Added per-monitor software brightness and hardware brightness control to Display Color Settings. Software brightness can now be set much lower than previous limits.
Fixed an issue where the hardware brightness slider did not correctly adjust the monitor's brightness.
Gamma curve controls are now hidden on Windows 11 24H2 and newer, where they have no effect due to operating system changes.

Made adjustments to how window opacity and click through state are changed to hopefully make it more reliable in different environments.
New options are now available for Click Through Overlay and Ghost Window functionality. By default, windows will become temporarily clickable while focused. Once you switch to a different application, click-through functionality will be restored. This allows you to easily make adjustments to your click through overlays without having to toggle them off and on manually. To focus on the unclickable window, you can use the task bar, task ring, task menu, or alt tab. Additionally, you can still select the old functionality of the window never being clickable or make it so that it loses its transparency while its clickable.
Fixed some issues with window targeting where some invisible windows would become the target of actions. This primarily effected the drag click features of many tools, such as Borderless Fullscreen and Click Through Overlay, where you hold the orb button with the left mouse click and then right click on the desired window. This does not effect focused window targeting, which is when you simply press the orb button and it targets the currently focused window.
Fixed a bug in Glass Apps that would cause it to perform unnecessary calculations when not enabled.
Added a content font setting in the style menu. For now, this field will require manually entering the exact name of the font family desired.
Added more color style options for orb buttons. Some of the color settings do not have live preview enabled, so you may need to open a new flyout window to see your changes.
Adjusted the behavior of "Flyout Auto Remove Topmost" to activate when the majority of a newly focused window is covered by a Simplode flyout window so that it will not cover the newly focused window. I am still unsure what the best strategy for it should be, so feedback would be nice.
Added the "Legacy" window flyout option. This will cause all Simplode flyout overlay windows to have their style overridden to that of a standard window with no animations or transparency, resulting in increased application efficiency and a more classic application appearance. The option itself is available under "Customize Style"->"Flyout Mode" and can also be triggered by the new "Legacy" performance preset in the "Welcome" screen.

Changed Chill Boost Efficiency Locker Mode default to Performance. This should be a better default setting for people first trying Chill Boost, as it still improves efficiency of heavy background tasks without negatively impacting foreground performance most of the time. Users who desire greater energy efficiency should still try the Efficiency Optimized mode.
Adjusted Efficiency Locker to be automatically deactivated when another user is in an interactive session. This effects when Simplode Suite is still running under one user but the interactive session is now operating under another user. In this case, thermal and load limits will remain active. If the other user's session has Chill Boost activated, it will take over power control. This fixes a problem where performance can be unintentionally reduced when switching to another user, but retains full efficiency benefits of the efficiency locker if your PC is in the lock screen.

Removed some notifications regarding product registration for Steam users. These messages have been causing confusion, as it was not immediately clear that the registration was optional and left users wondering if their Steam purchase was properly recognized. Upgraded application to .NET Framework 4.8, which should result in minor performance and efficiency increases throughout the application. This change was required to update dependencies needed for modernizing Chill Boost.

Due to new users being overwhelmed by the sheer number of features available in Simplode Suite, the automatic free trial has been removed. Three free trial periods are still available and can be found quickly in the welcome screen.
Window hover linking is now disabled by default to avoid bothering new users who do not want to use the feature. It will be automatically enabled in the Normal and Wild preset modes.

Lock Screen: This is the same as Blackout Mode, except when the screen is restored the lock screen will be activated. This is less secure than immediately activating the lock screen, but the lock screen is more of a casual deterrence measure anyways if an adversary has physical access to your machine.

Added Memory Management Strategy option to the Limit Simplode Suite Ram Usage feature. By default, it is set to Balanced, which will try to keep memory usage of the tool low without sacrificing much performance.

The Freaky Friday update is here to make Simplode Suite less freaky. The changes fix issues with beta features and improve the functionality and usability of strict preset found in the welcome screen to offer the option of a higher level of predictability while still maintaining easy access to the application's features.
Free Beta Features have been disabled by default. This is how the Free Beta Features were intended to work, so I am unsure as to why they were enabled by default in the first place.
Fixed issue where Steam users who had registered the Free Beta Features DLC on their account would always have Free Beta Features enabled, even if the the Free Beta Features were not set to be enabled within the application.
Added a warning confirmation prompt to the Red Cyan Desktop 3D beta feature. The feature is reported to have compatibility issues on some systems. Before trying this feature for the first time, please ensure you have saved all of your work and are prepared to restart your computer if necessary.
Added the Ring Menu Quick Toggle Settings option, which is available in the Toggle Ring Menu flyout and is enabled by default. If enabled, clicking on a settings toggling action button in a ring menu will instantly toggle the setting. If disabled, it will open the flyout window where you can click again to toggle the setting. This setting is disabled in strict mode, making it less likely to accidentally turn on an unwanted setting.

This change has been made for the following features: Changing Hotkeys, Window Hover Linking, Mouse Accelerator, Mouse Wheel Accelerator, Cursor Finder, Mouse Display, Keyboard Dynamic Repeat, Keyboard Hold Next Key, Keyboard Toggle Next Toggle Key, and Focus Free Interactions.
Fixed bug where action hotkeys would not immediately work after turning on External Input.

After receiving many requests to make Simplode Suite available in other languages, especially from Chinese users who have been very supportive, I have added internationalization support. I did not originally write the code with internationalization in mind, but I have implemented a custom solution which seems to work. I am not fluent in any language besides English, so I will be relying heavily on users to report any issues.
I have added automatically generated translations for the following languages:
Arabic (العربية) - Arabic may face a lot of issues regarding right to left text support.
Bulgarian (Български)
Chinese (Simplified) (简体中文)
Chinese (Traditional) (繁體中文)
Czech (Čeština)
Danish (Dansk)
Dutch (Nederlands)
Finnish (Suomi)
French (Français)
German (Deutsch)
Greek (Ελληνικά)

The translation files automatically download when selected in the Welcome Menu.
I am prepared to add more automatically translated languages in the future, but for now I want to see if there is any important feedback that may impact my automatic translation process before proceeding.
If anyone would like to offer improvements to the translation files, I will gratefully accept. The files are downloaded to "%localappdata%\Simplode Suite\translations" and probably need little explanation, as they are simple JSON formatted mappings from English to other languages, though they do include replacement variables in many cases in the format of {0}, {1}, {2}, etc.
I have also included other small feature improvements and bug fixes:
The Toggle Ring Menu to Favorites option now works when the application first starts, and has been modified to open the favorites menu when left clicking on the Simplode button.
Folders that are mirrored in the favorites menu will now ignore hidden files and folders.
Reintroduced flyout locking. By default, flyout windows that have not been clicked will close automatically when clicking another window.Detailed options are available in the flyout, which you can use to determine if and when to prevent flyouts from automatically closing, which can be used to get the old behavior of leaving flyout windows open always.
Added VSync option to the Red Cyan 3D feature.
Added VSync option to the Equalizer Ring feature.
Fixed bug with some windows not having a action button available.This had caused exceptions in some cases.
Fixed an exception that would occur sometimes when closing a window too quickly after being opened.
Adjusted readonly text boxes to have normal appearance.

Fixed issue with flyout windows remaining attached to the menu ring even after the menu ring moves away. This would cause flyout windows to unintuitively show and hide along with the menu ring.
Added the ability to add an entire directory structure to the favorites ring when dropping a folder on to the ring menu. By default, further changes to the directory structure will be mirrored in the ring system. Inside the flyout window for the newly created ring is an option to toggle the automatic updates. Thanks to merfab76 for requesting this feature!
Added additional information when executables are added to the favorites ring. The version, product name, and description are extracted from the executable and included in the description of the new menu item, which also allows this information to be indexed in the Action Search feature.
Added an option to make the Favorites ring the default ring that is shown when using the Toggle Ring Menu feature. While you can already directly open the Favorites menu using a custom hotkey, this option will cause some of the more advanced features like the mouse button combos to open the Favorites menu.
Toggling a menu ring with a hotkey now behaves more intuitively. If it closes the ring and there is not a previous ring to show, it will hide the ring menu. It will also cause the ring to jump to your cursor only when opening and not when closing.
Fixed issue where the Simplode Protocol registry keys were not removed when uninstalling the Steam version of Simplode Suite.
Fixed issue where the Weather tool will keep popping up additional windows each time you click on the flyout button.
Fixed issue where disabling the Steam integration would not immediately end the Steam integration.
Added a Polite mode to help new users avoid certain features that can be a bit tricky to find and disable if the user finds them annoying. Glass Apps and Cursor Finder are disabled in the Polite preset.
Added achievements for using Glass Apps and Cursor Finder.
