Hey everyone! We're excited to bring you a recap of the latest progress from the past month.
The team has been hard at work squashing bugs, refining gameplay, and adding some exciting new features. Here's a look at what’s been happening behind the scenes:
Enhanced Gameplay and Visuals
We’ve improved various gameplay elements and environments bringing the game closer to it's final look and feel.

New Character Select: We've moved out of the "GameStop" inspired shelving space and into a big box store! The store has closed and the toys have come to life. Now with 100% more in-store musak playing over the speakers.
New UI and Sound Updates: From revamped game recaps and score displays to victory emotes and sound effects, we've made sure that each match feels even more rewarding and immersive. We've also added separate sound volume settings for characters, so you can tweak your experience to perfection.
Updated Environments: Several game environments have received final 3d artwork implementation and lighting, design, or camera angle upgrades for a more polished look. We’re continually fine-tuning the visuals as we head toward a public playtest / demo. Stay tuned!
New Character Parts and Audio: For those of you who love customizing your characters, we’ve added new parts like Muncher's dino arms and full characters like Miss Purrington or Boxy —along with their unique sound packs for their efforts (wins, losses, hits, etc).
General Improvements
We’ve also introduced some new features to keep gameplay fresh:

Player Score Badges: In scored games with a timer, we now hide all player scores with five seconds left in the game to add to the tension of the final results reveal. Muahahahaha.
Mini-Map: A brand-new mini-map feature has been added to Super Kart and Snowman Slam, offering better navigation and a "Mario Kart"-style experience to help keep you navigate.
Tournament Tweaks: The FIW Tournament now features random shakeups between games, adding extra layers of strategy and unpredictability. Shakeups are events where players steal, earn, or lose points that round.

We've spent the last couple of months working on some core game loop mechanics and integrating them into the new UI.

Playing the game earns XP/points for each mini game completed

The more humans that play the faster the XP is earned
Great for collectors and completion-ists!
Currently we have 118 parts and characters to unlock but we will have closer to 200 when finished
Players can visit the "Collectables Catalog" from the main menu to:

View what they've unlocked or still need
Purchase new "blind boxes" full of characters or toy parts to use in the "toy builder"
They may receive duplicates over time and they can resell it back to eventually fund another purchase
Characters you unlock are immediately playable. Parts you unlock are used to expand your options in the "Toy Builder".
Other Updates

Recorded character audio packs so animals, humans, monsters, etc all have different sound effects and emotes. You may also select one of these packs when creating your own toys.
2v2 and 3v1 mechanics into the game and will be building out additional mini games with this in August
Constantly adding new finalized artwork and models!
AI difficulty settings!
Fixing bugs lol

Emails were sent out at 12p CST for this weekend's playtesting opportunity for those of you that have signed up to our playtesting program.

We haven't shown much progress publicly yet but man...things are getting exciting!
Last month we hired a professional voice over actor to record 300 lines of dialog for Floor is...What!?

150 different names you can combine up to 3 times. The announcer will, well, announce your player name when winning a game. So have fun with it!
50 different game updates like "Game Over", "Elimination", "clears throat...you're still in practice mode", and more.
100 different exclamations like "Hahahahaha", "Are you even trying", "Yikes...", "Eliminated", and game mode specific statements like "Hope you can swim", "Get them a pool noodle!", "Fire up the space heater", and so much more.
We're pumped about adding some flavor and random hilarity into the game. And, of course, if you think he is annoying you can disable his comments during gameplay and only have things like "Get ready" and player names.
Here is a quick example of our toy creator mode and hitting randomize:
