated as brand new characters.
-There are now 285 skills in the game. This number is set to
increase during the Almadoren Arc.
-Added in Cherry Gels into the game. A favorite item that is
in some of my other games. Cherry Gels allow you to heal your
party for 40% HP, 40% MP and 40 TP. They are very expensive, but
worth it. You may find them if you look hard enough as well.
They are sold in the Chesire Markets by the npc Lelica. You
must be far enough in the story for this, though.
-All Character Platonic Questlines are finished and are available
at the Guardians Provisional Unit on the left side door with a blue
lion on it.
You can gain access to the Hangout Room if you are far enough in
the story and you have purchased the Hangout Key from the Antique Shop in Idlyn.
-All Side Quests are now impleted into the game and completed.
If you haven't yet, go sink your teeth into them!
-Added in the Momo Anima Card!
Greatly increases all stats within combat for all for
20 turns. Also grants HP, MP and TP Regen in battle.
-Added in some hidden secrets and goodies!
-Potions no longer restore 300HP for one ally. They now restore HP by 22 percent + an additional 219 HP for all allies. These can be summoned by Lyla or found elsewhere.

So within this hotfix, let me tell you what I fixed.
-Removed the bright effects as they caused issues of being too damn bright. They would also cause crashes and performance issues. Wasn't worth keeping it in. Game should run smoother now.
-Removed pre-battle transitions as it caused major lag for some computers. As cool as it looked,
it's now a relic of the past. Just like v0.1's Card Quest.
-Removed the Steamworks stuff that was unused and lowered the overall file size a little bit. First time players should see a significant increase to their initial start-up time!
-Removed the WO Build. There is only one "default" build now. Which should work fine for everyone except for the occasional expected bugs that happen during EA.
-Added in the last side-quest that isn't a platonic quest inside of the game. You can find it in the Forgotten Temple, north of Cheshire Pass!
-Also fixed Female Ashe related issues that caused her to end up in Male Ashe's world.

-The story continues! (From where it left off in v0.5.2!)
-Added in Halcyone's side-quest in the barracks.
-Added in a NSFW scene between Kein and Haku.
-Added in a NSFW scene between Mina and Lyla.
-Instead of healing 600HP, the Medkit skill now heals 40%!
-Added in an animation for the Explosive Bullet skill.
-The Public Bath House is now open and bathing there offers
a free auto-life buff for the guys or girls of your chosing.

This hotfix doesn't add in anything new and only fixes issues with Female Ashe. For example, accidently swapping out Female Ashe for Male Ashe during a cutscene. Also fixed the non functioning doorways for Female Ashe.

-The story continues! (From where it left off in v0.5.1!)
-Added in the final find-em-all side quest. This time you're looking
for 50 Seashells. The quest-giver, Robin, is found near the Grocery store in Setsuno. It's important to note that you can start looking for Seashells immediately. You have to turn them into Robin though for the reward. The Seashell locations vary depending on whether you are using Female or Male Ashe.
-Added in a mini-game; Mine-field. It can be found in the Euclyca (Parking-Lot).
-Added in another conversation with Nino in his place if Haku
is in the party after a certain event in the story.
-Added in Nino's face picture.
-Mitsu has come into the story and he is briefly playable!
-Added in a Summon for Mitsu; Faldorum.

Since you can't actually do the platonic quest-line for Ashe
themselves. It makes more sense for it to be an item that you

all allies' Defense and Attack. It also revives all allies with
one HP. Finally, it grants the entire party Auto-Life that lasts

the game in the most recent Hotfix. *This is just a reminder!*
*97 percent of the NSFW stuff is now inside of the game!
Only thing left is Mitsu's stuff as well as some evented scenes
between Haku and Kein as well as Mina and Lyla. There are three
optional scenes for Mitsu. Coming much later.
*Please keep in mind that I am still gathering resources. That is why the updates haven't been coming out as fast as before. Still, were pretty fast. Don't get to used to that as the Almadoren Arc will take a bit to start up in the future due to the amount of time needed for the battle sprites.
v0.6 should be available in the near future, but not the super near future. v0.7-? is when the Invasion Arc will end. I hope you guys are enjoying the game thus far! Tell your friends!
