Greetings, Wanderers!
Today's patch is a smaller one, but one that I'm very excited about!
You can now purchase the game's soundtrack! Its wonderful creator, Jakob Sommerlund Moestrup, put together an album for you to listen to.
The other notable changes are that I've greatly improved the game's memory usage, reducing it by more than half. With the help of the community, I've also changed the Chinese Localization of the game so that it is a lot more robust.
For those of you who play on Mobile, there were some changes related to ads. Ads are now completely gone from the mobile version!
Here are the patch notes:
- Greatly reduced the game's memory usage - The "Lull" weather card can no longer appear in the first 3 turns of a fight - You can now click your deck to see your decklist while choosing or discarding cards - Made a lot of improvements to the Chinese localization of the game - A few cards were adjusted (See bellow for the full list of changes) - Swapped Raodan's Biting Cold and Read The Ice's unlock order
Mobile: - Removed Ads - Bounties now give gems - You can now pay gems to increase your rewards at the end of a run - The Starter pack now doubles all gem rewards - The last 3 bounty slots now cost 500 gems
- Fixed a few issues caused by Necromancer's book - You can now correctly add more idols to the Special Meal quest when replaying it - Fixed an issue related to cards with the text "if you haven't played a card since an enemy or ally died."

Greetings, wanderers!
This is the big one! After a tremendous two years of Early Access, breach Wanderers is now fully released!
The game ended up being much bigger than I had anticipated it to be. I'm exceedingly happy about the state of the game for the full release. More than 1200 cards, 10 awesome and unique characters, great reviews and thousands of players creating more and more crazy decks each day.
I'm really excited for everyone to play Maighir and to try the new Depth 4.
I do have a bit of bad news though: Raiser Games is no longer publishing Breach Wanderers. Their parent company decided that Raiser Games should no longer do any publishing work in order to instead focus on creating their own franchises.
I received these news very recently, so I'm all on my own to release this game now. I will really need all the help I can get! Make sure to tell your friends about the game, post about it on your favorite social medias, and leave a review if you haven't already!
- Maighir is now available as the final Playable Character! - Idol of Corruption is now available as the final idol! - Depth 4 is now available! Get ready to face the greatest threat to our world yet.
- The game now has more translations! The available languages are the following: English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Korean, Chinese (Simplified).
- All card drawings are now fully original! I started out by using some card art from various Asset Stores, but all of these were replaced with original drawings!
- You can now access the game's credits from the main menu.
- Added 4 new bounties
- Added 3 new quests o The Shrine is now locked behind a quest
- Added 11 new cardbacks o The Release Celebration cardback will be automatically unlocked for everyone who played during Early Access
- Added 29 generic cards (and made 2 created cards into unlockable cards) - Card changes: o Active Trinkets: Many active trinkets were buffed. The "Scaling" property was added to several of them, making them get stronger the further in your run you are. o "Void" discard theme: Many cards that had effects when discarded were changed so that they made more sense as a cohesive deck. o Shock cards: Shock as a status was a bit underwhelming. Part of that was because of how little support it got from cards. Many cards that had to do with Shock were changed to make Shocking enemies more exciting, and a potential deck theme.
- Added 4 new market items - Market Items changes: o Health Tonic: Now +25 Maximum Health o Mana Tonic: Now +5 Maximum Mana o Recovery Tonic: Now +8 Recovery o Shield Tonic: Now +5 Maximum Shield
- Added 8 Weapons - Added 5 Outfits - Added 13 Accessories - Added 22 Trinkets - Item changes: o Buffed Arcane/Frost/Shock Cloak, Burgeon Ring, Channeler's Glasses, Heavy Helmet, Ironwall Ring, Reinforced Pauldron, Ring of Control, Soothsaying Bracers, Spider Band, Tattered Cloak, Whelming Gloves, Aether Mantle, Armor of Undeath, Burst Armor, Cursed Armor, Elemental Armor, Force Armor, Heavy Plating, Raider's Plate, Shock Robes, Stone Armor, Elemental Staff, Elemental Wand, Mechanized Shieldsword, Oversized Twinsword, Simple Mace, Magic Plate, Scroll of Blood, Calling Collar, Mind Bloom, Frozen Flame, Simple Mace, Crystal Robes o Nerfed Crystal Ring, Tormenting Gloves, Overflowing Armor, Crystal Bracers
Character Changes
- Drofis' level 1 passive changed to: "Create a Blood Burst card whenever you lose life from an enemy attack or card." o Blood burst changed to 10 damage for 1 mana
- Changed Mirley's level 4 passive: You deal 5% more damage and apply 5% more status to enemies per debuff on them.
- Slightly changed the default decks for Mirley, Nayema, Drofis and Caitan
Mechanic Changes
- Arcane, Frost and Shock runes are now capped at 10 status - Hidden's evasion % will now be reduced for the turn every time you randomly evade an attack (-20% of the current evasion % every evade (50 > 40 > 32 > 26 > 20 > 16, etc)) o Enemies that relied on Hidden a lot were buffed - Marksman is no longer reduced at end of turn - Overcharged now only applies Shock when drawing extra cards
Enemy Changes
- Frost scaling for enemies was changed: o The frost scaling per Depth was reduced o Frost scaling per area tier was added (for example, enemies in the Fetid Coast will be harder to freeze repeatedly than enemies in the Mushroom Forest)
- Dragonfly Rider has found a Lance (He is now 3 width) - Adjusted the health of enemies in Valley and Plains. Should mostly affect Valley enemies. - The amount of cards created by enemies no longer scale with idols and Rush Mode o Effects of blights created by enemies now scale with idols and Rush Mode
UI Changes
- Changed the Quest Completion screen - Changed various tutorials and tooltips to improve clarity - Enemies with AOE status attacks should now show a different icon - You can now copy your decklist to your clipboard during a run
Rush Mode
- Rush mode now has additional card picks - Idol fights now give more idol rewards in Rush Mode
Misc
- Reduced the length of the second area in Depth 3+ runs - You can now use the Shrine (once it's been unlocked) in any Depth and for replaying quests - You can now start a run without having a full pool o Starting a run with a custom deck and an empty pool will use Quickplay rules for card rewards
- Flood Achievement now requires 20 or more mana cards
- The delay between some actions have been shortened (aoe effects and ally effects) - Arcane detonations will accelerate the more you detonate a target
Bug Fixes
- Enemies with Berserk will now trigger their On-Death effects properly whenever they die after Berserk expires - Ads will now count properly towards the "Watch Ad" bounty - Fixed an issue where loading from cloud didn't properly update bounties - And many more fixes!

Greetings, Wanderers of the Aether!
We hope you have been enjoying the Interlude Update. We’re still hard at work on getting the game ready for the final launch. We're excited to announce that a new video by the deckbuilding YouTuber, DeckerTech, is on its way. DeckerTech made a video on Breach Wanderers before giving the game high praise, so we’re quite happy about this! It’s definitely worth a check. Aside from that, roguelike-focused Youtuber Retromation has joined the Breach Wanderers guild and is already building his strategy on the Aether!
After the Interlude Update we’ve been gathering some feedback on issues on the game, and we’ve taken the chance to put together a patch with some needed fixes. Introducing Patch Interlude+, which will bring the following adjustments to the table:
Fixed an issue where Crystal Oozes with Berserk could prevent a fight from finishing
Fixed an issue where choosing "random" for tier 2 areas would start a run directly into tier 2
Fixed an issue where dying with Berserk could lock up the game
Fixed an issue where Silan wasn't properly generating tools on shuffle
Fixed the bounty "Deal Damage with Leech"
The Idol of the Hunt card that summons a Voidstalker will now function as written
Hollow was renamed to Nullify.
Slightly tuned health and effect values of enemies in Rush
Don’t forget to let us know about your experiences in the game. We read all of your reviews on Steam, so if you like the game, consider leaving a review letting us know about it. Not only does it bring us your valuable feedback, but also helps the game grow in visibility and reaching more people.

I'm really happy to finish the year with the Storyline update!
This patch introduces the Guild Hall and the new Quest system. Quests are unique adventures that you can go on in order to unlock critical progression. Higher Depths levels, some cards, items and even some characters will be locked behind Quests for new players.
I've also added 2 new game modes to the game. Draft mode is a Quickplay variant that lets you draft your entire starting deck. Rush Mode is a alternate game mode that lets you attempt a short run versus a single empowered area.
Now it's time to hunker down and work on the final patch of the game! It may take a while before that one is completely finished, since it will include a lot of new content, as well as full localization for the game in many languages!
Thanks to everyone who has played and enjoyed the game so far, I'm extremely excited to work on the final patch and to launch the game in 2023!

Hello Wanderers!
First off, I want to apologize for the delays. This year has been hectic to say the least and the game has been taking longer to finish than expected. I've adjusted the roadmap, hopefully I can manage to stay on schedule for the final sprint.
This new patch introduces Nayema, a character I'm very happy with! She's a ton of fun to play.
We also now have alternative skins for all characters! Combined with the color chooser, it should really allow you to customize your heroes the way you see fit.
Other new things of note: Achievements, cross-platform cloud saving, Idol of Emptiness.
There has also been a lot of changes to cards, buffs, debuffs and items. We have 60 (!) new items in the game, and many existing ones were changed for the better.
I hope you enjoy this patch! I'll be focusing on the part 2 now, which also has a lot of things I'm very eager to share with everyone!
I'm very happy to say that the Aether Storm milestone is now completed! Part 3 - The Shrine Update, is now live on all platforms! This was a massive milestone but it did add a ton of content to the game: I'm really happy with where the game is at now, I do hope you all enjoy figh
I'm very happy to say that the Aether Storm milestone is now completed! Part 3 - The Shrine Update, is now live on all platforms!
This was a massive milestone but it did add a ton of content to the game: I'm really happy with where the game is at now, I do hope you all enjoy fighting the Shrine.
For the next update, I will be focusing less on game content and more on Quality of Life and on smaller but necessary features (cross-platform saves, achievements, polish, etc).

Once again, community member Falterfire has been very helpful by creating a Patch Breakdown video for this latest patch!

What's New?
We are now at the second patch of the Aether Storm update, and this one is a big one!
I'm very excited to introduce the Weather system to the game! This system allows weather events to spawn in maps. Weather events will affect the fights they touch significantly, and they will also add some strong weather cards as rewards for those fights!
The second new addition with this update is the first alternative area! The Battered Ramparts is another area you can choose to face instead of the Mushroom forest. It features brand new enemies, events, and card rewards!
Another big change this patch has to do with card balance. There was a pretty big issue in the balance of the cards in the game. The way I balanced cards, a card that cost 4 would do twice as much as a card that cost 2. With that logic, a card that cost 0 couldn't really do anything without having a downside to compensate. This made it really hard to make cards that had a low cost, and it was annoying that I needed to always give downsides to otherwise simple cards.
The end result was that optimal decks ended up very regularly with 5 or 6 mana cards, because most cheap cards didn't end up doing much of anything. Using less mana cards than that was possible, but always sub-optimal. With the new balance I'm using on cards, it's now possible to run decks that use anywhere from 0 to 6 mana cards in their starting list! It should allow for a lot more variety and should make deckbuilding more fun!
This does mean that almost every card in the game had to be changed: You can see the complete patch notes, including those card changes, here: https://www.baronneriegames.com/aether-storm-update-part-2
Once again, community member Falterfire has been very helpful by creating a Patch Breakdown video for this latest patch!

Hello Wanderers!
I have good news today: A new update is now fully rolled out!
This is Part 1 of the Aether Storm Update. Since the Aether Storm update looks to be a truly massive one, we've decided to divide it into several smaller updates.
The first one is the Shah'Ru Update, which introduces a new character, Shah'Ru, as well as new cards, new items, and several balance changes and bug fixes!

This small patch addresses several small issues that surfaced after the UI Overhaul update!
- Adjusted the battlefield positions script. Enemies should be spread more evenly on the battlefield when a summon occurs.
- Fixed the level up card rewards being under the other text on the same screen. - Fixed that self freeze can steal the next turn as well (Double end turn bug). - Fixed the temporary cards with "when discarded" effects that aren't removed when discarded. - Fixed the glow for the card Pounce when a target behind the front one is shocked. - Fixed the card Pounce when the greatbow is equipped (will be similar to Shatter now). - Prevented victory/defeat and abandon run happening at the same time. - Fixed enemy turn lock when enemy summons override an allied summon that was attacking (Red drake fight / Silgas). - Fixed the doubling spyglass not correctly copying power surge+. - Fixed Paladin sometimes not creating Charge Up cards after playing its 10th card. - Moved the Map Legend so that it's not covered by phones' camera notches. - Fixed many more small issues!

Good day Wanderers!!
I'm really glad to announce that the UI Overhaul Update is now live!
I do apologize for the delay. Making a roadmap and following it is very difficult, especially with a team as small as ours, and I chose to make sure that the update was the right quality!
This patch introduces Paladin, a brand new hero who I find incredibly fun, and also revamps the UI entirely! The game looks a lot more professional now, I'm extremely happy with how it turned out! I've also added many new VFX on cards, to give the game that extra little "oomph" when playing awesome cards like Firestorm and Singularity!
Make sure to check out Falterfire's breakdown of the patch notes here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qop9LSfp0lM
And you can read the extended patch notes, including every card change, here: https://www.baronneriegames.com/ui-overhaul-update
I do hope you all like it, and I'm incredibly excited about the next patches to come!
