We on the Sentience team hope you are having a great year so far and are happy to announce a long awaited and much needed update to our game.
Our 1.019551 Build features a list of large changes / improvements:

New and improved Compass (Located under Team Status bar).
Added Report and Blocking of other players.
Added new Spectate screen.
Revamped Game Mode UI element in Bottom Left.
Ai players added to multiplayer so you can always play and progress.
Improved free look controller support.
Adding Cross-play Support for when other platforms are added.
Added language support for:

German.
Spanish.
Portuguese.
Italian.
We have also squashed 100+ Bugs that were found along the way.
We hope you enjoy this new version of our game and give thanks for the continued support we get from our players.
Speaking of players, you'll see an influx of other players in the weeks to come as we bring Sentience to other Platforms.

Hope you’re all enjoying Team Play! We’ve got some bug fixes and patch updates for you today. Nothing major, just some use case and bug fixes on Team Play, along with some UI, textures and other small things.
Speaking of Team Play, we've got an update on it becoming a premium feature in Sentience:

You can always play with one other friend for free - this will never be locked or need to be paid for!
As of Monday, to unlock the third and fourth lobby slots you will need to purchase the Team Play bundle - which comes with these goofy lookin dudes (and some consumables too):
This weekend is the last free Team Play weekend - so make sure to get some games in with your pals while it's free! We're also offering a discount on the Big Party Bundle this weekend, so if you're planning to use it in the future, take advantage of the lower price now!
Why are we charging for Team Play? We'll be totally honest: We're a small indie dev team and need your support to keep updating and supporting Sentience. We hope you'll understand and grab some cute party hats to play with your friends!

Grab a friend or three, it’s time to game, gamers. Team Play is launching today, which enables players to make a lobby with you and up to 3 friends, then queue up to play against others.
We’re currently running a free trial period of Team Play, after which we are considering making it a premium feature in Sentience. We are a small indie team and look forward to your support in building this feature, but for now we'd like to offer it free to get your feedback.
Watch our developers stream all of the updates live from 12 PM – 2 PM ET this Friday June 11. And you know what, you should totally hop in the queue and play with us.

We've got a great update for you today - lots of bug fixes and quality of life changes. Some details on the fixes and updates below:

Ability fixes and balances (Blind balancing, Connections delay added, Player goes slightly transparent when using abilities that require aiming)
AOE ability size adjustments and balancing
Only mission objectives will give full XP
Rogues can now press a button to look behind them - without having to stop your movement forward! We call it "Free Look" - like Free Bird but not a Bird or a song at all (Default buttons are ctrl on keyboard / Up on your d-pad on controller)
Team Status UI is now available in your HUD - watch your friends' demise in real time!
And way way more bug fixes...

Now for the update...
It’s only been a few weeks since Sentience first released in Early Access, and as you know we have been hard at work on a large list of bug fixes, changes and updates to the game. We are happy to report that today you will have access to a pretty major update!
Some details on the fixes available now:

Various mission, level and UI bug fixes and updates based on feedback and community screenshots.
Adding transparency to the in-game UI to help with vision.
You can now keep moving while using your Abilities.
Ability and perk fixes (including skill AOE fixes, UI fixes).
Tooltips on loading screens! Tips and tricks for YOU to git gud!
Game not ending properly in certain conditions.
Ensuring that equipped consumables stay equipped if player restarts game.
Player profile and display fixes.
In-game voice chat fixes (allowing players to mute others, muting upon escape).
Drones can’t ride fair rides – they won’t spawn inside the fence anymore. Silly drones.
Do you love scrolling in menus? We do too, so we put a scroll wheel scroll feature in your menus so you can scroll with your scroll wheel!
Daily rewards! Play every day and get a reward for it.
And many many many more fixes you probably didn't even notice or ask for... ːsteammockingː
