We deliberately moved away from "carnival-style evil". Each boss has their own backstory and a personal reason for ending up on their dark and twisted path. Each Lord is a story of a disgraced monster seeking power to achieve a grim and selfish goal, one that justifies any means. You act with cynicism and precise intent, showing cruelty not for its own sake, but when it is the most reasonable way to gain an advantage.
Each Lord has their own unique playstyle, which means your tactics must take into account their twist on the build rather than relying on a familiar, comfortable combination. We have tried to strike a universal balance with an easier path for newcomers and deep customizable difficulty for those who seek a tougher challenge.
