New content

— Added Survival Mode: where you must survive for as long as you can against the waves of enemies that include normal enemies and super enemies. Every few rounds will include a boss, and health and exp resources are scarce. Oh and enhanced enemies are a thing.
— Survival Mode tab is unlocked in Global Leader-board ('AVG ROUND' being the main rank)

Balancing and improvements

— Made it so players still get gold when they get defeats in Dungeon (where you get the F rank)
— Improved some more UI menus
— Glauca boss' Gas Spit Bomb skill has a larger delay before second shot is launched
— Cadaverous super minion's Purple Fire skill has its damage and slow reduced
— Lethe minions that are spawned from Lenette boss do not give exp or add to damage dealt stat (to prevent stat skewing)

Bug fixes and optimizations

— Fixed Ranger's Kyte bow bug where it'd only push enemies to the left instead of pushing them back
— Fixed Weapon Master's Masamune weapon description text

In other news...
These are some of the things that are coming in the next few patches:
1. Melee combat will have parries, deflects and combos (ex. dash + attack → unblockable strike).
2. More weapon attributes will be added, such as crit chance, angelic mark speed, movement speed, etc.
3. Weapons purchased from Shop will be given to you at the start of dungeons.
4. Weapons will be upgradeable (customize the attribute and improve the tier with your gold).

"Colossal Saga has come a long way from when we started in 2019. It is very close to completion, and has its foundation built in conjunction with the feedback we received through social media and EGLX expo that helped us gain insight on what our players like and enjoy. With Early Access, we can continue to take our community's feedback to steer the remaining content pieces, features and balancing changes into the right direction as we polish up the final bits of the game."
The full game, which we estimate will take a month from now, may be priced slightly higher than the Early Access version. We estimate it will around 15% higher.
NOTE: Those who purchase this Early Access version will not have to pay the additional price increase, and will have the full game for no additional cost. Don't miss out on buying it early and receive free updates!
Release Patch - Patch 3.0.0 Notes
There isn't much to say about this patch as it's essentially the whole game that we've been working on since the last time our players tried the demo!
From the last time you played...

New content

— Added Aim Assist - for context, Colossal Saga can be played with keyboard, controllers as well
as keyboard/mouse controls. To maintain fairness across all styles of play, we have added a soft aim-
assist that will alter your aim toward the enemy if your facing direction is within x degrees from an
enemy that is y within distance from you. With tight limitations on this system, we are sure it will
not let you feel like you're being aided by the game. But you will feel less frustration from trying
to attack an enemy at a 35 degree angle with keyboard WASD aiming!
— Added Global Leader-board that shows you the top players in each category real-time for Dungeon Mode (Survival Mode scores and Versus Mode scores coming in next patch)
— Added Announcements board to view latest news/updates and patch notes from within the game

Balancing and improvements

— Several menus have been re-designed with the new UI model
— Melee characters have been damage buffed to scale well against ranged characters
— Roll/Dash move has been changed and now standardized across all characters (with a cool little smoke effect)

Bug fixes and optimizations

— Several rounds of optimization have been completed
— UI scaling is fixed across resolutions

Can't believe our first creation is out. It's been a long year.
But we have no intentions to stop. We have a lot of impressive plans in store for the game that we'll go over with you in the coming days.
The remaining content that will be implemented drastically improves Colossal Saga's pleasant competitiveness, late game content, and overall fun factor!

— Added Rank Boards for each mode on their respective area. (local)
— Added an 'Unlockables' menu to display well... unlockable material. This only has golden skins so far, more will be added very soon.
— Added Golden skins for Slayer and Ranger (check in Unlockables menu to view how to obtain).
Balancing and improvements
— Re-designed Pause Menu visuals, and included an 'Objective' panel
— Refined health bars by using screen UI over world text (for quality improvements)
— Health bars now include moba-style ticks to show how much health you have at just a glance:
1) Smaller ticks indicate 1,000 HP. A big tick will indicate every 10,000 HP.
— Improved jump/land vfx particles.
— Made Score Rating formula a little more lenient for melee characters running dungeon.
— Implemented soft pushes for whenever a melee character lands a basic attack for slight combat fluidity.
Bug fixes and optimizations
— Fixed an annoying bug where Ranger, in Angelic mode, would not let you aim towards an electric panel in City Dungeon due to the shots homing to nearby enemies. Angelic mode shots now have a range limit.

"New Mouse Mode" Patch 1.0.5 is now live!

In this demo patch, you can now play with Mouse Mode:
With Mouse Mode, you aim with the mouse, while still moving with W/A/S/D. You can launch your basic attack with the left mouse-click, and evade with the right mouse-click.
You can enable or disable Mouse Mode with Tab, (if you're playing on a PC via a keyboard).
This mode allows for a very easy and convenient way to defeat a horde of enemies while kiting away from danger! Get that S rank dungeon score!
Patch 1.0.5 Notes

— Mouse Mode: with this mode enabled, you aim with your mouse and launch basic attacks with the left mouse-click, and evade with the right mouse-click.
— Added a UI tip that allows you to enable/disable Mouse Mode by pressing Tab

— Added a UI info tip that shows players they've just hit Angelic Mode
— Increased the time that prompt windows stay for so players can read thoroughly
— Increased the cooldown of Slayer's dash, as his dash allowed him to evade damage which proved too strong in Versus Mode

— Fixed player names when picking up dungeon rare weapons
— Fixed the tower bug where you could jump on invisible colliders to reach atop the tower
— Replaced the ground texture to better suit city dungeon
— Added Mouse Mode controls in Options > Controls, and in control prompts
— Fixed a bug where the ending sound effects were erroneous
— Fixed Exit button in main menu not working
